Dunno... I'd picture him as a close combat type, with enough brains to dodge... Or at least stay out of the opponent's range. Besides, I've met a person that threatened to hit me whenever I pissed him off, and most of the time, I walked out unharmed.

I doubt she'd get many if any comments from Maxwell, though he'll definitely have a rivalry in Jack and Miranda. He's fiercely dedicated and loyal to Roy, seeing as he's taken Maxwell under his wing and all.

Realising that he's let his dedication get the better of him, Max takes off his glove and takes a seat. "Like I need any pointers from you." He says briefly to Jack before looking outside. The weather was definitely different to what he's used to seeing towards summer.

"Any idea what could be causing it?" He asks James, though he'd imagine that James did not know the answer.

You know, it would have been really funny if you had forgotten to put the 'to Jack' part in, because otherwise it would have been:

"Why don't you two just go find a closet or something to make out in already?"

"Like I need any pointers from you."

Haha, wow I didn't realise you posted before me. Oh well, thats what I get for not paying attention and playing Dissidia at the same time. And there's nothing wrong with a storm during summer, unless it's a SNOW storm.

Ummmm... How widely known is Metras? He seems to be someone who wouldn't even make it into history books. He's effectively a crazy person who ended up apparently killing himself without causing harm. Even if he supposedly made an item to kill alchemists with, he was insane so likely what he created wouldn't be thought to be functional.

What I'm saying is his description doesn't give him anywhere near the level of notoriety necessary for brand new state alchemists to know about him.

Edit: he seems more of a nobody than anything else

You're right, he's really not that well know...

...of course, anyone with a connection to him, or the area he was originally from would be likely to at least know of his obsession.

I'm just saying because it seems that everyone but Bartnum's character has heard of him despite the fact that he would have the same level of fame as someone who killed themselves during a drunk driving incident.

While the details aren't that well know, there are a few rumors floating around about the incident. That's how most of you would likely know about the situation. James, at least, knows some of what went on, because he actually knew Kane while he was growing up. Kane was a few years older, but same location.

I'm going to guess that everyone has at least met.

Oni and I had kind of planned that James and Max knew each other already, and it seems like Max and Jack had already started their little rivalry...

I think that the amount of time they've known each other will be left up to the players themselves to work out, but everyone in this starting group has already been introduced prior.
