Small QoL updates for those unaware:
VISA presumably stopped giving DLsite shit and is now once again accepted and can be used as a payment method.

Items are still being region-locked, but only in searches/circle pages. If you have a direct link to the product page, you can view it now without an error message.

you sure about those update?
some item that i have and got region-locked, as of just now, is still region-locked. I cannot access it without JP VPN
as for VISA, that will up for DLsite to provide the option to pay with VISA again, and i checked just now and it still not available

Maybe it's region specific? Currently in Canada.

I am able to do all of the things listed above, including pay with VISA. This started a month ago, I just thought no one bothered to post an update in the thread.

Also attached a screenshot to kinda prove I'm not going crazy. Censored the thumbnails as while the products aren't marked loli or whatever, it is a bit borderline.

In my experience as of right now, some tags are blocked completely, and some tags you can access them if you have direct links. Just tested it to remind myself, as a US resident, the loli, or 'petite' as it was briefly called, tag is accessible through direct links (the tag won't be there anymore and you can't search for the tag, but it's obvious which ones used to have it), but the 'school' tag gets completely blocked.

As an example, despite having purchased the games and the characters definitely not being loli, if I go to my purchase history and try to access the page I can't see The Resurrected Exorcist Maiden, or Taimamiko Yuugi or any of Unko morimori maru's works, because the characters wear school girl uniforms.

If I check a page like Black Panda's however, I may only see the one game that didn't technically get tagged loli, but by using direct links I can access the page for the other games, because they are tagged for loli, but not for school. It's incredibly stupid and arbitrary, but it is what it currently is.

Visa and Mastercard do seem to be back as options in the checkout however. I haven't personally gotten them to work despite trying, but I suspect that's more a problem on the side of my card and it got blocekd as fraud, and I just can't be bothered to fix it when I have a working way to buy points.

Already mentioned, but there is a difference between dev/circle given tags (the ones with the other info) and tags used in reviews, dev tags are subjected to the block thing, review tags will remove products from search and circle pages but still can be accessed via URL, favorites, etc.

I've been able to buy stuff on DLsite with VISA, though I have to make the purchase in a Chromium browser (Chrome and Brave both work); the card verification service that DLsite uses now isn't compatible with Firefox and will fail to verify the purchase.

Edit: It's comical that the hard block is on schoolgirls and not lolis. You'd think it'd be both but I guess the lolicon market is insanely lucrative.

Well, "loli" in Japanese is the short of Lolicon, meaning Lolita lover. And Japanese and English (and most westerner meaning of the term) differ.
In all the european language I quickly checked on-line, Lolita can be sumarize as "a term defining a young girl as "precociously seductive". It doesn't necesarily imply underage.
Which would be why the loli tag don't block the page acess why schoolgirls (who are underage) is blocked.

Although that's an explanation based on the semantic interpretation of the word, not the legal one (sorry, law is a specific domain with lot of specialized term. Now way I was going to waste that much time on that....).

Are we talking DLSite? Loli/Petite is still blocked, along with some school related tags.

Ah, so my Visa might work if I use Chrome not Firefox? Thanks for the heads up, I'll definitely try that with my next purchase. I use Firefox for most things.
