Since as my team got stronger i didn't bother to check more and more after the first or 2nd day for more strategy.
Most of the map i also did blind run except the last map or 100/2 map, where i checked whats incoming and tried to plan my own strat with my own unit.
+As much i hate to say it, yes there still some failing cuz of bad cost management / but its more fun this way than totally follow video

Then you have idiots like me who blinds everything anyways, and 3 star it cause balanced party with black rarity unit is too op xD

The following is the truth:
Or at least 420. 420 is a sweet spot for magic crystal. (Minimal 20 runs, likely 24ish during 1.5x)
70 * 6 = 420. (6x Maurette for min cost or die trying)
100 * 4 = 400. (4x AW Fairy)
70 * 3 + 100 = 310. (3x Maurette + AW Fairy)
300 + 100 = 400. (Saki + AW Fairy)

I only got 500 magic crystal on the last 1.5x drop rate >.<
The reason for this is i only SC purely only for stm recovery while leaving the chr recovery by natural.
And the reason why i run out of those crystal is well... i think during that time i AW Serra / Paula / Pippin, then when maurette appear in trading post i got 5 copy of her (She still stuck at -2 argh !!! *not going for "Die trying")+ AW her as well.
Of coz during these duration i also made some more magic crystal, although i can't remember from where now... (not from daily i think since it always farm farm farm specialy chloe and Isabelle event)......

PS: why i AW Serra 1st instead Bernice even i got the soldier ? Her AW skill seduced me more.....
and i blame whoever show that video of AW skill Serra taking 2 lich + boss during Reanbell last map (i believe it was.... draa )

Edit: i just remember.... isn't the 1.5 drop rate was before Pippin event (might be mistaken)
Looking at time line it should be appear somewhere this month....

Hello!

I'm sorry to interrupt without any real thing to say about what you guys are talking about, but I just started this game today and I'm kinda lost... I've managed to get up to a decent point for the beginning (I think), and even though I can kinda do missions I've got a few questions that I would greatly appreciate if you could answer...

First: I've got a fair knowledge of japanese, but kanji is still a huge problem for me. Reading the skill descriptions is easy enough but I have problems knowing what each class does, and considering there are two versons of this game now, would it be better to jump to the english version or stay here?

Second: I've been trying to reset on different accounts a couple times to get a black rarity unit from the get-go, but I haven't been too lucky(I know the auto-draw is locked, but I use the 6 gems you get from her 3 as a gift + the 3 you get from 3-starring the early levels to do a premium draw). The question is, are these units really worth doing this? For looks I can tell they are, but yeah that's only looks...

Third: I've noticed there are a lot of specialized classes after taking a look through the wiki. My question is, are these units, in a way, "superior" to more basic classes?

Four: After finding the trading post and the way to obtain these magic gems, when should I try to tackle the daily missions? I've done the gold armor daily a couple times today, but it did not seem worth it at all experience-wise and kind of slowed me down in XP.

Other than those four questions (I'm sure I've missed some in my head), I can't think of anything else to ask... Other than maybe tips and tactics from you masters? I'm kind of at a loss as of what to do right now, I have reset a couple times and gotten a couple gold units and a platinum, but my main account (the one I progressed in) has about three-four gold units and two platinum, Bashira and a Soldier with the +15 UP skill.

Edit: Oh yeah, a fifth! Do you ever get increased max stamina? :3

ok let's answer your question 1 by 1:
1st: we just discussed this and i made a little summary regarding en vs jp ver, its 2 page back please look at it (Pg 842)

2nd: while the game doesn't require the word *MUST HAVE* black rarity unit, well these unit are usually special / unique and they stick with you until end of game + its hard to get a black gacha unit in future.
I think the best part of having at least 1 black rarity unit is they can be used to feed black fairy in combination ( its a unit that multiply the exp gain and its 2x rate for same colour fairy *you can combine 4x at a time so a 3x fairy will boost exp by 8x*)
My old experience have a really bad time keeping these fairy too much in my storeage *run out of space* / of coz there also black rarity event unit, but no idea when will it be

