Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

The spider nuzzles into her hand, and even prods at her for a little more once she stops, before they all head up into the nest, which was a comfortable looking collection of hammocks and fairly large but sturdy.

Everyone seemed to nod in agreement except dillian who didn't like the idea obviously, but liked being eaten by the jungle even less.

I don't like the idea of not being there to help you. But... I don't want to stay here on my own either... spiders... spiders everywhere do not leave me in this place alone. he said, looking out in... well to be honest it was clear to see he was absolutely terrified of the spiders themselves. Less so of the women, but definitely the spiders. Ashliegh seemed torn between protecting Dillian, and romping about in the jungle, her bushy tail betraying her emotions, and Tam seemed... like she didn't really care. Hix ACTUALLY didn't care and stayed with Tam because... ottergirl. It was up to Christine in the end however how she divided up the party to her liking.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Of all the things to be scared of... well, okay, being scared of giant spiders IS pretty reasonable. Sighing, Christine shakes her head. "Well, we can't really take you into the forest either... Fine. Ashlie, would you mind staying with him? We'll come back for lunch."

Assuming that settled it, Christine looks in her bag for rope and a knife or a hatchet before getting back on the forest floor and heading for the beach.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Alamanta caught Christine and Tam on their way along the bridge and back to the jungle floor, handing them a small pouch each and tapping her breast bone. You're not from here. These will keep MOST of the jungle from grabbing at you. Not all of it, but it's a start. she said, the pouches hanging on leather thongs for them to wear.

Give it about a week and the jungle will be used to you and less aggressive. Otherwise it's the pouches or it'll be like when you arrived. she said, smiling. After that it was a question of snuggling a spider back to the ground and Tam sticking right behind her towards the beach. The ship was still burning, but now steadily sinking under the waves, the water around it churning and boiling, the screams had stopped.

Fucking Fish People... Can't even go get clams. It's not faaaair. she whined softly, staring at the water like it would bite her.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

"Thank you." Christine replies to the spiderwoman, slipping the cord around her neck and waiting for Tam to do the same before proceeding.

As they arrive at the beach, Christine gives Tam a pat on her back before starting to look for driftwood and broken branches suitable for raft-building. "All the more reason to get away from here sooner rather than later."

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Yeah sure, giant spiders and a grabby jungle isn't enough though. No seafood is worth this pain! she said, clearly put out by it but wandering about the beach, collecting things. There were some long boards from a smashed apart rowboat, while Christine knew over the next few days, the shore would be flooded with burnt boards from the galleon.

There were also a type of long thin reed growing along between the beach and the jungle that might have a use later but she wasn't sure what yet. What was certain was that she did not have any rope, it was in Dillian's pack. She'd remembered he carried a good amount of it just in case. She was also living with spiderpeople.

There wasn't enough right now to piece a raft together though without taking a tree down. Nor did there seem to be anything obvious that could take the part of driftwood about for her. What was all over the beach though were what looked like triangular sea shells, slightly curled, shining a soft blue and Tam was collecting quite a few of them. Might make a necklace. They are pretty. she said, shrugging, each shell about the size of a small sand dollar.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Not enough driftwood to make a raft right now. And cutting down a tree would be a terrible idea. After half-heartedly sorting the row-boat wreck into usable and unusable, Christine starts wandering around with Tam, collecting seashells as well unless something else caught her eye. "I guess you should ask Alamanta if there's a way to keep the merfolk at bay."

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Honestly that depends on how hungry they are. They are as unfriendly as I said earlier. Tam said, shrugging and helping her collect shells. They got lucky though as far as more driftwood was concerned as they rounded a corner of the beach, there was a slight problem though.

Staying tucked behind a tree, they saw what had to be an older smashed apart ship, something smaller, probably a frigate from the size of it. It had been forcibly beached and swarmed by men and women Christine could see had almost pearl blue skin. They'd be practically invisible in the water but they are singing very softly to themselves as they prowled around the wreckage, 7 in all that they could see and Tam was shaking. Sirens... Bad news... Mistress... everything in this area could kill us... we need to talk to Alamanta about how they survive here because normally... these islands would be completely barren. Tam muttered, flinching everytime a note of the song became a little louder, as if she were ready to turn and run at any moment. While they watched, Christine could see that while mainly humanoid, they had large fins on their forearms and calves, as well as something that flexed and pulsed, probably a dorsal fin that could retract and extend. There HAVE to be banshees here. There's no other way. she muttered to herself, trying to figure it out. We should make sure we're back before nightfall...

