I always thought the News thread used to be pretty strange. The articles that would be posted would be non-headline news and nobody would really have an actual discussion, opting instead to just bump the thread randomly with new articles. The discussions I see now are a lot more in line with a typical political discussion on the internet. A lot of passive-aggressive namecalling, hidden behind longwinded, soapbox rants and counterarguments. All I know is that the second Nunu left, all of you were not interesting enough for me to talk to, so I have no interest in moderating whatever's in there these days.

Also, I don't appreciate kittens.

Oh yea I remember that when ol' Dragon was still around, just pages of news articles with few direct replies... Still nice to hear news from different locales. Also, seems mostly Yoshii and Ninjabob doing the flaming wars, got pretty civil when one was banned xD
