Nina's blow against the oni's weapon isn't enough to snap the iron rod or make him lose grip on it, but Iris' quick slash to the side gets her free. Iliana's bow also sends some disturbance it's way, a wooden shaft sinking into the oni's arm. Now starting to feel the pain, the brute tries to swat at Nina with the weapon, but her shield quickly intercepts the blow.

While they swing at each other, Momi and the ogre exchange attacks, neither managing to score a hit on the opposition. Momi's sword is a bit too slow now, while the shield is still as effective as previously.

"Thanks Iris!" Nina says through the heat of battle, glad to be free of the pincer grip. Wasting little time, Nina redoubles her attack against the Oni, both her and Iris driving him back in a ferocious assault designed to throw him completely on the defensive.

The two of them press the attack in unison, opening attack windows for each other with their distracting blows. The oni is pretty much on it's last legs by now, but Iliana misses her killing strike on the reddish humanoid. The dying oni then pulls out a dramatic comeback at them, hitting a huge blow at the bothersome Iris. The blind girl is unable to dodge in time and is sent flying over the edge of the path, eventually landing into the water several dozen feet below. Only her sword remains, clattering down on the spot where she stood before the strike.

The fight starts to go against Momi as she again fails her strike. A slow recovery costs her a bop to the head from the ogre still going against her.

"You bastard!" Nina yelled and swung aggressively again and again in a blazing flurry, wanting to destroy the oni for hurting Iris with such a forceful blow. She would not stop slashing until the red beast had fallen, and even then there was still the last ogre to take care of.

She wanted to finish the fight quickly now, so that she could make certain that Iris was okay.

Nina tears into the dying oni with fury unbound, killing it quite dead as it falls to the ground under the flurry of blows. With a final grin at her, the blood-soaked oni expires. It looks somewhat happy at this result, knowing that it caused them a blow to remember him by before dying.

Momi's defense falters a bit more, giving the ogre a chance to clobber the wolfgirl over the head again, her own counterattack striking the ogre as well. Iliana's aim fails a second time, as the mistress is clearly bothered by what just happened to Iris.

"Save Iris!" Nina told Iliana in haste as she spun towards the last remaining foe - the ogre that was trading swift blows with Momi. Snarling she lashed out at the brute's head with an overhead hammer swing of her blade, wanting to chop down and split him like a melon.

Nina turns her attention towards the last remaining opponent who's been trading blows with Momi during the encounter. The ogre moves away from Nina's overhead smash, but is then stopped by an arrow to the throat, a distraction big to allow Momi an open attack. The wolfgirl's blade cuts the brute's stomach open, spilling it's entrails out along the way.

As soon as the ogre goes down, Iliana comes over to the two swordgirls. "We shouldn't go jumping in there, the water is right next to the falls. We'll just have to go along the bank to see if we can find Iris. Poor girl..." the mistress tells them, a mask of worry now on her face

Nina's face mirrored Iliana's in her concern for Iris, and immediately followed her mistress down the path that would lead them quickly and safely to where Iris had fallen. She kept her sword and shield out and ready just in case there was more trouble lurking along the way.

The now-depleted group of female adventurers head down the rocky path along the mountainside, Iliana now carrying Iris' dropped blade with her. Once they reach the end of the path, Momi guides them through the undergrowth to the riverbank. The river itself is a fast-flowing stream, so it is unlikely Iris is still there. "We need to head downstream now, if we are to find blind girl." the wolfgirl tells them, as even she is saddened by the dissappearance of her new favorite human.

A few hours of hiking along the bank later, they trio come to face a rather grizzly sight in the gloom of the evening now slowly settling across the landscape. A long-dead skeleton of a humanoid is suspended in a tree, many of the fibrous tendrils inside the departed being's ribcage. "Eeeeh...." Momi says at them as she looks at the deceased. "This can be lucky, or extremely bad how you look at it... If the plants here have seen Iris in the river, she's on land now, but.. they will likely be implanting their offspring into her. I don't know if she can handle that kind of abuse..."

The long trek along the riverbank had been gloomy and heartbreaking... to be swept this far down the river for so long... wouldn't Iris with her frail body have lost its strength? Pulled down and drowned by the force of the current? She shuddered at the thought of it.

But the wolf-girl seemed to be on the scent... and that kept a glimmer of hope up as the hours went by. Her heart skipped a beat when she saw the skeleton hung oddly in the trees above the river, and Momi's explanation did not comfort her.

"We need to find her quickly then!" Nina said urgently. "What do these horrible plants look like, Momi?"

Her eyes scanned the banks looking for any sign of disturbance or unnatural rustling that could indicate the whereabouts of her lost friend. She barely registered the whole plant-impregnation thing. She didn't want to dwell too much upon it. She hoped it wouldn't be an issue, and that they would get to Iris before such awful things happened to the poor girl.

Momi nods at Nina's urging, pressing forward a bit faster now. Keeping her weapon drawn, the wolfgirl explains things about the plant creatures. "Well, the creatures themselves look like a hunched-over humanoid composed of vines and plant matter, with a big, vividly-coloured flower where a human's face should be. Momi heard they lash you with their long tendril-vines and use some sort of arousal-inducing mist as a weapon as well." As they progress, a few more skeletons come along their way, all hanging from the trees in a similar fashion as the first one. Otherwise the trail is clear from any kind of distractions. "The monsters use a few trees as a type of gathering point, infusing them with a corrupting presence and turning them into breeding devices. The plants themselves don't do any off that stuff. " Momi reveals a bit more about the life and habits of the thingies in question.

