Do the old BISHOP games have some sort of protection on them? I've been trying to get this game to work but it keeps asking me to insert "original disc". No crack in the iso or anything.

Leave the ISO mounted that you installed it from.

No ISO? Pray for forgiveness.

Thats the thing, the iso IS mounted and is telling me this. Thats why Im so confused. Never had this problem before.

pretty big collection im dling it to see if i can repeat the same error so far all i can say is... did you mount the right iso? cause theres like about 19-20 games and you could have botched it up

Yeah, you need a no CD patch because it will usually not read the ISO as the original CD.

WARNING!

There is a version of 牝教師 that contains an anti-pirating measure, which will delete all the files on your computer, and antivirus software will not stop it from doing so.

There used to be a thread on Hongfire about it, but it was lost when they removed their filesharing forum. You can see a note about it on this Deadfrog page:

I have had the issue happen to me, luckily I run everything on a virtual machine so I didn't lose any important files, but I did lose a lot of HGames :(

There is a "fixed" version of the game where the offending code was removed, but I don't know which of the two versions is more prevalent on filesharing sites, and more often than not the issue is not mentioned, so running this game is extremely risky!

That said, if you do get the version you have working, and it doesn't delete all your files, I'd love to know so I can finally play it properly.

I got it working. In one of the games theres an Alpharom no cd patcher that can be used on all the games that need a CD. Simply execute the patcher, then go into the games install folder and select reg.
I may be lucky or something I don't know.
