First of all, I know that I am posting this thread in the wrong section but this thread is related to mature material so I'm fearful to post it in any other threads. I'm sorry if there is a section ready for threads like this.
Well, I need help with handling the Daemon tools. The explanation given by the other thread is helpful, but I still don't understand it.
I need some detailed instruction and more info abut ISO and mounting, screen shots help significantly.
I'm using Windows XP is that is any help at all.
Thanks for your attention

Re: Daemon help

First, open daemon tools.

If you don't have "Mount and drive manager" open, look for the icon on your taskbar and doubleclick.

Click the add file button. It's the CD with a +

Find the iso file you wish to use.

Click the mount button, it's the CD with the play arrow.

Now, your ISO drive should have that file loaded and you can use it.

If you don't have an ISO drive, you need to create one.

You can do this by right clicking the white space below the buttons in the mount and drive manager and selecting add SCSI virtual drive.

P.S. Sorry they're not very detailed instructions, but it's fairly simple steps. I am admittedly using daemon tools lite and that may simplify things, but this is all I have to do in order to run isos.

Thanks for the more detailed instructions.
But I have zero knowledge of the technical terms and functions, Mind explaining the ISO drive and SCSI virtual drive?
EDIT I don't see a CD with a plus on it, and the Daemon tool just opens up to a panel

Re: Daemon help

Here's my quick and dirty picture guide.

Step one; Right-click the Daemon Tools icon on your toolbar.
picture.php

Step two; Set how many virtual drives you want on your computer.
picture.php

Step three; Mount an image.
picture.php

Step four; Make sure you input "All supported images".
picture.php

Step five; Select a file, and open it.
picture.php

Step six; The file should be mounted, and usually comes with a setup that pops up.
picture.php

Step seven; After you're done with it, unmount it.
picture.php

Hopefully it works for you.

Re: Daemon help

picture.php

Press this, and then, when the window pops up, go to the folder containing the file,
picture.php

choose the .iso/whatever file, double-click/click once and press open.
Boom.
Step three-six done.

And, if this doesn't work...
I apologize.
For I fear that, I cannot simplify it anymore. Dx

When you said press this, meaning pressing what?
EDIT: I saw your image urls but they are 1x1 pixel.. That's smaller than a dot "."

The pictures are showing normally, they are clear enough to guide you:)

Re: Daemon help

Thanks for double-checking.
I felt bad, if the pictures weren't working for other people.
