Just got Belinda, she doesn't seem that much stronger than Cloris. Is she worth investing in if she's likely the best witch I'll see for a while?

I rose chloris instead first because she has attack strengthen. I think you need Belinda or any witch with a sufficient range boost to beat the magic war challenge. I stopped using witches for the most part once I got kikyo even if I didn't have her Id be using kagura or someone else that can do the witches job instead so the witch attack passive likely wouldn't matter for me.

I ate a lot of SC during previous week and I am down to 30 only. Glad for the star trial + revival I need nothing from. I wont need to use any SC during this week and I will still be farming story/daily. Fortunately my Belinda is min cost 4/5 skill and my free copy from 1st attempt will be awesome food for Fedora.
Unfortunatelly 3 weeks doing almost nothing is kind of boring so Iat least hope event missions will be hard with these new tigers.

@razisgosu, Belinda upon AW have 7% AT buff to all witches. You want her. She is also event girl with stats similar to platinum premium characters. Great attack, awesome utility, etc etc. Chloris is her crazy mom and I for example never needed to raise her. Managed well with Belinda + Caliope, + Nenya and then I got Elsa also.

Got Silver.... T___T again!!! Platinum Light!!!!

And today got Belinda

Tough choice......
Belinda could be atleast -3CR or even -5CR if I am Lucky
While the Loli cannot.... Which I should use and AW???
Given I am lack PlatinumArmor now...

Wow Desperia's quest was pretty easy compared to Bernice's that I did the other week.Also I messed up on the last map,needed to switch prince and Katie's spot and I would have 3 stared.

Just rolled the black fox girl Kayuwo. She is hot, but is she any good? Stats seems meh.

Edit: saw some videos on nico, her AW skill seems pretty good.

Finished all of the maps; had to do the penultimate map twice because I let Anya go bonkers on the pack of four-legged fiends, which led to 2 of them zooming past her and Aria. This event is surprisingly light on dialogue; there's only 89 lines of text. I'll try and finish it as soon as I wake up from my nap.

Nothing special this time around, block/heal/kill.
The map can be further trivialized with a strong duelist/princess.

Managed to bring my Belinda to her perfect form (CR-5 Skill 5/5) with only 2 copies from (CR-5 Skill 3/5)

Immediately do her Affection Quest. It's kinda easy if you have her in perfect form

Last time I checked her max cost was 12 preCC and min cost 9 preCC. That is just 3 cost reductions

A cost reduced Chloris is really useful too.
I usually bring her instead of Belinda. Range up is essential on a handful of maps but increased atk works better on all the rest. A 11 cost unit that can deal with high armor / mid hp units is very handy.

What does it mean by Eva focus defense and Mitra Max HP and MR?

'Focus defense' means she stops attacking. Max HP and MR are, well, max hit points and magic restist. Those two stats get doubled.

I find the compilation of units used in Majin map a valuable research material ( http://www.ulmf.org/bbs/showpost.php?p=806455&postcount=15929 ). Killing the Majin itself wasn't the hardest part of those maps. Nuking the demons was the main focus point of strategies.

The usage of premium units is not surprising. Those considered most broken were the most used ones. The most commonly used non-premium was unsurprisingly Karma. Other than her all non-premium units were used at most twice. However, this list is worth taking a note of. Those non-premium units are strong enough for someone to find use for them among all the broken blacks in what was without doubt the most difficult map in game so far.

Those units are:
Black: Karma, Metus, Liana
Plat: Sedis, Kagura, Spica, Lian, Faa, Rita

Rita-chan confirmed tier 1 unit. Kagura and Lian are there most likely only due to their passives. Sedis and Spica are known to be premiur-tier for long time now. We should also keep an eye on how Faa fares, but she clearly seems very strong.

What I have also noticed, both during Majin event and some AW-thief runs, is that Aria-chan is more and more often unable to hold her ground. Of course as a sortie factory she still works great. However, a soldier should be able to hold her ground a bit at least. Sadly, on harder maps Aria is often unable to 1v1 a first unit that comes out. I am often forced to deploy units before her, to handle the early rush, and only put her in when things calmed a bit to farm sortie. Later on however, even with healer, she is still unable to handle the 2-3 units she blocked.

Maybe one solution would be to skill AW her or Katie. That however severely limits the sortie farming capabilities. It may also be time to start leveling Lisolette. Either way - gold age of Aria seems to be approaching its end and power creep is finally catching up with her - after two years.

This is star trial event, means you have to count stars you have from completing each map. This event will be also up for 2 weeks. Keep lvling your characters in story mission + fairy rescue for affection items and try event maps in a week.
Purchasing silver angel was a mistake

I wouldn't call it a mistake. I've seen her used in various videos for the past few events and it seems like a useful unit to have access to. I'm aware of how star trials work, that's why I wanted to turn my 1 star on that map into a 3 star, the sooner you get your stars the sooner you can go to other farming. Can probably do it, but I'd rather work on other maps as soon as possible.

Sennen's videos, as far as I know and use, are usually as low as it can get (Unless someone knows where you can get even lower ones then show me too!). Usually you compensate with higher tier units to cover up deficiencies in silvers. If you can't clear it with what you have, then you just go off and level until you do have what you need for it. There's no rush for clearing through it.

There are few - if any - units in the game that are more reliant on skill levels than angels, and they have 10 skill levels. Unless you intend to buy a ton more in an attempt to skill level her, you'd probably have been better off waiting for her to be a silver drop in an event map.

The one video I watched has the skill at level 1 actually.

In addition, getting Eln at some point for 70 magic crystals would be a much better long term investment, assuming you aren't specifically going for Silver clears or lowest possible rarity clears.

All angels share the same pre-AW skill, so the stronger ones can be skilled with Niels.

I told buying this angel was a mistake, not having one. Angels are nice, high dps units but you can get silver angel from free summon, from some completion maps etc etc. And also you can get awesome gold angel for magic crystals.

If you think that doing star maps and then lvl your characters is a lot better strategy than lvl your characters and do event maps more easily thanks to that is a bad idea then I rest my case. Nobody can help you if you dont understand logic.
