Re: Atlantis
Siphon let loose a low growl, fists clenching.
"First things first, we need to get her into a stasis unit here. We can't chance using the gate until Nirrti is downed, but without stasis to preserve her, Vanessa is as good as dead. Then we have to figure out how in the hell we're going to stop her. Ian, Aya is capable of causing living beings to combust into flame and melt, with a power like that at Nirrti's disposal ... she's infinitely more dangerous now. I have an idea on how we can track her, the city sensors should detect her even through a personal cloak, if not ... well there is always generating a small vorshal burst which would fry it. Aya is about my height, little taller, blonde hair, emerald eyes and an ancient. Oh, and did I mention she may or may not be a long lost wife from a past I've had no clue about until today?"
Jacobs frowned.
"Nirrti left her to jump into Aya? Well, if that's who I think it is, yeah Siphon is right, very bad news with her power. Though she used it not long ago and it seemed to drain her, so maybe we'll get lucky and she can't use it just yet. We'll be there in moments to assist in moving Vanessa. Do what you can to keep her stable."
At that moment, a coughing sound was heard, coming from Vanessa. Her eyes fluttered open, and she gasped in air, coughing louder, struggling to speak words that were crucial.
"Ian .. Si .. phon. Nirrti ... she's still in .. the city... you got here ... just after she ... jumped. I .. I managed to ... damage her device ... she can't cloak. I .. I'm sorry I couldn't ... do more or stop her."
On that, she let out another gasp for air, then began to convulse, eyes rolling into her head. Siphon quickly pressed a hand to her forehead, one lingering half a moment in hesitation over her chest before placing it gently on top, and then a faint light engulfed both him and Vanessa. It might take a moment for Ian to realize what was happening, as he hadn't really seen this before, but had heard of it. Siphon was using his abilities to try and stabilize her enough to live, and from the frown on his face, while she seemed to be getting slightly better, that frown indicated it wasn't by much. When he was done, her convulsions had stopped, he spoke to Ian without turning.
"She's helped far more than she knows. If Nirrti can't cloak, she can't sneak past us through the gate. Which means when the others get here, you go to these gate coordinates Ian.
He handed a small pad to him with glowing symbols.
"You go there from Peltas, and when you get there, two hundred meters from the gate will be a semi buried set of rings with an activator only a few inches below a fake section of ground. Use that, which will draw a bunch of Tokra out. You tell them Siphon sent you, and you need healer help from Tavala. You'll need the authentication code ... Siphon Daina Gamma Eight. They won't delay after that. And Ian ... I'm ... I'm sorry about the um ... physicality displayed there."
