I think this is pretty much how I did it. It makes you install the DMM appstore and all the updates come from there. It's nice that it only has to download things the first time you start the game after a patch (but that first download is like 120mb, so do it on wifi). Also icons during events tend to be bugged (e.g. instead of Claudia, I had Horus speaking to me about the dragon slayer event).

I actually like using the Android version more. It's just easier to place units with your finger instead of a mouse.

It's Youko (妖狐), which has the same first kanji as youkai (妖怪), but replaces the latter kanji with the one for fox (狐). You could translate it as spirit/demon/monster fox, but youko rolls off the tongue easier, and doesn't carry with it the same sort of baggage the possible translations have.

You can always resell the magazine to recoup some of the loss (or all of it if you're like that person selling the 2013 November issue for 45USD). People rarely buy these kinds of magazines for the information anymore due to the internet, so they're more like artbooks with advertisements. Type "Tech Gian" into someplace like Ebay to get an idea on how much some of these people resell these things. You could make a tidy profit like the people who bought all of the C86 Comiket Goods, and then resold them for 50-150% more than what they originally paid...

As for Skill-up/Cost-Down. You can purchase additional copies of the magazine and then feed the extra copies to each other. They also might add her to the game like Minerva (and Farne at some point). But the last collaboration unit, Moldevort, hasn't been added to the gacha yet, so it's likely Tamamo will share the same fate. I'm curious if they're going to retcon some of the challenge quest maps, so that they have sapphire fairies, or if it's going to be yet another thing you need to trade red crystals for.

Also, I want to ask a huge favour from anyone with a mobile device (e.g. Android), or anyone that uses Firefox/Chrome as a browser (specifically Chrome). There's a mobile game on DMM called "悪逆のケモノコレクター" that I'm trying out, and it has an invitation promotion for a bunch of kemonomimi character cards I want. Forever, so long as you don't go over your gift cap of 100 (there are some people who still have their Valentine's chocolates in their present box). I use my gift box as a storage space for fairies that I might need for an emergency.

Finished the first phase at 484(+5~9) fangs. Spent about 1 sacred crystal a day to get the following to drop:
Gustav: 2
Daniella: 2
Cecily: 5
Plat Bucket: 4
