Hello everybody, i'm AstroMonkey, the maker of a new hentai game callled Project E.V.A and i would like to let people know of its existance, link to dlsite is below(hope it works).

The game is 2d action shooter that is very reminiscing of resident evil.
You control an agent from a special police division and you must investigate an emergency call from inside a corporation named EVA Corp.
Once the game has started you can control your character through typical h-games control, directional arrow for moving left right or crouch, Z for shooting, X for opening door, containiers, picking up key and medkits and talking/searching as well as entering rooms and elevators, C is used fo medkits and SPACE to jump.
The game is very hard, you have to collect keys to open corridor doors in order to progress, and you will unlock h-animations everytime you clear the boss of the level(you can view them in prison mode).

You don't have a knife so once you run out of bullets you are done for unless you manage to reach an ammobox, the secret is learning which weapon is best used against, for istance mutated mantis have 14 hp, shotgun does 6 damage, if you shoot them 3 times with the sg you waste ammunition, maybe it's best to use a different weapon.

Monsters are placed to lure you into traps, so there is some kind of puzzle element in choosing how to clear a room, sometimes you can skip monsters, or sacrifice health to conserve ammo, it's up to you. As for boss fights you are provided with the exact amount of ammo to kill them just before you enter the boss room.

I wanted to provide a clean experience, so i've decided to keep the h-content separate, there will be no adult material during gameplay, you can only access with by selecting prison mode in the main menu.

The prison mode:

You can select one of the 10 animations(they were 12 but i'm not from japan so i had to remove the mutated dog and mutated blue wolf animations as they were not accepted from someone outside of japan, bestiality is not accepted).
Each animation has 3 phases(foreplay, penetration, finish), which can be changed at your leisure, and each phase has 3 different speed options.

I will provide some info to make the game easier should you want to give it a try.

Weapon Damage:

Pistol : 2
Sub Machine Gun: 1
Shotgun: 6
Assault Rifle : 3
Magnum : 12

Monsters HP:

Mutated Employee: 10
Mutated Dog: 8
L1Boss: 100
MutatedManager: 12
MutatedWhiteCollar:10
L2Boss : 200
Mutated Security: 12
Mutated Mantis:14
L3Boss: 300
Mutated Engineer:24
Mutated Sludge: 14
L4Boss : You can see the pattern here.

How to find keys:

Explore every room, you will find a key somewhere in there, some rooms have multiple floors, some rooms have a keycard, there are a total of 3 keycards, you need them to enter the boss room, and one is also used to get the magnum.

If you need help or anything or more info please let me know. I'd also like to hear your opinion about the game, or the demo(which is the first level).
Take into account that except for the audio and music i have done everything myself, so i apologize if the quality is not top notch. Next game will be better.

Looks good!
The asking price is a bit much so I'll probably wait for a discount. Shame about the dog and wolf.

Yeah, I can see why you'd want to do that, but it honestly destroy the point of porn games.

Game looks nice, but kinda ruined by the price and the fact that there's no porn during gameplay. Rape during gameplay inflates the difficulty so I don't see why you wouldn't include it. But oh well. Hope the game sells well :)

You should really just release a patch offsite (on a blog or something) that adds them back in. Got to admit I was disappointed that the dog animation was missing considering it's featured in the game's screenshot. A decensor is a good idea too, if you really want to spite the nips.

So let me get this straight, you have 2 enemies you made but cannot use because you are not Japanese? WTF type of crap is that? I mean between the price and the content being taken out I would say you got screwed a bit on this one. This is why I keep telling people to use Itch.io and sites like it to do what they want because the DL sites can be stupid as hell with content creators. There is one example that come to mind that shows they are not consistent with this no beasty stuff, type in Scorpion and look at his country, it says ENGLAND and yet he has a animation that ONLY HAS BESTIALITY CONTENT. So yeah next time use Itch.io, because as it stands now with the price and the fact some of the good stuff taken out many will pass on this one.

I actually bought and played this

It's a bit janky, and avoiding enemies can be nearly impossible. the Dogs can be jumped over, but anything else higher than that is just not going to happen.

I'd also agree with going Itch.io with this. You could include the removed content, as well as get rid of the awful censorship.

I'd also reckon something along the lines of $5 to $10 bucks for this.

