I take a look at the trailer, and I see animations..
What I didn't see, were finishing animations..

Iunno, maybe I've just got some insanely high standards, but unless there's struggle mechanics involved, a short animated loop of combat rape isn't going to tickle my fancy.

To me, hentai games are like buying a nice whore to come visit your house. In that respect, RoR (and some POV reverse-rape) games are the full package. You get sex, and you get to finish, it's all there.

And games like this, are more like a badly-teasing lap dance. You can give as many wonderful loops of animation as you want, but if the player doesn't feel "involved" in it, then it really is just random hentai clips being handed to them, with a bit of scrappy paper with "enjoy" written on it.

If there isn't struggle mechanics, how does one even fap to it? If I wanted to watch hentai, I'd watch hentai, but when I want to play as a male character getting his dick rode, sucked, or rubbed until he cums while I have control over whether or not he resists, I play a reverse-rape game..

There needs to be a new name for games like this, the kind that technically have reverse rape in the same way a sandwich with nothing but bread is technically edible.

For games like ero night, parade buster, princess doll, and Onnanoko6, we'll call them "animated reverse rape games"..

And for games like this, the "P.D Creations" one, ROBF and others like them, we'll call them "Blue-ball teasy games."..

Just to clarify, by menu he means the in-game menu when you're roaming around the map.

I expect Dieselmine to release fix patches soon because their fighting system is incredibly glitched.

I've finished the whole game and so far, both the Kitsune, the steam girl and the Lamia just self-destructed on the first turn, allowing me to win the fight instantly. Kinda hilarious to be honest.

Furthermore you can just cheese your way out of the fight because every time you get stunned you can just use a regular attack and that will insta-kill the boss, that works for all of them (this is how I beat literally 90% of the bosses).

Uh... what? Your complaint seems to be... a lack of cumshots and struggle mechanics? But this game has both? (and so does ROBF for that matter, more so than Ero night even, so how is that in your category 2?)

The gameplay for this one was really repetitive. Most of the Cgs and animation are ruined due to poor viewing angles or poor positioning. Slime girl was the best girl . Even worse is that all bosses have 2 defeat scenes meaning you have to lose the first time then play badly enough to trigger the second defeat scene. It should be noted the second defeat event doesn't really have all that much difference in CG just some extra voice clips.

It's nice to see different artists work for them, including the guy who made Sequel Blight no less. I hope they go back to giving each girl 2 H events, the animations are really nice but everything feels short without enough content between each of the girls. I don't mind the gameplay personally, an afterthought to be sure but at least they didn't make it annoying.

The fun thing is that they tried to make a harem H-scene with girls drawn by different artists. So you end up with a very heterogeneous CG. I'm not criticizing the artists by any means but I have to admit seeing 5 different art styles in 1 CG feels kinda weird

Completed the game, got very repetitive towards the end. The RPG combat mechanic was pretty much tacked on where its insta lose the first time and insta win the next round. The artstyles were a hit and miss as well. At least the final boss' h scenes were very well worth it

Well, you got me curious, so I actually took a look at the game.
Yes, it does have struggle mechanics.. That is definitely a check on the list.

But.. What I didn't see, were finishing animations.. Even with struggle mechanics, if all you get is some white flashes and a still picture when the player cums, that's just not very enticing.. It's the lazy method of producing a cumshot in hentai games..

Granted, not all of the "good" combat-rape/reverse-rape hentai games have them, but stuggle mechanics and animated cumshots are like a horny couple on prom night.. They were just made for each other..

If nothing else this game moves up a tier to "barely nominal reverse rape game", sitting next to titles such as MogiOrigins, and Succubus Maze.

MogiOrigins would be right up there with the greats.. *cough* When it's finished.. But until then, it's like the tech demo for a zombie survival game in the late 2000's.. Barely-made, and the vague promises of content updates feel like the cold stiff breeze of the ocean shore, reminding you just how far away you are from another land.. A land where shit actually gets done.

But hey, this is all coming from the perspective of a person who plays hentai games "just" to fap to them.. Obviously there's more to them than that, or we'd have never evolved past demon girl.. .. Ah, but those were better days.. Back when "story" was a forbidden word in hentai country, and anyone who played a hentai game for the plot or only played one with significant context like those god-awful meet-n-fuck games were corralled in a separate room titled "The Weirdo Den", and never spoken of publicly.

Having a plot works for porn, because porn isn't interactive.. All you CAN do is watch, so context is a useful catalyst.. But with a game, you control the character, which is why there is a sexual thrill to be gotten when offered to resist temptation, and not doing so.. This is the true meaning of struggle mechanics, and the animated cumshot is basically the reward for those who failed to resist. The proverbial icing on the cake, if you will..
