It hadn't been how she'd wanted things to go, but Annaria recognized that she didn't have any choice in the matter. When the doors of the monastery had shut behind her, she'd faced an uncertain future. The White Fangs had taken her in. Mercenaries, men and women who took coin in exchange for spilling the blood of others. These were her comrades now. This was her life now.

Ever since she'd left the monastery, she hadn't used her powers. Not even once. Looking up at what had just Arrived in Celesis, she thought that she might not have an option but to use them all to soon.

They had been on a break, so to speak, when Annaria had joined them. The leader of the White Fangs, a person named Sithis who covered their entire body in cloth and whom no one truly knew if they were man or woman, had finally found them work. That day, they'd been preparing to exit Celesis and make for the deep jungle to hunt down some band of shadowy monsters that had been attacking travelers recently. Annaria, having no possessions other than her dress and the payment she'd been advanced, had been helping others to pack. They had been in an open air tavern, which worked out fine since the weather in Celesis was controlled by magic to ensure that it never rained on the city, so they had an unobstructed view of the monstrosity that had appeared above the city.

It was huge, large as a mountain, and it floated in the sky, blotting out the mid-morning sun. Its surface gray, and appeared fleshy, and thousands of tentacles spread out form its body, some of them larger than most of the buildings in the ancient stone city. From it, thousands of tiny dots were falling like heavy rain onto Celesis.

Before Annaria and her mercenary brethren could wonder what that creature might be, and why it had so suddenly appeared above them, when something heavy landed with and earth shaking thud directly in front of her. It was a gray lump, and at first she thought it was completely round, but then it began to straighten. A humanoid shape, with arms, legs and an eyeless head, rose to its full twelve foot height in front of the monk. It was heavily muscled, flesh writhing visibly beneath its mottled gray skin. It turned its featureless head down toward Annaria, who stood only ten feet away form it, and opened a maw filled with razor sharp teeth that appeared on its face out of nowhere, and screamed at her. The sound was deafening, like the high pitched whine of something moving incredibly fast, and backed by the deep rumble of an earthquake. Similar cries, as well as cries of terror and anger issued all around her, as if set of by that of the abomination before her. Her companions went for their weapons as the creature prepared to charge at her, and more and more gray objects dropped down form the sky.

Re: Annaria (xivvix)

It may not be the life she wanted, but Anaria knew that no matter where a person may be, their actions might change the world for the better. The mercenaries she agreed to travel with may be bloodthirsty monsters, but perhaps, with her help, they could become more. As she thought of how she might spread the order's teachings to these unfortunate souls, she smiles at the mercenary whose belongings she had been helping to pack. He returned the smile, though the way his eyes traveled over her body revealed that it was more than gratitude that spurred it on. It didn't bother Anaria, indeed she had seen that same look grace the face of almost every man and woman in the monastery at some point, though she still felt it necessary to move away, lest he get the wrong idea about her intentions.

Stepping further out into the open air tavern, Anaria smiled at the clear sky above the city. It may be magically altered, but she still sighed happily, feeling as if the clear sky mirrored how clear and bright her future could be. Just as that thought crossed her mind, the sun was blotted out. A huge mass of flesh hung in the air, tentacles waving to and fro, while tiny specks fell from it like a dark rain. She stared as one of the specks grew larger and larger in her vision, until it was no longer a speck, but a mass hurtling towards her. If it hadn't been for her training, she would have died on the spot, but a leap backwards saved her life, bringing her skidding to a stop a mere ten feet from the object.

Breathing raggedly at her near death, Anaria merely watched as the object unfolded into a humanoid creature. Her eyes widened as she took in it's form and as it announced it's presence with vicious teeth and a shriek so loud it hurt her sensitive elven ears. As it turned towards her and moved into an aggressive posture, Anaria reflexively adopts a defensive stance. The creature is huge, and looks poised to attack, but her training screamed at the young monk that she could not simply lash out due to the circumstances.

"Please calm yourself," she said, speaking loudly to the monstrosity, unsure if it could understand or even hear her. "I don't know your intentions, but I can assure you that we will defend ourselves if you force us to." Her attention remained fixed on the creature before her, so she could only assume that the mercenaries behind her were preparing to fight it just as she had. Perhaps a diplomatic approach could save not only their lives, but the life of this unknown life before her.

