Coming soon- ror top down shooter

i'm making a simple top down shooter with about 5 levels and with more enemy types as you progress, it's just a simple game, but i expect to have it made soon.

5 levels
5 enemies
5 cg
5 game overs
and a happy ending

not much to show yet, i'll have a minidemo up as soon as i fix that scaling issue on the game over...

expected features include scarce ammo and your choice between wasd+mouse and tank controls...i just love tank controls, i really do, barreytor already shouted at me for daring to conflate the two

first enemy type is futa

excuse plot is some kind of sex virus






controls are mouse to aim, wasd to move, Left click to shoot, and hold right click to reload

update 1, cg for first 2 levels added, and reload sound, starting off the player with 2-3 clips for now, and crates have a random chance of giving more clips

I'm gonna try to have this one finished quickly the full demo will be up to level 3/5
last 2 enemies havent been designed yet but im pretty happy with the futa foxgirls, slimes and hexapus[it only has 6 limbs]

im relying on you guys to tell me how hard level 2 is, i have no good way of testing it, my s key is less broke than my right and down keys but i still dont have good control when playing myself

It's as hard as level one, with the exception of becoming incredibly hard (or outright impossible) if you start the level with a blue blob onscreen.
Otherwise, slimes seem to be slightly faster than foxgirls but you can kite them no problem, even with the projectiles.

PS: Try to change your controls to something else that you can use like UHJK to not hit any broken keys so you can test for yourself.

Honestly level 2 isn't that difficult as long as you take out those slimes and can kite if you have to reload.

The only problem I came across is getting boxed when you need to reload, since you don't have life this is insta rape. But this only happened once to me so I'll say I was at fault with that situation.

Looks interesting nonetheless and will keep an eye on it :)

In your Majo thread you say that this game will go on a multipack in a week or so.
Incidentally, that's around the time this game will take to be made.

So forgive me if I didn't get it right, but doesn't that mean you're going to put the game in a multipack as soon as it gets released?

Because I feel it sounds silly.

if they get it cheaper for buying a bunch of games that means more income for me at once...this is good for people who cant afford the full price too

most people would use the logic that your opting for a smaller payout now over a bigger payout over time, but the offer could lead people to buy the games when normally they wouldn't...it's kinda like the piracy argument... they cant argue lost sales cause they cant prove that person would've bought the game in the first place

Demo is good. I especially liked the 2nd CG, I've seen that pose before :)

I would suggest maybe having an intro screen for each level to introduce the new enemy being added, something for a bit of prep. And for bonus points, having an enemy that only hides in some of the trees would be very nice, so that players would have to gamble about going near them. Whether you take my suggestions or not though I think this will be a fun time.

Also, FYI the CG pics for Majo on your Tumblr don't appear to be working.

all the enemies actually respavvn at like the 3rd closest tree or something, though i can easily make an enemy that alvvays spavvns under a tree and charges vvhen you get close

[my double U key doesnt vvork btvv]

that vvas the first page i made, and those vvere hotlinked... fixed novv hopefully

and finally, if i do that it vvill be chibi images or something

that's because my mega account was hacked.
i don't have this game anymore so you'll have to see if someone else has it.
