He just might. Remember, he said only your intro missions were "invulnerable". And I don't think he meant just getting thrown in a breeding den.

I'd just like to point out that they didn't actually SEE what that woman did to Shiva. We saw part of it, because we're the omniscient readers. Iris and Emily were already out of the room when Shiva attacked.

Plot thought: the characters need to get the Director out of her depressed hole in order for her to help. Otherwise she'll just sit there and stare at the wall. Maybe verifying that Shiva actually did die in the warehouse blast might be of assistance?

The Director(Amy) feels helpless, and the maid with the broadsword(Freyda) is trying to talk to her.

It's a requirement for this mission to be combat efficient, and Emily isn't the greatest in that field.

And I'll be honest, the white haired woman is tough, but no Ganananananana is required to defeat her. XD

The most I would ever allow to happen is a wound that prevents character action. No character will be completely removed from the game.

Before we go off on the mission we'll get Emily stronger.
A day or two of sparing should get her fighting skills up right?

Two days will be quite some time from now, but yes, with Iris as her instructor, you'll see a slight improvement in handguns or swords, whichever one she trains in.

I like it, even if he does look a little scary. We need to find an unlooted shop at some point though, damnit. We're going to run low on ammo pretty soon.

I didn't get the response I wanted from that maid.