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

As the pair turns a corner, Christine pauses for a moment as she sees a contingent of strange, clearly aquatic humanoids. At Tam's urging, she stays behind the tree, watching them and listening to the ottergirl. Odd that they don't have light bellies. she idly notes, all the while remembering the tales of sirens she had heard in her own world. Their song seems to ebb and flow, no longer coming from any single direction. "Good idea, lets go right now." the kitsune mutters, starting away from the sirens right away.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Christine and Tam don't have any problems getting away from the sirens as they were entirely preoccupied at the moment and fresh screams were sounding from their direction of the beach along with sickening crunches and cracks. they did not go entirely unmolested however as a beautiful woman slid out of the water onto the beach to look at them. Her skin was almost luminescent blue and her eyes matched, she glowed softly even under the tropical sun and she regarded them both, Tam backing hastily away from the waters edge Dragging Christine with her.

Don't be that way.... I haven't even bitten you yet... most things don't try to wriggle away until it's too late... Haven't had Otter in a long while. she said softly, her voice lisping terribly from what Christine could see was a mouth full of row upon row of razor like teeth and a tongue tipped with a dripping barb.

You are not of the Ship Yes? Wear a spider pouch Yes? Why are you here Yes. she said, tilting her head, her long hair covering her chest while a long scaled tail in place of her legs lazily slid through the surf lapping at her lower body.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Sneaking away from the sirens, Christine nevertheless ends up almost literally stumbling into a mermaid. Following Tam away from the waterline, she stops at what seems like a safe distance. "We came through the caves of chance, actually. We're actually trying to go north, but it seems that we got unlucky." She replies politely.

Ha... Chaos. the mermaid laughed, before sliding into the water and disappearing less then 5 feet out. Her body shimmered, and then a wave passed and the mermaid was gone, Tam breathing a sigh of relief.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Christine blinks as the mermaid vanishes below the waves. "Woah. Spooky." Walking for a bit more, the kitsune makes sure there are no other piles of driftwood nearby. "We should probably go back so Ashlie doesn't have to babysit Dillian all day. We'll need rope to start building, anyway." Squeezing Tam's hand and smiling at the ottergirl, Christine takes the shells she collected and heads back into the jungle, hopefully at or near the same spot where they came from.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Yeah, before the sirens look this way and fuck us to death. Something. Tam said, sounding relieved to be away from the water for once as they tried to find their way back, and managed it without much trouble. The small pouches they wore continued to keep the jungle from grabbing them and despite getting a little turned around, they started to see silk in the trees and followed that back to the village, one of the spiders waving cheerfully at them.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Smiling and waving at the spider, Christine goes to give it a hug, hopefully in exchange of a lift, before finding out what Dillian and Ashleigh are up to.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Christine is eagerly hugged back, the spider nuzzling against her affectionately before starting to reel it's way back up into the trees, Tam getting similar treatment and a bit of a groping on the way up.

This time they were set in a different part of the tree village but their own little set of nests wasn't hard to find and the Driders seemed pleased to see them, though their host wasn't around.

As for what her other friends were up to, Dillian was on the walkways with one of the spiderfolk, talking about bows and the benefit of catgut while the Drider insisted on silk. It was an odd discussion really but they were getting along. Ashlie was another matter as they neared the nests. She was hanging upside down in her own nest, moaning tiredly and almost completely cocooned, her belly heavily swollen. It was her rediculously bushy tail that gave her away. Well then... Tam said, stopping to look up at her, tilting her head.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Giving Dillian a wave when she spots him, Christine heads into their nest, finding Ashlie differently occupied. "She sure didn't waste any time, did she?" Christine mutters, spinning the hanging squirrelgirl around a bit. "Well. What would you like to do, Tam?" the kitsune asks, slowly starting to pull her shirt off.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Swim honestly. But... fuck this place Mistress. Honestly I'd like to just have me to yourself for Once. Just once. she said, her tail twitching as she looked away.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

"Ugh. I'm sweating my tits off." Christine complains as she casts away the shirt. Moving closer to Tam, she pulls the ottergirl to her arms, kissing her softly. "Let's not waste time, then." Looking into Tam's eyes, she kisses her again, more thoroughly this time, her tails wagging on their own accord while she embraces the spicy yet sweet ottergirl, just enjoying the moment.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Nuzzling into Christine, Tam returned the kiss, closing her eyes and melting in Christine's arms, nodding and starting to tug off her own clothing, the ottergirl more then happy to avoid wasting Any time at all.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Helping Tam out of her clothes, Christine kicks her own pants away before kissing her again and helping the ottergirl onto the strange bed. Laying down next to Tam, she leans to kiss her slave while her hands wander to Tam's chest, feeling and touching and caressing.
