From how it's described, those buildings might actually be your competitors, you need steal customers from them and fend of their attempts to do the same to you. It's pretty vague though, so maybe they are your's and you don't really see competitors unless they're trying to do something.
Checked the store page and I think you're right. At the very least the ones with different signs are competitors. So you probably have multiple buildings but they're surrounded by rivals.
5 animations is indeed weak, but it will be quite logical if the price is under 1000 yen.
Something is prevented you from saving, cause that's exactly how you're suppose to save in this game. Try running the program as admin and/or making an exception for the .ini files in the LMH_Data folders.
Click on the status screen to see the requirement for passing the level, it requires number of rooms, total customer, enemies defeated and current fund.
Which one is that? I only got like 6 poses out of shitload of them.
This is merely speculation cause I haven't tried it yet, but could it be the one that looks like the view finder in a camera? You know, the four L shaped box?