Yeah this thing i don't understand, i sent them the modified version of the game without those 2 animations along with the modified screenshot but it seems they didnt use the screenshot without the dog even thought i told them to do so, i was thinking about the patch, since technically they are still in the game, you just can't select them.

Yeah, I can see why you'd want to do that, but it honestly destroy the point of porn games.
This is what i was kinda afraid of while making it, to be honest i always hated ROR and GOR because you would have to waste time reloading a checkpoint or the whole level, still i could have added porn as storytelling, which i will do in the next game for sure.

Thank you, i think i will follow your suggestion and ask them to lower the price, maybe they will do it tomorrow since it's sunday, i will check out this itch.io, i've always bought these games on dlsite.

And thanks for all the feedback

Hi there, dev. It's good to see owner of the project passively accept comment and criticize without freak off which many in a past in this forum are not seems to be good with, cheers.

I understand that you're not a big fans of in-game interactive pornography (screw game-over-rape-only tho, that really is a time waster) but I would say for a porn game it can be very bane itself to make such game look interesting to play as a 'porn game' not 'just a game'. Without them it would raise more focus on the point of how fun and interesting for only game itself have to offer while having it can halve down a handful of those tone when a good adult material can be expect along the game which somehow can increase it excitement to certain level.

You don't really need to have the need to input penalty, punishment or frustration add into those interaction, take Night of Revenge for example, which include a very simple interactive system without the need of button mashing or complex puzzle to optimize it goods, just a few fast tap can cancel the operation altogether while leave it at that to enjoy some porn also don't cost you anything when you watch, just a nice sight to witness, you can have player pick whether they want to see the good stuff or just play a game, this way it can be both 'just a game' and 'porn game' at the same time

It's good and all when you already include what said to be 'Prison mode' or 'Gallery' but I would say that taking a tour in gallery and have the direct interaction from in-game yield quite a different experience, for me at least, I just love more actual interaction than a casual walk'n talk in a gallery and all.

Not that I like to force you into this kinda stuff but I just like to point out how it can function and can be workaround where you can keep the core game that it's meant to be play at ease and having those art works pair along without the need to have them interact with core game itself, just leave them be 'part of a game' rather than just a 'bonus' can make 'porn game' much more interesting I would say. Surely it need extra work to arrange those queue and script, I'm still not the one who decide how which game should be, I'm not project owner after all, but it's my point of view as a consumer.

Lastly, I would love if you can keep those in mind for future project, but hey, every art work need a good mood and personal interest as its core, is it not ?
If you still don't like or can't like the way it is, then you can overlook my wall of text entirely, just a suggestion after all, keep up the good work

Thank you for taking the time to chime in, i would like to say that my next project, Caramel and the Witch's trial, will have content during gameplay, as the main focus of the game will be collecting "liquids" from the leaders of monster's tribes in order to summon a demon and take his semen, as part of every witch that turns 18( y'know for all legal intent and purposes).

I think however that i could actually work on scenes during gameplay on this actual project, maybe as part of a gameover, but if the game itself doesn't gather enough attention it might be best to call it a fail and learn from the mistakes.

I've played this game up until after the first boss, and I'll admit, I did enjoy it. However, from there, at least for me, the difficulty went high really quick. This is a great first game, so well done aylard82, I hope to see more of your work in the future, as I certainly like your art-style, both for the sprites and the full body images. As for the gameplay, as others have said, it is a bit janky here and there, but I'm sure with some more experience under your belt you will turn into a fine game developer.

Anyway, onto the other reason I was posting on here. Like some people whom have also purchased this game, we would like to see all of the pornographic stuff sooner rather than later, and unfortunately for myself, I don't have the skill it seems to actually progress and finish your game. As such, I am asking for a save file which has full access to the Gallery within it, if that is at all possible please? Either from aylard82 them-self, or from fellow member of the forums? Thank you in advance :)

There are multiples save files, one for monsters, one for ammoboxes, one for keys, doors, they all sit in the same folder

The save file you want is a .json file called prison.json and it's found in C:\Users\<yourpcusername>\AppData\LocalLow\Marco Premoli\Project E.V.A

from there just open the prison.json file with any text program and replace false with true on every line, save and exit, when you launch the game you will be able to select all the scenes, just remember that i am a dumb dumb and scripted the prison mode to be updated based on bosses hp, so if you run new game or load your save the prison mode will be updated with your current status.

