There is 9 more days left in the month. There is no way he can recover from the flu, let the 2 testers finish and document everything, finish writing, music, and leftover bug test in the next 9 days.

My original guess was March and if anything it seems the most reasonable unless he wants to add more shit in which we may not get it until Summer.

Yeah, he is giving it to two of his mates who help with development. That's an alpha version. By his own words, he still needs to add more content. I would be surprised if the game gets released before May. But it might indeed be there before early Summer, which is still better than my 2017 estimate.

I really like that he releases everything for free and even supports people who mod his games.

I expected his patreon earnings to go down but apparently he still gets close to 10000 each month!
That is really suprising because he only asks for 1 dollar per patreon and even says that his friends should have a higher priority.

He can afford to be generous when he's making six figures off making ~1 porn game per year.

I bet there's a lot of small adult video game companies that would kill to have an income-to-effort ratio like that. ;)

Not mad at him btw. I've never pledged a cent to him and I don't care about the people who are upset over the delay. I have to admire him for doing so well for himself. Someone had to be the one to expose the flaw in how Patreon works by making a fortune for relatively little work. Might as well be him as anyone else. So good for him! ^_^

Edit: anyone have any idea why one of the low-rank titles is "jungle girl"? Is it a reference to an anime or other porno I'm unaware of? Given the nature of ULMF, "la blue girl" would seem more appropriate...

LMAO. Man, I completely forgot about that old thing. Thanks for the reminder, playing it again was a hoot. Was that game the genesis for that whole sub-genre of "walk along, dodge things, get H scenes for "failing"? Boy are those ever lame. You shouldn't get H scenes for failing, you should get them for winning.

Is there a correlation between "line marvel" as mentioned in the game, and the name of this forum? Yes, I'm a total newb around this site. :p

When I try to go full screen in Witch Trainer Silver 1.04, it seems like it trys to, but it just ends up going to the left top corner of my screen and stays there. Is that common ? Any idea of a fix ? Monitor is running at 1920x1080 on Windows 7.

Any known fix for Hermione's character graphic staying in the room after petting the bird ? I know its a known issue, but maybe theres a temp fix at least ?

^ Tried alt+enter instead of the "full screen button on the top-right of the window" ? That thing with [drop to taskbar/full screen/close].

As for silver edition, it's a beta of a buggy mod built on an unstable Ren'py game with a mountain of useless code. Crap happening is expected and it will bug out everytime they try something new. Either [ignore error] and continue/unpack the archive, search the trillions of useless junk in there and possibly find the bug/wait for a new version to fix it [or someone else]/pray to RNGesus the new PT:G actually comes out before June and play that instead/whatever else you might find like doing.

Tried alt+enter. It just did the same thing the ingame option to change to fullscreen did. I'll just stick with windowed mode I guess.

Actually the guy is a proof that Patreon works well.
The traditional model is developing a game and then selling it. This requires a broad market, because you cannot ask too much for a small game.
There are few deviations of that model, with Kickstarter and whatnot, but at it's core the idea is the same - you sell, people buy.
Patreon gives you the option to support an artist regardless of his productivity. It's done on your own volition and without expecting something other than what the artist promises. And if he happens to fail on that promise, you're free to leave at any time.

The guy is doing almost nothing for more than a year and his supporters are still there, happy to pledge for the very little he delivers.
With the traditional model he would've been dead and gone by now.
Now he's still working and may as well deliver a product, both for people who supported him financially and for those who weren't willing to do so.

Pretty much this. I don't freaking understand the people who keep complaining and being jealous of how much money Akabur is being thrown for "seemingly doing very little", and yet they get a free game out of it.
What more would you want, more misery? Like we don't have enough of that in this world... :)

I know PT:G is coming out, but is there any news about WT mods being updated or worked on? Since the Russian mod that translated everything to English, there really hasn't been any updates. Anyone know whether there are more updates coming or other mods to WT? That game definitely had the most potential.