The creature responded to Annarias words with another ear-splitting scream, this one filled with blind rage. It thundered forward and swung a clumsy punch at Annaria, completely missing her as she nimbly stepped out of the way. Around her, the mercenaries began drawing weapons, but more creatures dropped out of the sky into their midst, keeping them from coming to her aid against this monstrosity immediately. As she faced the gray juggernaut, she spotted out of the corner of her eye another gray monster, this one three feet tall, headless and limbless save for waving tentacles and a quartet of pencil-thin legs, coming into the room, approaching the man she'd been helping pack earlier from behind.

Re: Annaria (xivvix)

As Anaria had suspected, the creature had either no ability or no intention of responding peacefully. As it lumbered towards her, screaming incoherently, she grit her teeth as she realized she would have to use force to defeat it and prevent it from harming those around her, something she had slowly had to become used to after her exile from the temple. With a swift but strong push from her legs she leaps backwards into the air, spinning over backwards as the creatures claws rake clumsily at where she had just been standing. She landed in a crouch, staring up at the monster as she breathed out heavily in determination. "I'm afraid you leave us no choice." she says grimly as she straightens up.

Unfortunately, the others she had expected to rush to her aid had quickly become occupied with their own dangers. With quick glances around the area, it didn't take Anaria long to realize that her new comrades could offer no help to her in this fight. As she thought this, she noticed in a sidelong glance that the man she had been assisting not a minute before was threatened by a foe he did not see. "Behind you!," she yelled at him, not even having known him long enough to know his name, one hand pointing at the strange creature sneaking up on him.

It was all she had time to do before another pain inducing screech sounded in front of her, signaling that the creature before her would soon resume it's attack. Turning back to face it, Anaria looked up again at the massive creature, resignation causing her to grit her teeth. Though she knew that she may someday need to call on the powers she had developed that had become at once both a blessing and a curse to her, it still seemed too soon that she should have to. Regardless, Anaria returned the creature's scream with one of her own as she channeled her spiritual energy into her muscles, giving her the strength she would need to face the behemoth.

(Use Battle Aura: 5. 10 energy to activate, 5 per turn to maintain. +15 to melee damage, to-hit, speed, and dodge)

Ouch

Annaria doesn't have time to see whether or not her warning is effective, as she is quickly made busy as soon as she brings up her inner power, which manifested in a soft glow around her body. The creature, still screaming over her battle cry, charges her. Annaria is caught off guard by its incredible speed, however, and before she can avoid it, a single massive fist slams into her midsection, sending her tumbling back and away. When she comes to a halt, heaving for breath, several feet away, the thing is already rushing toward her again. Her dress had a few tears on it, and she could still barely draw in breath, but she could still move, and her power still coursed through her, giving her strength.

Re: Annaria (xivvix)

Having trained in hand to hand combat for some time in the monastery, Anaria was expecting the attack that the creature sent her way. What she did not expect, however, was how fast and how powerful the attack would be. Even with her spiritual power enhancing her body and dulling her nerves to pain, the blow sent her tumbling back, gasping for breath. With a hand on her stomach she coughs and sputters, her body reacting naturally to the attack. Her mind, though, worked to plan out her response, and by the time she leapt back to her feet and resumed her fighting stance, she already knew how to finish the beast off.

Ducking low, Anaria spread her arms out, then dashed forward. She kept herself low, her profile as small as possible. Rather than attack head-on, though, she used the creature's size against it, dashing between it's legs, then leaping up into the air. Her spiritually enhanced muscles are so strong that she is sent soaring over the creature's head, her body spinning in a backflip. As she begins to descend back in front of the monster, she brings a knee up into it's almost featureless face. The blow is powerful, but the energy behind is intended more to disorient a foe then simply cause damage. The attack sends her into another flip, and when she finishes, she lands right before the creature, back in her fighting position, as if nothing had happened.

(Use Stunning Blow. -10 to-hit and damage, but causes stun. Maintain Battle Aura)

Annarias maneuver goes off without a hitch, the creature grabbing ineffectually at her as she rushed between its legs. Her knee struck it perfectly in the face, and the gray beast stumbled back a step, giving her the time she needed to land and take a moments look around. The mercenaries were being overwhelmed as more and more gray creatures fell from the sky, as well as filtering in from the streets outside. She couldn't see the man she'd tried to warn amidst the chaos, but she could see a woman being hoisted off of her feet, slimy appendages wriggling beneath her clothing. There was no one else close enough to her to aid her before the creature holding her got to work, but if she took the time to help the girl, the massive beast would have time to recover, which might put all of them in danger.

