Another RP Concept: FMA meets Zombie Apocalypse

Re: Another RP Concept: FMA meets Zombie Apocalypse

Hellfire Alchemist... Cool.

Re: Another RP Concept: FMA meets Zombie Apocalypse

Also, I'm guessing you've chosen Transmutation and Healing Art's because of the Deconstruction Alchemy that can be gotten once you've mastered both tree's?

Re: Another RP Concept: FMA meets Zombie Apocalypse

Yeah, if I can eventually learn it, that would be cool. I was originally planning on plant/healing before I saw that.

Re: Another RP Concept: FMA meets Zombie Apocalypse

Even if you have the right amount of points, Kimblee may decide not to teach you it depending on certain things.

Re: Another RP Concept: FMA meets Zombie Apocalypse

I thought kimblee had chemical decomposition not alchemical deconstruction?

Re: Another RP Concept: FMA meets Zombie Apocalypse

Oh right yeah, my bad >_>;;

If it's Scar then there will be only a small chance that he'll teach it to you. That and you'll need to track him down.

Re: Another RP Concept: FMA meets Zombie Apocalypse

How would scar know how to teach it anyway? He use's his brother's arm without any real knowledge of how it works, I thought?

Edit: doesn't Ed use it at least once, though?

Re: Another RP Concept: FMA meets Zombie Apocalypse

Yeah, Scar knows how to do it. He even said in the episode where he fights Ed and Al whilst it was raining that he had to change it from the regular one (where he breaks down human flesh) because it didn't work on Ed's arm. And I believe he kept changing it as Ed changed the metal in his arm in one battle to stop Scar from destroying his arm again.

And yeah, Ed did use it, it was on the brother's whose souls were affixed to the armour in Laboratory 5.

Re: Another RP Concept: FMA meets Zombie Apocalypse

Ah, I kind of remember the rain thing. Still, if Ed is there, would it be possible to learn from him instead of scar?

Re: Another RP Concept: FMA meets Zombie Apocalypse

Nope, because Scar is the one who specialises in it. And unless Wolf has any plans with Ed and Al I won't be playing them into the RP unless it's absolutely necessary.

Re: Another RP Concept: FMA meets Zombie Apocalypse

I didn't have any, so...

Re: Another RP Concept: FMA meets Zombie Apocalypse

Ah, well, probably any plan that involves convincing Scar not to kill Sen (Which involves proving that she doesn't have offensive alchemy, just healing and fixing) probably prevents convincing him to teach her. (Unless scar isn't running around killing state alchemists now?)

Re: Another RP Concept: FMA meets Zombie Apocalypse

That would be telling :p

Re: Another RP Concept: FMA meets Zombie Apocalypse

I'll probably switch back to my original plans then: plant/healing

Re: Another RP Concept: FMA meets Zombie Apocalypse

Fair enough, and there'll be a few more skills that I need to add to the plant/healing combo, they're a few more pollen abilities that can paralyse and put the enemy to sleep.

Re: Another RP Concept: FMA meets Zombie Apocalypse

I would think that, given both deal with living flesh, mastery of both would allow the healing of lost limbs or the like? (I haven't read the manga or scene much of the second anime version, so if healing already does that, ignore the suggestion.)

Re: Another RP Concept: FMA meets Zombie Apocalypse

Define lost limbs. Things like full arms and legs wont be able to be regrown, but fingers and the like will, though because it forces the cells to multiply the target will lose some of their life expectancy. It's kinda like when Naruto enters his tailed fox form, it does constant damage to him yet heals the damage, resulting in loss of life expectancy.

...Right, Oni?

I was thinking like growing a limb made of plant matter and using healing magic to turn it into a functional replacement (Possibly even give it human skin).

Re: Another RP Concept: FMA meets Zombie Apocalypse

Indeed, Wolf. And no, that wouldn't work, Phoenix.
