Basically you hover your cursor over the title of the forum post and you get a look at the picture that is usually posted from the DLsite or whatever.

Well, if you hover your cursor over the threads at the bottom (Latest post/thread/etc.) you get a look of the first post and it's usually the dlsite picture. It also works on thread sections.