Re: Annaria (xivvix)

A smile crept across Anaria's face as her training allowed her to flawlessly execute the acrobatic attack. With the creature stumbling backward in pain, she took a moment to assess the rest of the battle, but was dismayed at what she saw. The strange creatures seemed to be multiplying without end, and her new comrades were barely holding their ground as is. She had heard stories of demonic entities forcing their lust upon women, but to see it in person was shocking. For a second she began to turn to the woman, a woman she had only met a few hours ago but still a person in need of help, before her discipline forced her to take accurate stock of the situation.

The small, tentacled creatures, though seemingly powerful, numerous, and lecherous were being held off by the seasoned mercenaries around her. The monstrosity she fought, however, was a force to be reckoned with, and not to be ignored. If she turned her back on it, the battle may quickly become a lost cause. And what of the citizens of Celesis outside of the small tavern? They were in need of help as well. Endangering all of them to spare one woman a moment of discomfort was simply unacceptable to the monk. With her muscles tightening with resolve, she turns to look back through narrowed eyes at the huge creature as it fought to regain it's footing.

In less than a heartbeat, Anaria's enhanced muscles sent her hurtling towards the giant, faster than an arrow from the strongest bow. Just before she collided with the monster, Anaria planted her lead foot on the ground and struck out with a fist at the creature's midsection. Years of training had drilled this attack into her mind and her muscles, to the point that she finished it by instinct. As the force of her punch slammed into the monster's stomach, it's chest and head would fall forward. Before it could even gasp out in shock, Anaria's body was twirling in a spin with her back towards the creature. Her abnormally strong muscles, combined with the momentum from the spin, sent her foot flying vertically into the creature's chin, a blow powerful enough to shatter the thickest of bones, as she bent forward, almost touching the ground. Once again, the night elf's body flipped in the air barely a foot above the ground as her one planted foot left the ground, until she landed in her perfectly balanced fighting stance once more.

(Attack the large creature. Hope I described that attack well enough, cause it looks epic in my mind ;) )

Rolls
Attack (Annaria): Hit.
Damage: 4 + 2 + 21 - 12 + 15 + 10(epic) = 40 damage.
Attack (Enemy): Hit.
Damage: 1 + 25 - 1 = 25/2 (epic save) = 13 damage. Armor at 0/25 TP.
Didn't want to KO you after that. No more mr nice guy after this though.

Annarias perfectly timed ad executed attack once more went off without a hitch, her powerful initial blow to the midsection doubling it over, while her second hit slammed into its chin, sending its head flying up and forcing it backwards a step. Her supernatural power flowing through her, and her stance once more defensive, Annaria believed the fight to be in the bag. Which was why she was surprised when the creature backhanded her across the room. With a crash of wood she went right through the wall of the tavern, the impact causing her to black out.

She came to only seconds later, however, her vision fuzzy as the sounds of combat filtered in past the ringing in her ears. She ached all over, and could barely breath, and a part of her wanted to sink back down into the peaceful blackness of unconsciousness and simply let go. Another, much stronger part of her demanded that she rise, however, and with a groan of pain Annaria forced her body to move, tilting her head upwards. As her vision cleared, she noticed that she had been sent through the wall that bordered the street, and that more slimy gray monsters were running amok, grabbing people and doing battle with anyone who put up any sort of resistance. Sitting up and looking back into the tavern, she could see that the battle for the mercenaries was not going well. Most of the women in their group were naked, and hoisted up into the air as multiple tendrils plowing into all of their holes. The men were fighting admirably, but Annaria couldn't find half of them among the chaos, and those that were still fighting were being slowly picked apart as waves of slimy creatures landed. The massive beast she'd been fighting lifted one up as she watched, and hurled him out of the tavern just as it has her. The rest were backing away from it, shouting things she couldn't understand through the ever-present ringing in her ears.

Knowing that if she laid there, she would be captured or killed, as would all of her companions, Annaria forced herself to her feet. As she moved, she could feel that her souls power still flowed through her just as before, granting her strength despite her numerous injuries. Unfortunately, as she stood up, her dress caught on something, and tore right off of her before she could catch herself. Now, standing completely nude, and with two dozen tentacle monsters along with the juggernaut she'd been fighting, against only her and her half dozen remaining allies, things were looking grim indeed.

