I know. Melissa doesn't. AFAIK, those websites she spent all her time obsessing over didn't mention that the monsters would be sex fiends interested in sucking out women's soulforce.

Though I think Mel's getting an idea, just from what poor Mina's responses are.;)

Okay, so two NPCs. That's hardly anything to write home about.

The entire idea of making "norms" is that they are the "norm". By definition, shouldn't that make the majority of characters we meet be "norms"?

Lemme list who else I think is a "norm":

-Azure's contact, the pilot
-River's contact, Caliber
-David
-Sekia's contact, Yoko

Nothing says that any of those people are Survivor-class... they've been employed in very specialized manners.

Now what would happen if Luna finished her shower, and stumbled on Jesse and Iris together?... I expect amusement... (Well actually... Luna wouldn't care for the most part I believe.

None of those characters are norms.

Just look at David's relative stats. Even if he was specialized for combat and trapping only, the sheer level of his skills excludes him from the "norm" class.

Everyone else on your list... their relative stats are just too high to be norms. They're all stronger than we are, which by the time they match our skills, they're no longer "norms" anyhow, are they?

Glad to at least see that the player knows what to expect ;)

And also, Caliber is a walking Deus ex DM-ina DeMatt. I remember RJ saying his stats were all better, and had nearly maxed every fighting-related skill, and we've already seen he can do a couple other things as well.

DeMatt's right, they are norms, I just made their stats so that they were very effective at what they did, which is basic knowledge of transportation, and combat.

If Caliber made a perception check, he'd fail horribly. Willpower check? Not happenin'. Constitution? Dumped for other, favorable stats.

If Stacy, Meredith's friend, attempted to do anything other than use her spell, she wouldn't be able to do it.

Bleh I read that thread and remember him saying that... that's why I said he wasn't a norm but apparently he is. Oh well he doesn't need perception checks really lol

Hopefully not... Although I'd say Iris has too many people protecting her that if Daisy and Iris ever met, Daisy would be gunned down before she could do anything.

Wouldn't River count as one too to a certain extent? She'd certainly help Iris if someone was threatening her I believe.
