I think it only applies to characters surprise attacking us, as opposed to initiative in a frontal confrontation. It was aware of us as much as we were aware of it ahead of time, so I'm not sure it would come into play there.

I think RJ gave all the bigger monsters the Fast Reactions quality, mostly because it's probably the single most powerful one. Melissa and Jenn both have Fast Reactions, and the tentacle monster they're fighting right now is going before them.

Another reason is the limited number of qualities to choose from. Without taking Acute Senses or Resistances, taking all the positive qualities costs 24 points - within reach of a Survivor who doesn't mind the 9 points of drawbacks. So EVERYBODY takes Fast Reactions.

Well, the thing is, we don't have any means of fighting it while it's under there, we don't have any way of going around this area, so with the bridge broken we're gonna have to go into the water while it's lurking at some point.

I'm hoping that between the wounds Jenn dealt out, and the meal Mina fed it, it'll stay put under the rocks while the rest of us go dog-paddling. And Melissa's worry over Mina is as good an excuse to test that theory as any.

Besides, if it was gonna drag women under and use them for incubators, it would've dragged Mina under. She's still got a uterus - it just doesn't produce ova any more.

Also, I'm raging(Again) over Nightmare's Unnamed coming to a sudden halt. I LOVED THAT GAME SO PHUCKING MUCH *Tear drop*

Gahd... I really do miss that game... I feel like I lost a beloved member of my family.

It didn't completely cripple her, as that's what happens when your stamina gets directly hit. It just knocked her out. Once she wakes up, she'll be fine.

Yeah, PC version of Oblivion is really great, even if only for the boobies. But, you can also get other female companions, personal lairs, flying castles, and even Martigen's Monster Mod, that puts more monsters into the game, not to mention some, "Sexual creatures" mods out there, that make some of the female monsters... More pleasing to the eyes.

And asides from all that, I felt that female characters in the game didn't quite get the... Sexy clothing they deserved. So I looked around a while back, and found this amazing mod,

Holy shit. I apparently got fucking rocked.

I read this thread first, so I was trying to figure who you were talking about. I checked unpacking first like "Hmm, that doesn't make sense, why would Regina knock Ashley out." No dice, wrong thread. So of course I check the one with the boss, and a little sexual escapades avoided, the boss didn't come back up. So I of course completely forget about the knockout thing and check on my thread, only to see I got oh snap pwned

I guess I hadn't understood what the director meant by ignoring them. I'd thought she meant thinking of something else whilst fighting, I guess that wasn't the case. I didn't even know that simply looking at them would be a mistake. Looks like Iris, Luna, and Emily are all finished unless Joseph can save them, which he won't because he's hurt so badly.

Raptor, would asking for a retry be asking for too much? Cause our characters are doomed at this point.

I actually expected this to happen in this sense, but IC Luna was too enraged to take another action ;P... Well then, let's see what we can do from here, and if we lose? Fufufufu, oh well. It'd have been game set, match, and checkmate.