Re: Annaria (xivvix)

(This thing is a lot stronger than I thought it would be. I thought it was a Turned but I guess it's a Juggernaut)

In all her years of training, and the few instances in which she had to put into practice, Anaria had never had cause to doubt the effectiveness of her attacks. The strike she had planted to the chin of the monstrosity before her would have killed ten human men. So sure of her prowess was she that she calmly closed her eyes and took a breath to calm her nerves as she always did after dispatching an opponent. Alas, the saying is true, pride comes before a fall. Or being thrown through a wall.

Luckily for Anaria, the impact only causes her to black out briefly. She comes to groggily, unsure at first what had happened, until a quick shake of her head cleared her mind enough to grasp just how desperate the situation was coming. Waves upon waves of creatures continued to appear, having their disgusting way with the women while the men struggled to simply survive moment by moment. There seemed to be no hope for the mercenaries in the tavern, or the citizens on the street. But even with the situation quickly growing worse by the second, Anaria knew that she could not, would not, leave the people who had accepted her into their company, even if only for less than a day. With grim determination, she stood, knowing what she must do.

Anaria's injury addled mind at first didn't recognize the strange ripping sound that came as she stood, but the sudden breeze against her skin caused her to glance down. For the quickest of moments, she blushed at her nudity, memories of how the celibacy sworn monks of the temple had always reacted to her body flooding into her mind. The danger of her situation, compounded by how the strange invaders were treating the other women around her, however, convinced Anaria that now was not the time to worry about such things. Planting her feet firmly, Anaria prepares herself to destroy the monstrosity before her.

Though the area around her is a scene of chaos and calamity, Anaria works to calm herself. She controls her breathing, making it as even and deliberate as possible, while she smoothly moves her body through the rhythmic motions taught as a form of discipline to all monks. Once she has found her center, she can feel every part of her body: her muscles, flooded with power, but sore from injury; her heart racing with excitement but slowing as she works to calm herself; her spirit, flaring like a fire from seeing so much use after being kept dormant for so long. As she swings her arms around her body, Anaria imagines herself grasping her spirit before compressing it between her hands. Then, she cups her hands together and pushes them outward, giving her spirit an outlet to rush forward from. Like water breaking free from a dam, her spiritual energy shoots from her hands towards the monstrosity, the power behind it sending ripples through the air of the tavern.

(Use Energy Blast 13 on the monster. Maintain Battle Aura. If possible, drop 10 to-hit for dodge during this turn)

(Aye, a juggernaut it is. A regular Turned wouldn't have lasted this long.)

Rolls
Attack (Annaria): Hit.
Damage: 6 + 6 = 12 x 13 = 156 - 12 = 144 damage.
And you roll max damage.

Annarias aura rises slowly as she gathers her energies, the massive creature she'd been fighting preparing to hammer through the massed mercenaries even as she prepared to attack. Her hands clasp in front of her as its fist rises into the air, but before it can deliver any blow, she pushes her energies toward it. Her power rushed out of her, hitting the creature directly in the back in a wave that sizzled the creatures gray flesh. The beast screamed as its entire body became blistered and blackened, roasting alive within just a few seconds. The mercenaries watched in mixed horror and amazement as it burned down to its bones, and then collapsed in front of them. The rest of the creatures didn't seem to notice, unfortunately, and tow more mercenaries were grabbed up by tentacled creatures, the men struggling as the slimy gray creatures started dragging them away form the group. There were still a dozen enemies in the tavern, but now that the large one was gone, they might have a fighting chance. If they could get organized before more creatures dropped form the sky, Annaria knew that they would stand a much better chance of making it through the day alive.

She didn't know where Sithis, the mercenary commander was, but their unusual leader was clearly not among those in the group fighting in the tavern. She seemed to recall that the officers had gone to meet with the one that had been offering them a contract, somewhere in or near the royal palace.

(6 exp for you! Though the fight isn't over yet.)

Re: Annaria (xivvix)

(Lol, of course I get max damage when I deliberately overdo the spell to try to make sure the creature dies ;))

As the creature falls, so to does Anaria, though it was only down to one knee. Expending so much energy was tiring, even though she had trained for so long to withstand draining her spirit. She gulps in air for a few seconds, before rising and running back into the tavern. "No time to gawk, help the others!" she yells to the mercenaries that were standing around staring, either at the fallen form of the monster, or at her own revealed body. She was much too invested at the battle at hand to take offense if any looked, and with her spiritual power draining quickly, she could feel the familiar but long absent need growing again.

