It isn't vista since it works for me... are your regional settings in japanese? (I have somehow managed to convince my computer that usa settings are japanese. I have know idea how I did that)

I'm on Win7 and had the same problem, you have to set the regional settings to JP. You can download the language packs for free from the internet (legally) if you don't have them on your computer.
Hi guys, i have one little problem - I cannot run this game on my Vista, and I don't know why.

Your best bet in finding this game now would be a torrent. If you can't or refuse to use torrents, then not just in this case, but you're probably going to be out of luck in general when it comes to finding hentai games you don't want to pay for.
If there's enough interest in the game but no seeded torrents, I'll see what I can do about that too. Not sure if I still have a copy of it laying around though.
Pretty excited for the remake being made of it though.

If contains letters, it means that the gear is designed off the character class, but only the look, not the equip.
ie. xxxxxxMe = A type of gear that looks like the Medic's gear (but does not mean it is only equippable to the Medic, it's only the look)
D = Dancer
F = Fighter
Ma = Mage
Me = Medic
R = Rouge
Forgot the 6th letter. lol

UPPER's is an expatiation that adds a new set of floors and the like. It's actually FAR harder then the base game, so I hope you grinded your old team doing the mid-term break between games. It adds a few new sex elements, but I don't recall anything that great sadly. In the end while it added more gameplay, outfits, and difficulty...it didn't really add much more hentai wise.

Install the first game (well, unpack it).

Install 1.5, then install 1.6, overwrite any files when prompt.
Unpack the UPPERS into the folder
Overwrite any files if prompted.

4) When you go to the dungeon, you will now notice a new option besides the different floor. Click that and now enter floor 26.
