RPG RPG Maker Localization [Acerola] President Yukino (English Localization on Steam)


Anyone have a full save for this version?
Saves from the old one don't seem to work, and the game doesn't seem to have some "you can unlock everything after clearing once" mechanism as far as I can tell.

EDIT: Nevermind. There is option to unlock all, I just missed it.

May I ask where are the save files are even stored? I check the folder and all I see is the data folder no save folder.
 
Well my opinion is I understand the content issue to a degree and probably should of realized it might be a thing. Being mostly indifferent about shota it's more of just a slight annoyance about missing things personally. On the positive side the translation itself is well done, just like Treasure Hunter Claire though I think I will probably be a bit more cautious instead of insta buying on steam next time.

That's how I'm going to be from now on, and I honestly hate that I have to be like that. I've loved a lot of acerola's games, and Kagura Game's translations are extremely top-notch. Treasure Hunter Claire was an instant buy for me and I loved every moment of it. President Yukino was an instant buy as well (I had to wait a bit, though since Hurricane Mike wrecked my internet), but then I saw that a lot of the stuff was edited or completely censored. Like I said, I understand given corporate guidelines (you have do make do with the system you're in), but a little word of warning before purchase would have been nice. Now I refunded the game (i'll probably pick it up later because some of the changes were a deal breaker for me at the moment) and from now on I'll look into anything Kagura Games puts out (and like I said, I hate that I have to do that now).
 
While I understand that as an official US based company you have to abide with certain idiotic laws, i gotta say that i am very disappointed that we had no mention at all that several scenes would be heavily changed and censored to the point of removing cg and the scenes not making much sense. I can understand why Steam got this treatment but Mangagamer and JAST should have had the original content. I hope you will communicate such issues better in the future and that this will not be the standard. I am however very happy with the rest of the translation and am eagerly looking forward to anything "unofficial"

So uh the shota scenes got changed? Acerola games have alot of shota fucking. It's not that I'm particularly big on it, but I like the whole concept of slutty girls sleeping with anyone and anybody, no matter the age or looks. It's just spicy that way. At first I was thinking of just buying the game from MG/JAST. But then I learnt it's censored there too, which is really a bummer (Like I get Steam, but MG is more relaxed when it comes to this sorta thing). I bought Makina and liked it, and was about to get this until I did some research on it about the "altering" of content (I assume shota fucking).

Now I'm not buying it until I see the translator referencing "an unofficial" patch that leaves the original game content intact. I mean, I'm in no rush to play it ASAP cuz I already played the Japanese version a bit, and more and more other games are being released on Dlsite English anyway. We shall see I guess.
 
The bathtub scene is completely gone and replaced with some teenage guy doing her in with a generic picture, that´s were I stopped playing the game. Appereantly some dialogue got changed and they removed the prostitution scenes with shotas.
From their discord they said that they are sorry but steam was a big problem and the missing fantasy setting was the reason why games like Claire and Makina just had small changes like the gnome thing and they wanted to sell the game in countries like germany which is why they only gave it a mature tag and not an adult tag. Also they couldn´t warn people on steam, because they can´t discuss stuff like that on steam without hurting the rules.

But I can´t tell you why they changed the MG/JAST version (maybe because of similar rulings) or why they didn´t warn us on this forum. My guess is that they just thought that it wouldn´t be a big deal because other games change stuff aswell. But from my experience people are always pretty pissed if other countrys change stuff (rip Fire Emblem or Wolfenstein). But I believe that soon some true uncensor patch appears and this is just a big misscommunication error which hopefully won´t happen again. Until then I wait and I hope that Kagura games sticks to fantasy based games in the future if games like Yukino are such a big problem.

which also got denied on steam in multiple countries. I guess steam is not the big heaven of h games like we thought it would be and it will probably only be worse from here on out.