With Sithis and the other officers unavailable, someone had to do something. There were many of the mercenaries here, but they were so unorganized that only with a leader would they win through the day. Though she was unused to taking command, the needs of the men and women struggling with the tentacled creatures spurred Anaria on to take the initiative. "Save who you can!," she commanded, pointing out the men being dragged away, before turning to the unfortunate women who were being ravaged as she spoke. "Everyone we help is another who can rejoin the fight!"

Without saying another word, Anaria reverts into her combat stance and then charges towards one of the tentacled fiends that was busy assaulting a female mercenary. With a loud yell to focus herself, she launches a strong punch at it's midsection, trying to keep her eyes from straying to what it was doing to the woman, lest her demonic heritage begin to exert it's influence on her. If luck was with her and the White Fangs, they could dispatch the monstrous things before her urges became to great, and then hopefully find Sithis.

(Attack one of the tentacle creatures. Maintain Battle Aura. Drop 5 to-hit for dodge)

Re: Annaria (xivvix)

HP = 6/47, PP = 43, EP = 35/78, Status = Battle Aura 5, Badly Injured

Rolls
Attack (Annaria): Hit.
Damage: 4 + 2 + 21 + 15 = 42 damage.
Attack (T6): Miss.
Attack (T7): Hit. Right on the dot too.
Annaria has been grappled.
Aphrodisiac: 5. Annaria is at 16/21 Resistance.
Number of tentacle monsters killed by mercenaries: 1
Number of mercenaries grabbed: 1

Annarias punch sinks into the gray creatures soft flesh, the force of it almost sending the spindly-legged monster tumbling. Its tendrils are waving with significantly less enthusiasm now, though it continues to plow desperately into the woman it is holding in its clutches, droplets white goo raining down onto Annaria from out of her ravaged holes. The remaining mercenaries who continued to fight, six men in all, manage to cut down one of the creatures, but one of them is pulled out of the ranks in the process. Unfortunately, two of the creatures that weren't busy molesting someone noticed Annaria, and as she prepared the finishing blow against the one she had wounded, she feels slimy appendages touching her body. She swiftly pulled away form it only to feel another set of them grab onto her, and these she was unable to pull away from before they got a good grip.

Several long slimy tendrils wrapped around her thighs, praying them apart, while two more grabbed her wrists and started pulling them behind her back, trying to restrain her completely. Despite her revulsion at the creatures touch, as the slime seeped into her skin, she felt the familiar warmth of arousal starting in her nether regions, and her nipples immediately stiffened to points, practically begging to be touched. With a start, she felt something pressed against her lower lips, something wet and warm, and ready to slide up into her womanhood without a second thought if she didn't pull away from it immediately. Her body was exhausted after the fight against the larger creature, and the idea of passing into unconsciousness as blissful pleasure burned all cares from her mind was doubly tempting thanks to the aphrodisiacs pumping through her body. Her will wasn't gone yet, however, and she could still move her arms, and try to pull her legs from the creatures slimy grasp.

(Let me know if I'm not consistent on the numbers for the mercs. I wasn't sure and was too lazy to be absolute on it, as I don't remember if I said how many were still up before now.)

Re: Annaria (xivvix)

(No I don't think you ever told me how many people were in the tavern.)

As Anaria's fist slams into the small creature, her mouth curls in disgust, both at the feel of it's strange flesh, and at the drops of white liquid spilling onto her from above. At the same time, though, the feel of the goo landing on her skin sent a shiver down her spine as her body began to respond. The momentary lapse of concentration allowed a pair of the creatures to advance on the night elf, allowing one to grab her before she could pull away.

"No!" she yelled as her legs and arms were pulled by the slimy appendages. And yet, as she struggled, she could feel her body responding to their touch. It didn't take her long to realize that the stimulation was unnatural though, as even in the height of her spirit-driven urges, she had never felt her body begin to respond so quickly and eagerly. If she didn't free herself soon, she could tell that she would lose all ability to fight back, the creatures strange influence driving her to seek pleasure. "K-keep fighting!" she yelled, both to the mercenaries, and to herself.

Although Anaria had quickly taken to learning the various physical and spiritual attacks that the monks at the temple had studied, she had never been able to master the art of grappling. Every time she had attempted to practice the techniques to escape grapples, her sparring partner or her teacher had become overwhelmed by lust, forgetting the lesson almost immediately in favor of running their hands along her body. With the situation she was in now, Anaria suddenly realized just how unfortunate that had been.