Also i really appreciate your opinion of the game, i can say the game is difficult but once you get the shotgun and the AR it's going to get a little easier.

I'm taking the opportunity to post some helpful advice and infos that may make they game easier for eveyrbody

Monsters HP:

Mutated Employee(green guy): 10 hp
Mutated Dog : 8 hp
Mutated Manager(yellow guy):12 hp
Mutated WhiteCollar(blue/pink guy):10 hp
Mutated Mantis : 14 hp
Mutated Security : 12 hp
Mutated Engineer : 24 hp
Mutated Sludge : 14 hp

L1Boss: 100hp
L2Boss: 200hp
L3Boss : 300 hp
L4Boss : 400 hp

Near the boss room you will always find enough ammo to take down the boss, so even if you get there with 0 ammo you will get enough to kill it.

Weapon damage :

Handgun : 2
SMG : 1
Shotgun(Found by solving the sun painting puzzle) : 6
AR : 3
Magnum : 12

I'm sure with this info you'll be able to manage your ammo supplies better, using the right weapon for the right monster.

Enemies don't go away or take damage from attacking the player and tend to knockback and pingpong you around when they hit you, so sacrificing health to preserve ammo doesn't seem to work. They also sometimes press up against the box stacks that you sometimes have to climb down and make them impassible.

As someone who went into this game blind-ish (dlsite page only) I personally find it to have features that don't make sense or are clunky done. I'll try and explain these and if I may, I'm not going to go easy with my thoughts...

  • I'm going to start with the first thing I see, the menu, when I first loaded the game I was confused as to how to start it as it had numbers beside the options with one of them being smaller and different shade of red which made me think that it's arrow key controlled. I found that to not be true when I then tried the number keys so a bit odd for it to be done like that though it helped later on when ingame as I knew then how it worked.
  • controls off the bat are explained on the walls and are changeable in the start up menu but are confusing due to the labels as return and enter are set to submit however not all of them are there and so changing weapons can be a pain later on if you are trying to optimize bullets with their weapons. As some controls I felt were in the wrong place or could have been merged with others like talk is on what is usually the jump key instead of the action key which also makes it easy to try to fire a bullet and go through a door way as that has been on the up arrow if it is not jump.
  • Jumping has been mentioned a lot as it is fairly useless to use and often causes me to end up dead in a single jump due to a stun lock when I try to manage a jump I've done before to get over a dog but I timed it just wrong which doesn't work out well when you run out of room to dodge enemies.
  • Enemy placement causes a huge difficulty spike for example the first room you enter as soon as you open the first key door is so tight that you need to reload a save and go in there knowing what is there or give up on that room if you go in and realize your surrounded by impassable melee units with ranged units and only 10 seconds of shooting time which means you just cannot win. This is because if you don't do precise movements there you will trigger both melee units as you try to dodge the first ranged units volley so you can kill one of the melee units and get some room to kill off the ranged unit on that same side so you have more breathing room. If you don't do it right you are looking at a place you can't go, with the rewards of clearing it being horrible unless you jump over two of the units due to ammo. Another case of bad placement is rooms where you have to go down and then back up again except now you've got a unit right on the edge and not wanting to drop down, forcing you to try to get them to attack so you and jump past or shoot them if there's a spot to get a shooting position since you cannot fire while in the air. I also found that later on you can struggle to know where to go to avoid enemy ranged attacks if they are at head level as you think you can just duck under but nope too big of a hit box.....okay then.
  • Ammo I feel is limited too much especially with when you can spend so much to clear a room for a special reward possibly or just for that key to progress but you get back only the ammo you spent if not less if you don't choose the right weapon. This made me feel like there really should have been a way to choose a difficulty as 6 bullets from the handgun is too much for areas like I said above in enemy placement. I found it more enjoyable to just go down one hallway and explore it all using my ammo freely and then load a save and go straight for the room that has what I need and come out better overall this is in part due to the health.
  • Health seems to fixed as to how many hits you can take which makes the health bar confusing as a choice instead of something that can make it more clear that you need to health kit now or die or at least something additional to this. Like maybe how the character seems with their clothing has been common or just a number/word beside or in the health bar especially as your taking inspiration from Resident Evil. Health kits aren't also explained as to if they heal you to full or not and if they are likely to be found so it's not really known how free you are to use them.
  • Stun locking is something that can kill you easily as I said before if you mess up with a jump and are stuck on top of a dog and just bounce around before being dead or on your last bit of health. Same goes for if you end up stuck in a room due to just being trapped by an enemy watching the point you need to go past and there is simply no way around them or to kill them.
  • More of a luxury thing this but multiple save slots are useful and as far as I know shouldn't be hard to do with unity.
  • Level design, this comes a bit in hand with the enemy placement and the jumping however I left it out of those and wanted a different section on it as it seems an overall nuisance in my mind. As I needed to attempt to jump a gap about 3 times before I did it by looking like I was nearly hovering off the edge of one side, I have also ended up up running out of room quickly in the process of trying to manage an area I just came into for the first time and end up trapped or having to use more than I felt I should have needed to for what I gained back. I had some trouble with jumping up the stack of creates/boxes if I stood too close to them and I think the model hit the hitbox of them that sticks out a bit much or the character's jump model clips into, which also ally characters can just walk through making me question why they can walk through them while I don't have that option.
  • Game text/story is a bit confusing to myself as well I thought with the first boss that the ally said that they would come in and help me with watching my back by taking out minor enemies that maybe came in while the boss fight happened but nope slams door behind me and just stands there. This also confused me with progression as I found an email saying about the elevator and thought great just need to get through this wall since it's on the other side, went there and nope so checked the email again and still confused about it I thought something went wrong or I needed to explore more which I then found where I need to be which was far away from the room. This also confused me as well with when you enter the building to begin with and the ally says they are a bit in but mention nothing about the elevator being broken so I thought I would have to fix that to get to them. A side thing with the text is that I don't know if there was an issue with it in unity as the text seemed to be constantly different in the wrong places, as I said before with the menu text as an example, there is also that you used a lowercase i when you had the text say I'll though I feel that's due to it looking the same as a l which is maybe more with font choice.
Now about the H-content being in the prison mode only as I left out my thoughts of that above as I wanted it in a separate thing here where I simply leave it be that due to the pictures on DLsite I was disappointed by the fact that it seemed to have them in the game as a active part instead of gallery only especially when none of this is mentioned in the description of the game with the price being so high. This made me feel more frustrated by playing the game as there was no rewarding part of playing that could bring back the fun to it as I feel a H-game on the store is.

