For the true ending you need to do all of the friendship quests (Cyrus includes, if he leave your party then you're not on the true ending route)
It's the ending. I think you get an ending instead of a boss at the angel place if you haven't done any of the friendship quests.Welp, that went downhill fast - only got to 39th quest (Jessica's), couldn't find her in town to talk to her (ironically, the Casino and Brotehl were the only places I skipped), so I went straight to the desert, upon entry I got a scripted "introduction" to a shortcut to the boss room, used it (new stuff, yay, gotta explore), another scripted event, warped to a new location this time (yay, more new stuff), went through the place - one side ended in a big empty room, the other side......game ends. Not sure which bummed me more: the part where there was no boss fight (was that because of Ending 01, or is there no "Last Boss" in any of the endings?) or the fact that I cleared the game before having cleared even half the quests in it.
On top of that, the only reason for quests to exist in the game seems to be "to get more H" - you don't need them to level, you don't need them to progress on the map, you don't need their rewards (between the strip show, the manor and the love hotel, you can make enough money for all the costumes; and the gear rewards are too weak by the time you get them).
TL;DR - as RPG, it disappointed me quite a bit, in part due to me being more-or-less familiar with the sytem - I cleared their previous - Cynthia - game, it had the advantage of being new to me. As hentai....I was hoping for more futanari action than two scenes for one character (God bless 月の水企画 and their futa fairies in every game