Hey guys, just give chiakisan a chance. Considering how much good stuff he has done for the other titles so far, let's have some faith. He also mention the possibility of "doing something unofficial", we just might get something that restore the original down the road. *fingers crossed*

I definetely still trust them and as I have said this is most likely just some communication and expectation error. But the next few days will show if the trust will be justified or if we need to be very careful with the next Acerola game with shota content.

Well, I've played all Acerola NTR games, including this one, and their latest one, and they all have a degree of shota sex on them. I'm willing to wait and see for a while to see if the OP is able to sneak in a patch restoring the affected content as well. Because I know full well these games have an insane amount of variable text in it, and I appreciate the effort of getting these full translated games out, with the added bonus of non-mosaic CG as well.

If they're able to deliver in this aspect, then I'll be looking forward to the guy getting Liana translated as well, as hinted some pages back, as it's Acerola's best NTR work yet.

Erm Omega Lab Z didn't get denied on Steam. It wasn't a PC game. Sony blocked it on their console, rumored.
 
so they have removed content from the game without warning before it was sold? what a way to scam your customers, have they done this before? couse i was thinking of buying fallen and treasure hunter claire but not if they have less content than the jap version

Ah ok thanks I don´t even care about the game but some news site made it look like it has problems on steam.

No Claire and Makina only have very small text changes. For example at a church there is a scene with shotas and some nuns and the game says at the beginning that they are gnomes or halflings (I don´t remember what exactly) but there are no picture changes or missing scenes, you can easily see that they are shotas they even still speak like shotas. The translations are very good and faithfull and I highly recommend them
 
anybody has a fully unlocked galery save, these game is booooooring, also i hate games that give you a limited time. i dont what to play it anymore just want to se the events, i am no day 30 and boored out of my fucking mind it aint fun like clare or makina were, but since i already have 3 hours cant ask fo a refound anymore.

I agree Liana is their best NTR work but this game will suffer a lot from steam. 1 main event is with a shota, multiple bigger day events are shota, 2 night events are shota and multiple prostitution events. Maybe the fantasy setting saves the game and half of the city is populated by gnomes or we would get an early unofficial patch. But
Yukino only misses 1 bigger event and some smaller scenes, I don´t want to see the riot if Liana gets released and half of the game got censored.

because I'm a person that likes to... uhm... get down to things, yeah...
I asked a friend that knows japanese to compare a couple scenes from the english version and the original
this is what I got (copypasting from the mail)

-What the hell you sent me, degenate? I'm a girl, dimwit! Next time you ask me to read some porn you better send me some male on male action!
-Dialogues are almost the same, seems to me just changed details like age of the guy and something here and there to make it coherent.

so, I 90% lost my contact for further translations, but most importantly I have no reason to doubt my friend, so I think the translation we got is pretty close to the original text...

btw, take this however you want, I'm not trying to force you to believe anything...
but better stay on the lookout

Damn why the f*ck the shota scene is missing i save some money to buy this game yet it's not complete Damn create a freaking patch for the lost content, By the way where can i buy the freaking Webcam i wanna try some streaming

Of course the translation we got is very close to the original, nobody doubted that, they do a really good job with translations. But the thing is every shota scene got changed/removed that´s why we are waiting for that patch. Don´t get me wrong Yukino deosn´t have that many shota scenes but for example there is a bathtub shota sex scene which got changed to a horny teenager with some other pictures and some prostitution scenes are completely missing. The translation in general is great and if you don´t like shota anyway just go grab it. But the communication in this forum could have been different and I think if chiakisan would have told us, than the reaction would have been completely different (I can understand that they can´t talk about that stuff on steam because of the rules).

But the future of the translations are still very concerning many other Acerola games have a lot of shota scenes (10 or maybe more) and they said on steam and their discord that the missing fantasy tag was a big problem. But after they got asked if Melissa can be translated they said that it´s complicated because of the amount of loli and shota scenes (even though it has a fantasy tag and the main char is a deamon). The MG/JAST version is also a mystery. I still bought the game on steam because I trust them, I just hope that 1. The communication gets better 2. We will get an unofficial patch 3. The future games won´t have this problem.
