Catherine finds herself missing again, the beast dodging out of the way...into Marc's ax. However, the beast strikes back at both of them! Catherine finding herself entangled as Marc hits the back wall with a thud and slumps over, knocked out.

"Marc!" Catherine cried out as she saw him collapse limply in a pile against the far wall. For a moment, the thought of forgetting the fight and running over to check if he was alright crossed her mind, but with her legs entangled she couldn't even if she wanted to. Realizing she was alone in fighting the boss and that Marc wasn't going to free her again, she stopped trying to pull away from the wraps on her leg and struck out at the main body of the demon again.

Catherine tried to attack again, finding her move countered as the demon grabbed her mid swing. It tried to smack her with it's whip like arms, but she managed to avoid the attack, though she was still grappled.
