I don´t know about ruffle. I´m using the flashplayer 32. There you have to go to control and click on play to start the game when this screen appears. Does ruffle have that too? Maybe right mouse button and play if its possible? Or just use flashplayer 32.
 
There is a much newer 5.7 version of this game
