"Hopefully, I don't fancy falling into a pit, or something like that." he says, holding tight onto Catherine and the rope so neither her nor she falls.

It's a while, and the pair is starting to get tired, but eventually the trap resets, the stairs returning to normal. Marc unhooks the rod as he sets Catherine down, telling her to be careful as they continue.

"Careful? I don't know the meaning of the word." She joked as she started moving up the stairs again. Moving very slowly, she looked for anything suspicious on each new step before she continued. She didn't think there would be any additional pressure plates after the first one, but she watched her step nonetheless.

Catherine manages to make it up the stairs without any more terrible incident, arriving at the landing where a large door blocked her sight into the room beyond.

"Hrm, large ominous door. Only one appropriate way to handle these." Catherine said as she walked up to it and checked to make sure it wasn't locked or anything. Seeing that it wasn't, she opened it with as much force as she could, causing it to slam open in a dramatic fashion.

By the time Catherine had decided it wasn't locked, Marc had gotten a bit tired of standing around and kicked the door open, letting it flair dramatically open.

Inside the room was what appeared to be a very large demon type think, a wrap demon, Catherine would name it. For it was similar to the rope demons, but instead of rope, it was bandage wrap.

Scattered about the room were the mummified figures of quite a few girls. some mummified entirely, some leaving the head undone, but still gagged, and others with the area around their womanhood left open, often with a tentacle pounding inside of them if that was the case.

Catherine has acquired combat expertise 1, she has also gained sword expertise one from previous combats. Marc has Axe Expertise 3.

Seeing the other girls state immediately caused Catherine to blush. There's so many.. it's like a.. collection.. Not wanting to join them, she raised her sword and little buckler while she started advancing towards the monster, careful to strike at any of the wraps that tried to come near her. This thing seemed to be roughly the same as a rope demon, so she was going to fight it like it was one.

Marc leaps into action with Catherine, having a massive strike just miss by a sliver, as the rope demon fails to get a hold on Catherine, her attack also failing to do anything to the creature.

Undeterred by her misses, she kept up her steady advance on the creature, slicing at any of the wraps that came into range of her. Although focused on the wrap demon, she couldn't help but see the trapped women being violated out of the corner of her eye.

Catherine fails on her attack again, only to land a solid blow as a counter attack when the beast flails at her. It manages to attack Marc too at the same time, though misses him, just as he missed it.

Catherine grinned as she severed a couple of the wraps, seeing them flutter to the ground lifelessly. She pressed in towards the wrap demon again, hacking away at anything she could reach.

Catherine fails to attack again, her buckler deflecting the next blow from the beast. It tries to follow up but Marc lands a solid hit on the creature, hurting it.

Seeing an opening when it recoiled from Marc's attack, Catherine rushed in to hit it as well. After she finished her strike, she slowly backed off again, ready to cut at any of the wraps attempting a counter.

Catherine finds herself suddenly hit after missing her attack, the wrap starting to work it's way around her, already making it harder to attack. Marc also gets a good smack as his misses his next attack.

Feeling the bandages start to entangle her, Catherine gave a cry of panic and started pulling away from the monster. Using her whole body's weight to pull against the wraps, she did her best to squirm out of them before they could get a firm grip.

Catherine finds herself unable to escape from the wrap of the creature, quickly growing scared as she notices that it seems to be wrapping her far quicker than the rope demon tied her. Another quick scare comes from when she sees Marc knocked off his feet after missing his attack, sent flying against the wall.

"Marc!" She cried out as she saw her companion smash into the wall with a horrible thud. The stunningly fast rate at which the monster was trapping her caused her to frantically redouble her efforts at escaping. Desperate to get the wraps to stop their entanglement, she grabbed handfuls of them and tried to pry them off of herself, while she continued her attempts to wriggle her way free.

Catherine wiggles herself free, forgoing the chance to attack the creature to focus on getting it off her, luckily, she manages to get the webbing off of her as Marc stands back up.

Sadly, this doesn't last for long before the creature attacks her and Marc both again, slapping her as it starts to entangle her once more, Marc looking like he's on his last leg.

"Not again!" Frustrated by being grabbed again immediately after escaping, she looked for the best place to hack away a large clump of the wraps holding her. Aiming to sever as many as she could in one strike, she quickly raised her sword and slashed downwards at the wraps attempting to entangle her again.

Catherine fails to escape, although Marc lands an exteremely solid blow against the beast, causing it to stumble and release Catherine. It's next attack misses, so Catherine is safe for now.

Wanting to use her newly found freedom to change the momentum of the fight, Catherine rushed towards the demon. Slicing at any of the wraps that got in her way, she pressed towards it until she got close enough to strike at the main body of the thing. She raised her sword above her head, bringing it down on the enemy in a sweeping overhead strike.