3rd: The answer simply YES, there are really broken unit that can break the game difficulty itself and those mainly from black rarity gacha unit. (of coz some of these unit need to be lvl-ed up 1st or awaken or skill awaken)

4th: daily is like misc stuff where you trying to get Gold / plat cans / fairy / affection item / magic crystal....
In efficient way, most ppl prefer to use their charisma for story map to lvl up unit, while stamina use on challenge map for fairy and affection item (Phalanx 2 map best place to farm)
Personaly i felt its better when you start farming daily mission is when you able to hit extreme tier map at least or when there 1.5x drop rate event for daily map

5th: The answer is yes you will get increase max stamina at rank 101 / 120 / 140 / 160 / 180 / 200 making you max stamina increase to 18

Edit: WoW... my 1st platinum from SP summon..... Mama Gerome / *Death... 2 S. soldier to CC / 2 S.soldier to awaken*........ i need 5 more S. soldier from this event !!! T_T why they not dropping

Also, for the record, I chose to AW Maribelle instead of Berenice. CC Berenice works perfectly fine for all situations except hard tanking, in this case Maribelle is better for. (*besides, I do have a composition of common silver/gold units kept at no AW for strategy video taking purpose)

Arguably, it's easier to start at the EN version if you don't have any Japanese knowledge. But since you did mention you do, it's better to power level in JP until you can handle all events map except the last one. I managed that in 2.5~3 days back in the days. Hell grind to Prince level 64. *shivers* Always remember, ignore first event, (you can start on the second part of the event) focus on getting at least 3~4 CC units (sniper, witch, healer, heavy armor, gold soldier Katie) , and preferably with an ace duelist. (Your platinum/black of choice)

Things should be easier now though. Given all the daily and stuff. But that CC list, you can ask for who to CC after you complete the above.
(Black are notoriously hard to CC before fairy daily at higher difficulty)

I've been trying for the second thing while I let my charisma restore, so right now I'm kind of in a lull...

Based on number of Goddess Crystal you spend. (Not have/or purchased)

1) Keep going with the team I have: postimg.org/image/9cp8t9spl

Despite the lack of a black rarity unit, it's better than decent due to Jerome and Bashira.
1) Jerome's usefulness and potential is top tier, basically the black rarity unit that isn't black for Deployment Point regen.
2) Bashira is pretty good as a Platinum Archer, and can trivialize maps much like Nanaly. (Not as well mind you)
3) You also have Merrice, who's an great Mage, Iris who's a solid healer, and Monica to farm for Magic crystal. (Which allows you access to several other units in the trading post like Maurette) Cholris you got from tutorial is a solid witch will help you a lot.
4) Carry who you didn't show, but surely have is a great duelist after AW. But sub-par before that.

This team's quite fast at reaching the point AW units need to come into play, but falls behind in potential when high tier or above black rarity units are gotten. (Since good+leveled black rarity unit allows brainless gaming)

Judgement: If you are ok with spending money in the future, and confident of your luck isn't negative, this team is solid. A great start with everything you need except a duelist/princess who you will need to cover for. Especially since you have Jerome.

But if you want Brainless gaming in Aegis (excluding highest difficulty of course) you will need someone like Minerva/Nanaly/Aisha/etc someone from the high/top tier. Just a black isn't good enough you, you need someone broken. (Otherwise, you will spend ages to AW a black rarity unit and enjoy that brainless gaming)

I actually do not have Carry... I believe she's the one you're supposed to 100% get on your first draw, but I got bashira in it. I do have a pegasus rider though.

I am happy to run with this team, but I gotta be honest, I've gotten far enough in missions where I can't really keep up with the flow of monsters... my soldiers hold on well and can get healed properly + I have a good amount of ranged and long distance damage, but I've noticed I fall flat on my face when it comes to setting up walls and things just flood through everything I have, including Leanne, who dies in like four hits... Do you have any tips to solve this?