Gritting her teeth, Anaria fights back against her natural instinct to struggle against the tentacles holding her. Her inexperience would never allow her to escape, so she would have to do something else. Attempting to calm herself, she concentrates on her spiritual energy once again, then sends it hurtling towards the creature holding her, hoping to destroy it as she had the larger monster.

(Use Energy Blast 8 on the creature holding her. Maintain Battle Aura)

Re: Annaria (xivvix)

HP = 1/47, PP = 20/43, EP = 34/78, Status = Battle Aura 5, Grappled, Penetrated, Badly Injured

Rolls
Attack (Annaria): Hit.
Damage: 1 + 3 = 4 x 8 = 32 damage.
Grapple: Enemy wins. Annaria has been penetrated.
Aphrodisiac: 5. Annaria is at 14/21 Resistance.
Pleasure (Annaria): 4 + 1 + 20 + 8 + 4 - 14 = 23 PP.
Pleasure (T7): 9 + 4 + 10 - 14 = 9 PP.
Damage: 5.
Number of tentacle monsters killed by mercenaries: 3, 8 remain.
Number of mercenaries grabbed: 1, 4 remain.

Annarias blast of energy strikes the creature squarely, but perhaps due to her exhaustion, or because she was unable to concentrate properly because of its poisonous touch, she only wounded it. Unfortunately, she also couldn't prevent it from sliding its tendril up into her womanhood, sending a paralyzing shock of pleasure up the half-demons spine. Its aphrodisiac slime only magnified the sensation of the tentacle writhing around inside of her honey pot, and even if it hadn't been covered in the slippery substance the tentacle would have found Annaria already lubricated for it. The featureless gray creatures other tendrils writhed against her bare skin while the one buried in her mound forced itself in and out, going deeper with every movement, but with the excitement brought on by the pleasure she began to feel her spiritual energy flaring with renewed strength. Her exhaustion very nearly caught up with her then, however, and the idea of surrendering to the blackness was undeniably appealing, even though she managed to stave it off for another few seconds. If she didn't get away from it within the next few seconds, however.....

Meanwhile, the mercenaries managed to cut down another three of the creatures assaulting them, while another of their number was dragged away from their defensive circle. The man kicked and screamed as the tentacled creature pulled him away from his comrades, and toward the taverns exit. Several other creatures were heading that way with their captives.

(Your rolls are horrible. Fix it. Also, I feel bad because your posts are long and detailed, while mine always end up being kind of meh.)

Re: Annaria (xivvix)

(The dice are paying me back for having mostly good rolls with Elea XD. I feel the same way when I'm RPing sometime, but I have the luxury of not GMing for 15 other people ;))

Gritting her teeth as the creature's slimy tendrils wandered over her body and pressed against her nether, Anaria gave a slight whimper as she directed her energy at the thing's body. At that very moment, however, the creature pressed it's appendage inside of her, causing her to tense in shock, and throwing her aim off. She cries out in horror as it begins to thrust into her, even as her spiritual energy burns into it's side.

Even as she resisted the creature's incessant plumbing into her depths, Anaria couldn't help but be amazed at the feelings it stirred within her. It had been so long since she had indulged in her demonically influenced desires, and it's strange otherworldly form somehow felt right against and inside her. Without even wanting to she began to pant and moan in pleasure as it worked it's lewd will upon her.

As her body heated up from the stimulation, so too did Anaria's spirit, reacting to the pleasure coursing through her. The combination of the intense pleasure and the reinvigoration she felt driving her to fight against the weakness and coming unconsciousness from the wounds she had suffered so far, Drawing upon her spirit once more, she focused on the heat in her body, the fire raging deep within her, and willed it to manifest as true fire, wreathed around her body and spilling down onto the creature holding her.

(Use Pyrokinesis 5, Maintain Battle Aura. This fight is getting incredibly close.)

Re: Annaria (xivvix)

HP = 1/47, PP = 20/43, EP = 21/78, Status = Battle Aura 5, Badly Injured

Rolls
Damage: 3 + 6 = 9 x 5 = 45 damage. You lucky bastard.
Number of tentacle monsters killed by mercenaries: 2, 3 remain.
Number of mercenaries grabbed: 0, 6 remain.

