Thera looked out into the darkness her eyes and ears straining to pick up the slightest hint of movement or echo of noise. Soon enough her diligence was rewarded as a large creature dislodged itself from a nearby tree. It wasn't a wolf that was for sure. It was Thera's call if she went to investigate or call for help.

"I'll just take a look, then yell for help. I think they will come right after the yell... at least i hope they do it..." Using all her stealth, Thera enter the woods to follow the creature and verify it's 'level of dangerousness'. She knew it would be one of the list's creatures, so she will get easy to not harm it unnecessarly. Maybe she was just bored, again, right after fapping that guy seconds before; and she meant it when she said she will come back for more. "Come on, i don't have all the night..."

Thera moved into the woods her armor creaking and scraping along unseen branches. Her attempts to be silent where admirable but in the end she could sense that she had been spotted or at lest heard. Looking about Thera saw her prey. It was a giant hornet its carapace glinting in the moonlight. The creature was looking right at her but hadn't made a move. Thera had a few brife moments before the creature realized it had been spotted.

"I don't have the time, now!" Rushing to the monster, Thera goes on a Charge trying to incapacitate the monster without killing it, using the flat side of her Halberd. "If i can't do anything now, i'll call for help right after this hit...!"

Thera is paralyzed "Paralyzed: The character is unable to take any action during their turn unless they succeed at a Resistance check against a DC of 30. The character takes a -4 penalty to non-damage non-Resistance rolls, to Speed, and to Dodge for each instance of this effect. A character can have multiple instances of this status, and every instance increases the DC of the check to resist losing their action by 10. When this check becomes impossible for the character to win, they are considered Helpless but are not knocked unconscious."

Thera leaped into action fast enough to get her strike in. The flat of her blade nailed the creature in the head causing it to stagger to the side and fall of the tree it was on. Sadly however it didn't down it for the count. The massive insect rolled to its feet and launched its self at Thera bashing into her as its stinger found a weakness in her armor. The sound of bending metal and the searing pain of being stabbed caused Thera to cry out in pain and back off from the bug. Looking down Thera saw the wound wasn't deep her armor having absorbed much of the impact the worrying thing was the ichor that seemed to stain the wound. It radiated a numbness that was quickly moving threw her body soon enough her legs felt like Jelly and she fell to the ground unable to move.

"Damn bug! Help, help!" Thera starts yelling, but her strength isn't building up, instead it is running from her body. She don't know what to do now: if she kills the bug she will get scolded and her share would be shortened and her reputation with Ann would be stained. She decides to crawl until she gets out of there, using her arms if needed (as they are now). "Ok, do what you want, then leave!"

Thera threw sheer will power managed to push threw the paralytic poison and call out for help as she struggled back to her feet staggering away from the giant hornet. She didn't get far however as the creature was soon ontop of her again. Once more she felt the stabbing pain of the creatures stinger as it forced its way threw her armor dropping her to the ground once more as more of the vile creatures poison flooded her system.

"Damn!" Struggling for her life, Thera tries to shrug off the insect with her arms, and to flee from there. Things started to get ugly, and that wasn't Thera's time to die, as she always said.

Thera tried to push the giant bug away but her arms felt like dead weights. Still the Crolian woman with shear will power managed to push the insect aside and struggle to her feet once more. The hornet quickly caught her this time knocking her to the cround and positioning itself on top of Thera its strong prickly legs ensuring its prey wouldn't move. Calling out for help Thera felt a warm sticky organ slap against her backside Oh Gods what was this thing going to do to her.

More fighting and more screaming after, Thera give up and wait for the monster to go with his plan and do what it wanted from the start. She was prone and face down, paralyzed and dissatisfied with this outcome, but... somethings should happen sooner or latter. "If you aren't on the list, you damn bug, i'll kill you with pleasure..." She still screams to the crew if she had time, or strength, to do so. "Ann will hate me, for sure..."

Thera caught her breath but still felt the burning poison in her blood. It made almost every move a struggle so getting away would be near impossible not to mention her belly was swollen with the hornets eggs. Out of the corner of her eye however Thera saw the giant insect recover and move over to her again its sticky ovipositor gleaming in the moon light. The bug was coming back for seconds. It wasn't encouraging news but at lest Thera was safe for the moment. Getting helped up by Ann Thera made her way towards the camp at a slow pace the poision as well as the eggs slowing her down.

The trip back was slow going at first but eventually the poison wore off and Thera managed to move with a little less help from Ann but she was still full of eggs. The first one to meet them back at camp was the Warden who looked at Thera shaking his head. "I guess that is one way to get them. Boys move her to one of the cots well have to get to base camp before we can remove them." Ann sat next to Thera for the rest of the evening only leaving to get some warmer cloths on. "Are you going to be okay Thera?" Ann didn't sound upset more concerned which was good as it sounded like Ann still had respect for her.