I suggest changing your silver archer out for th other two more common ones. Easier to low cost. And a low cost archer does wonders

I'm stalling out on that, hoping I can get another copy of her relatively soon, and because I'm short on xp right now and she came at lv 30, but thanks for the advice, I was just hoping she'd come from another completion soon.

Unfortunately, that's not the case. The next time this girl becomes available is after Undead Monsters, which is a giant wall that requires 3~4 CCed healers period. Hence, you won't see her copy and why leo mentioned you should swap her to someone else.

Thursday & Friday only, don't bother right now, you will get slaughtered in the high difficulty maps and the return on low difficulty maps are ignorable. (Though 70 should still be reachable even on low difficulty)

They changed ... Carry to Bashira!? Aegis I want a Refund! ><

Pegasus rider isn't a duelist, you are going to need someone else like Mischa for that role until you get someone more suitable.

@PJFrost, I already told what I think about multiple accounts to roll black, here you go:

My Japanese is non-existent and I still play jp version. People already told you pros and cons of both version. I will only Af that every week (every event ) we have our awesome Petite translating maint info, changes into game and whole story around the event.

I just disagree about making multiple accounts to get black. Black even from gacha is 3% chance. Instead of starting the game and having fun from it you well be repeating begginer steps to get something with really low chance to succes. Some of us play without black ( I think Crow is playing for nearly 1,5 year and don't have any premium blacks), some have just one ( me ), some got lucky getting black from Free summon (Petite, Draa and some other I don't remember) and some are just having black army (Draa too.. and Ashurmen).

If your Japanese is bad then play begginer guide on Nutaku and then move to jap version. We have best toys here

Anyway, @Draa, he can't have Carrie. It is a shame they switched her with Bashira. We love our traitor Carrie. Although good plat archer at start might be better than Valk used after AW.

Keep on doing storry mission now, it will be pretty fast and in week-two you will be able to do some story missions, same with daily missions. Dailies are cool and usefull (especially monday one) but not on such low lvl. For now he most important thing for you is to raise your core team.

We have a lot of specialists lately but they aren't always superior to others (Sandra is the only exception info). You pulled really good plat soldier, gold mage Mehlis is a girl I was waiting for a long time to get and she was usefull to me even longer. silver male mage (Valerie) was my only mage for quite a long time. I wasn't able to get anything better from events etc. Most of the times I was using this silver + bronze. You have here really good gold one.

Yu just missed first event for pegasus rider but I see you have premium one. This is nice solid group for starters. Keep playing it.
I have one comment about this group. Gold pirate Monica isn't really good DPS. Everyone should have her, because she increase drop of red crystals but don't invest in her for now. Better raise some usefull silver (like witch). Monica will be better after AW and it is really long long road before you will even think about AW.

The last thing: PLEASE dont 30CC your characters! You have to 50 lvl them and then CC. Still some time untill you do any CC but I want to make sure you wont do this mistake.

I am too lazy to check which strat you are stuck but there is one certainly hard one. One I used archers to complete. Anyway. There are 3 things you want to check when you have troubles with map:

Farming previous maps to raise your girls is ofc good. Keep in mind that eatingsame class food gives you more exp. Like: when exping your silver/gold/plat soldiers it is best to eat also soldiers: iron or bronze ones.

I don't use avengers so I will let someone else tell you their pros and cons.

Most of the early game is about getting your units past certain stat thresholds, which is why your units are getting wrecked. You'll want to raise your units so that they take as little damage as possible. Raising a heavy armor to optimal levels will help you with story mode progression because they will be soaking in damage from the strong enemies, while also staying on the field long enough for your healers to do their job. On the same vein, healers also need to be strong enough to heal the heavy armors. They need to be leveled up to lessen the number of heals required to get the heavy armor back to full HP. One of the wiki has the stats of the enemies for the story mode missions. You can compare it to your units' stats and see how they match up against each other and gauge how difficult it will be.

Don't neglect your healers' and your tanks' affection. Defense may not seem great, but it really makes a big difference against higher tier threats.