A little while later, now deeper in the forest, the group find the girl they've been looking for. Iris hangs from a twisted tree, vines suspending her from her wrists and knees, keeping the girl's legs spread. Her pants have been torn away, an amber-coloured thick coating of sap plugging the girl's lower parts, keeping the whatever seed the the tree has been pouring into her inside. A semi-translucent vine has pushed itself inside her mouth, a swelling travelling along the tube-like vine and eventually going into the blind girl's mouth. Iris' small frame is bloated monstrously, the liquid inside her having filled her way past the normal limits and ripped her shirt open to give room for the inflating belly. Even in the low light of dusk, the three can see the tears on Iris' cheeks. She's clearly been having a lot of unwanted attention given to her

Before they can attempt any rescue, a tall, flower-topped creature bursts from the ground between them, not intent on letting them have the newest babymaker back. With a release of pollen around it, the plant monster starts to make way towards them.

The sight of Iris being held so helplessly and clearly abused made the normally cheery Nina very angry. She wanted to cut Iris away from the plant and free her from all that nasty fluid, but first she would have to deal with this plant guardian.

She drew as deep a breath as she could before the pollen could reach her and resolved to hold her breathing for as long as she could so as to not inhale the arousal-inducing mist that Momi had warned her about.

Having taken her deep breath, she closed in rapidly towards the plant monster, swinging and hacking at it, determined to shred it in quick order so that she could rescue her companion.

Momi darts forward, keeping up pace with Nina as they both try to take their weapons to the viney monster facing them. The creature manages to sidestep Nina's slash, giving Momi the chance to capitalise and hack a piece off the thing. Iliana sinks an arrow into the huge flower's center, making the monster withdraw a bit.

The soundless guardian pulls it's tendrils back before swiping them forward, giving both Nina and Momi a painful lash as the thick vines grab them, holding them fast.

Nina was expecting the plant monster to move fast, but it wasn't enough to simply be prepared for it. The creature still managed to avoid her own attack and send a stinging lash across her body, making her grit her teeth to stifle a cry of pain.

Instead of simply attacking, Nina concentrated purely on escaping the vines, not wanting to let the plant get a stronger grip on her. Once she was free, she would begin slashing again.

Nina shrugs the grasping tendril off her with relative ease, Momi failing to hit with the attack she thought would free her. Before the plant can bring more vines to restrain the girl, Iliana's bow sends another arrow into the creature and releasing the wolfgirl from her troubles.

The flowery assailant spews another cloud of pollen around itself as it swipes at the girls again. Momi's shield intercepts the lashing vine this time, but Nina receives another whipping, ending back in the creature's grip. The girls can't help but breathe in the aphrodisiac mist now, both of them feeling the lust in their bodies.

It seemed the vine guardian was determined to put up a spirited fight, and Nina was bearing the brunt of its vigor, taking another stinging whipping from the vines and once again being caught up by it. It seemed that Iliana's shafts could loosen its grasp however, so Nina decided to risk an attack now that she was the only one in immediate danger of being strung up. She raised her sword high and brought it down, hoping to sever the vines tangling her waist and legs.

The creeping plant swats Nina's sword aside as she tries to hack into it, keeping the girl in it's clutches a short while longer, until Momi's blade gouges another clump off the things mass. Letting Nina go, it backs up a bit to give itself room away from the nasty sword. The mistress' bow fails to inflict any proper damage, going through a flower petal harmlessly.

Another release of pollen accompanies the lashes, which both girls manage to fend off, their shields up to the task of protecting them from the clingy vines. But they can't shield themselves from the lingering cloud, which works itself into them, raising their arousal a bit more.

"Ah... the pollen..." Nina finally inhaled a significant whiff of it, and the sudden headiness rushed through her, causing sudden images to flash through her mind. She thought of the stinging welts on her flesh beneath her clothes where the vines had snapped at her and imagined herself caught up amongst the flora, naked and taking more whipping to her bare flesh, across her breasts, on her thighs and buttocks, even the occasional whipping of her tender flesh between her legs. Another deep inhale, and then in her mind she was in Iliana's basement chamber, dressed up in a leather harness and riding a wooden horse while being flogged...

The distracting thoughts plagued her as she struggled to hone in on her enemy and bring her blade into contact with it for the first time all fight. Desperate to make the pollen stop before she got to hot and bothered, she launched herself straight into the creature with a huge slashing swing of her weapon.

Even with her mind wandering in naughty images, Nina succeeds in cutting into the guardian, sending a huge chunk flying from the creature's mass. Stepping aside, she let's Momi step in. The wolfgirl is likely as aroused as Nina is, but fights it away as she hols her sword with both hands, a diagonal cut taking the plant apart. As the guardian pieces fall into the ground, the girls are now safe from further attack, free to rescue the inflated Iris from her torturous imprisonment.

Her heated body panting with exertion, Nina quickly darted over to the imprisoned Iris and quickly cut the tube that was inserting some vile contents into the blind girl's mouth. Then tearing it away so as to allow Iris to breath, Nina hugged the girl gently.

"Iris! Iris, it's Nina. Iliana, Momi and I found you... oh Iris, you're going to be all right. We're going to get you down from here!"

As she spoke these words of comfort she undid the natural bonds holding Iris in place, cutting the vines away with her sword if they did not easily give way.

"Please be ready for when I cut the last strands," she said to Iliana and Momi behind her. "I don't know if I can handle all her weight from this position. Momi, you're quite strong, so take her legs, I'll get her arms."

Eventually, they managed to lower Iris to the ground. Hesitantly, Nina pointed out the hardened amber that was plugging Iris up. "We should remove that and let her release whatever is inside of her."

With a trembling hand, Nina picked at the amber, being careful not to remove it too quickly, for fear that it might be stuck too tightly to Iris' nether bits. She didn't want to further hurt Iris after all that she must have gone through.
