Oh what's with the popularity poll on dmm? Pretty tough choice really, the 3 options for Aegis are all great (Pretty much like them all equally, but I don't have any of them to know their cgs/personalities at all), wonder why those were chosen. I tried to vote for Bashira and it gave me text that I can't copy/paste

And yeah, I should focus on awakening units. Because I don't know what bonus they'll receive, I don't know who to focus on first.
I would have to test this with her to ascertain this, but here's what I think her damage multipliers are (I still have to test Rin's multipliers using this method, otherwise I'll have to switch to Iron's method):
If you have time, please feel free to test this with your Ada.1: 1.2
2: 1.23
3: 1.27
4: 1.3
5: 1.33
6: 1.37
7: 1.4
8: 1.43
9: 1.47
10: 1.5
Trivial Knowledge:
Japanese people does not distinguish the sound difference between L and R .
Sometimes it's a funny joke.
Sometimes it's a major problem which arise when we translate Japanese text to English.
So all "Rin","Rynn",'Ling" are the identical sound for Japanese.
I believe the name for 武闘家リン should be spelled as "Ling", because her original name would be 姈, 玲 (popular Chinese female names which mean smart girl) or 昤(means sunshine).
And 天の軍師レン would be "Lian", because she seems to be named after 莲 (lotus flower).
I am still hoarding my Ada copies because of lacking Platinum Fairy to fuse, also i am more focusing on cost reducing Panes and Calliope.
I want to ask how many fairies should i use when fusing an unit with his/her copy for cost reduction and skill up ?
How are you all doing on Ada? You all hoarding her copies until the event ends?
Anyway, why do u guys like re-translating all the names? I mean, most of them are non-japanese names phonetically translated to japanese, I know that, but translating them back to their originals feels weird (I don't even know how to pronounce most of them and nihonshin can't even try).
It's like if some german guy named "Karl" gets called "Carlos" in spain :S
We do not write the names in katakana, because that is obviously a pain without proper computer setup and I guess not everyone here is fluent in it ('fuck, is this tsu or shi??'). Using romaji transcription however is very artificial. When you start naming units like 'Shidisu' it is nowhere near close to original pronunciation and as far as I reckon this is simply not a proper way to translate a name from katakana. We simply lack the proper phonetic characters to write down the Karl -> Carlos transition.
When feeding anything better than bronze to a silver or gold i always go for 1 unit + 3 fairy, as those fairy are just too easy to get.
For platinum unit you generally want to go 2 unit + 2 fairy, as the exp is the same than 1 unit + 3 fairy, the only time you want to go 1+3 is if you feed a male gold or better, if you have crazy amount of the event platinum girl you can always go for 3 unit + 1 fairy, or you can also feed them with silver fairy if you don't have any platinum fairy.
From what i understand, that mean if i want to fuse Pales with her copies, i should fuse her with 1 copy + 3 fairies while fuse Ada i should go 2 copies + 2 faries ?
is it the most cost-effective way to cost reduction and skill up an unit because i do not have many copies of either Pales or Ada at all

A platinum fairy is worth around nine times more than a silver fairy.
Black fairy appears every so often, they usually aren't farmed, and just appears as a nice surprise.
... or an unpleasant surprise (-1 unit box size) if you don't have any black units .
Exactly....
Fairies should give 2x for equal or less rarity units.......
Agreed, but there's really never a point in time where that'd be useful, so I kind of understand it. Would you really use a black fairy to level a plat unit? Plat and gold fairies to level gold and silver units? Not likely, by the time you have a bunch of gold fairies for instance, you don't really have many silvers you need leveled. It's similar with all the other fairies. I see it as a way to avoid wasteful fairy usage lol, though it would make sense.
You can see how Aegis rates fairies by looking at the red gem shop:
Silver: 10
Gold: 20
Plat: 70
Black: 80
Pretty huge leap there. Interestingly a silver unit is worth less than a plat fairy and a gold unit is worth less than a black fairy as well. Plat unit blows everything else out of the water though. I think the cost of black fairies and plat fairies/units vs the 70 cost gold unit speaks the most for the balance of the game, lol. Plat/Black units are really meant to be leagues above the rest. It's interesting how close the price of plat and black fairies is though. You'd think there'd be a greater difference. I would think plat fairies would be 40-60.
Black units are almost exclusively for people with money while 90% events features a platinum unit so I would gladly use any black fairy on a plat.
I have sold for gold almost 10 black fairies and counting...
Oh, even more. Gold units are by far more rare than its fairies. I found myself several times with lots of gold fairies and only a Themis and a Carie to level while a Valery was urgently needed to clear an event :S
When you finally get a black unit, you're going to cry that you sold those fairies x.x Hopefully you've been spending some crystals on inventory slot expansions, so holding on to them shouldn't be a problem. Well now we know that silver units can't be awakened, so all those gold fairies will be useful to max level Themis and Carry for awakening![]()
Not to mention we're about due for a gold rush event I think, maybe in 2 events. I'm guessing you haven't been around for those but it's like 6+ free gold units and it's a pretty fun event.
