Princess Louise gives +17% defence if she's a team member. You don't have to deploy her. The reason I would want to get a second copy is to reduce her cost by 1 and raise her skill to 2/5, so I can feed her rainbow fairies more efficiently to Skill AW her, so she can turn into a magical samurai (3 block and 3 attack), which is as good as it sounds.
You're confusing her for Spirit of Battle Cynthia, who has to be deployed to give all melee units +10% attack and defence (she also raises all melee unit cost when she's deployed).
I also not AW Louise for that reason

I have used AW Louise in some maps and maybe succeded thanks to her.
But, since I never bother to mincost anyone unless its really easy, I'm almost always on +5 unit buff so that kind of ompensate a little.
And since I dont have AW prince, her skill comes in handy sometimes.

Phew close shave. Just managed to fully max cr Sandra with a few last min runs before maintenance.
I know it may be a waste of revival crystals but I like her design and ability so I put in more SCs than usual. I think it took me near 1k revival crystals to max her.
Otoh my progress on black valk is horrible lol. Hoping to see what ability she has before I invest as I already have Clissa. Not sure if it is a good idea to get her

The subjugation mission has 23 lines of dialogue, and the second phase has 83 lines for a total of 106.
The last couple second phase maps were quite easy compared to the battle with the Dracolich during the item trial for Metus. I only need to spend 8~ SC on the god-tier one if I get 2 souls per stamina. Shame that Lesia's AW skill sounds like it's going to be garbage unless they really, really increase her attack speed so it's comparable to a monk with Rush!.