Anyway those are my thoughts on this and what I played. I didn't go much into the second level/area as I was finding myself getting annoyed with the ammo and the jumping that I had to do to get around or avoid ranged attacks, the difficulty of the game is hard but I do not feel that is due to the principles/ideas of the game rather how things have been done to implement them along with their polish. I am sorry if this seemed very harsh but I wished to provide my honest feedback to a possibly new developer.

I am wondering if you have planned what your doing next as well and if you've started research on similar things to it as you don't have a blog?

I'm currently working on a fantasy hgame 2d scrolling and a vertical ship hgame(a mix between tyrian and mechwarrior).

I'd like to say a few things, i've completed the game 3 times during testing and my friends which are all over 35 managed to plow through it without too much hassle.

I wanted to make a video on how to jump over enemies while taking only 1 collision damage, but frankly i find that to be useless considering the game has been pirated and downloaded thousands of times, suffice to say you can jump over almost every enemy with the exception of a couple, you can also jump over the second level boss, as it's part of the strategy to beat him, this is not questionable, the game is structured to allow it, try timing your jumps differently.

You actually have to put effort and think about what you do, it's also trial and error but if you take it slowly you can pull single enemies without too much hassle.

Sure the game is unpolished, there are some bugs here and there, but that's part of developing a game

Also for the hentai part, you unlock parts of the gallery when you kill a boss, so actually you get rewarded with hentai by completing the relative level, i'm guilty by not telling the player that part.

Also for the story part, the notes mention a generator behind the wall but it's not broken, actually the first note explains to you that the blue wolf is interfering with it, and when you pass in front of the elevator it clearly say it's out of power. Darren will always wait outside the boss door, the excuse for that is that while you handle the boss he'll scout for enemies and cover the entrance.
