Hate to necro this thread, but does anyone know what happened to the artist? The dev blog vanished as did any word of the sequel.

Hm. Their blog is removed, which I vaguely recall had some updates on a new game plan, but I think also mentioned they had found a job.

I suspect it's a variation on the usual story "boy meets company, company makes an offer boy can't refuse, boy now doesn't have time for game development and deletes blog out of concern it could be traced back and people got the idea he's not working hard."
So I'd suspect we've lost this one for the time being, but they may appear out of nowhere again at some point. We'll see. Didn't they even have a forum account here at some point?

Of course, I have no hard evidence for any of this, so it may all be quite wrong.