Annarias burst of metaphysical flames not only destroys the creature next to her, but two of its fellows who'd been trying to get through the door with captives in tow. The mercenaries fell to the ground, untouched by her psionic flames, and Annaria stumbled quickly to her feet to take stock of the situation. All of the monsters that had been up and fighting were dead, as the last three had been slain by her comrades in arms, while the two men who'd been freed by her burst stood shakily to their feet, eying her strangely for a moment before rejoining the fight. That left only three in the tavern itself, all of them heading for the door with women clutched in their slimy boneless arms. Her burst of fire seemed to have consumed all of the energy she'd gained from the alien appendage that had only moments ago been plumbing her depths, but as she could barely keep her eyes open, Annaria should be thankful that she'd gotten rid of it when she did, else she would have passed out completely.

Re: Annaria (xivvix)

Dazed, Anaria only stood dumbly for a moment, letting the men stare at her as she came to her senses. A hand came to her head as a wave of dizziness passed over her before she shook her head to clear it. She looked at the three creatures trying to flee the scene with their captives, before shouting "Don't let them get away!" Grunting in exertion, Anaria channels her spiritual energy again, spreading her arms wide before sweeping them low to the ground and then up. Concentrating, she wills a wall of flames to sprouting up in front of the spindly legged creatures to block their escape, tall enough to cover the slimy things, but hopefully not harm their captives.

(Pyrokinesis 5 in front of the the grabbers [or on them], maintain battle aura)

Re: Annaria (xivvix)

HP = 1/47, PP = 20/43, EP = 8/78, Status = Battle Aura 5, Badly Injured, Low Energy

Rolls
Number of tentacle monsters killed by mercenaries: 3, 0 remain.
Number of mercenaries grabbed: 0, 9 remain.
Gain 8 exp.

Anarrias wall of flames appear in front of one of the creatures, and the headless creature must somehow detect it as it halts in its tracks, its captive squirming in its slimy grasp. The train of tentacled creatures comes to a halt, and the mercenaries quickly cut down all three of them. The captives are released from the monsters holding them, the two women lying still on the ground, nude and covered in fluids, while the man pulls himself to his feet, his clothes disheveled but intact. The mercenaries are now free of their foes, though their numbers are far fewer than they had been before. Unfortunately, more creatures were still raining down from the massive one above, and not only did Annaria feel weak from her numerous wounds, but her energy had dwindled down to almost nothing, leaving her both exhausted and horny, neither of which were helped by the poisons still flowing through her system.

The mercenaries collected their own, putting the raped women onto beds, while the rest of them cleaned and prepared their equipment or examined the dead creatures. All of the officers were gone save for one, the man Annaria had been helping pack before all of this happened, and he was only a Sargent. He turned to her as soon as the wounded were seen to, pointedly keeping his eyes at her face, and said; "Well, that was impressive. It might have been helpful to know what you could do before now, but I suppose that conversation can wait for another time. How much experience do you have? You must have seen some combat before now, who was it with? And, do you know anything more about those... Things, than I do? I've never seen anything like them."

Re: Annaria (xivvix)

As soon as the creatures were slain and the captives rescued, Anaria released the energies she had been using to enhance her body and control the flames. Her spirit relaxes in much the same way a muscle does after being strained, suddenly leaving the elf-demon exhausted. Her shoulders sagged and her legs weakened as she watched the mercenaries tend to their fellows. When the sergeant came to talk to her, the elf-demon was on the verge of collapse, but her training in the temple bade her remain attentive to her superior.

"I'm sorry, sir," she says, not bothering to cover her nudity due to her exhaustion, "I had hoped not to have to use my powers. They leave me... drained." As she thought about how much energy she had drained, and how horny she was now feeling, Anaria felt her eyes sweeping over the mans body unintentionally. "I was trained in the Temple of the White Lotus. I am a mere novice in combat, and I know nothing about those monsters."

Though she had wanted to remain calm and steady before her superior, Anaria's wounds and spiritual exhaustion was too much, and she fell forward. As her body pressed up against the man, she grabbed his shoulders for support. "I'm sorry, sir," she apologized again, looking up at him. As her bare breasts pressed against him, she felt her body's urges fighting against her fatigue. "S-sir, I am so tired, but we are in so much danger." She leaned against him, eyelids heavy, but struggled to keep herself awake. "I may be able to contact Sithis, but as I am now, it will be taxing. What should we do, sir?"
