Not much of a MMO, you don't interact with other players except in pvp (comming soon). Pretty much is single player

Yeah, you don't have to interact with anybody.
Just be sure that you're a patient person, this game is a grindfest.

Just make sure you add some of us as friends, again you don't have to interact or even talk with anybody.
As mentioned in the first post you gain important benefits, the gacha points for example... trust me you'll tear your hair out, if you wan't to lvl up properly without them, later on.

Other than that... just singleplayer... and real money isn't necessary, just speeds things up, so that shouldn't frighten you out either.

Thanks for the help with hell mode, I thought the first button was normal mode and the second was hell.... And nothing ever showed up under the second one, hence my confusion :) I guess I'll stick with mindlessly grinding 15-6 since it's cheaper in terms of ST than hell mode. Just finished playing Banner Saga though so I'll have to find another game to play while I'm grinding....

Oh, fun fact, XCOM Enemy Within has tentacle monsters.

Well good thing I'm saving finding her for last now :p I already ran here an extraordinary amount of times, but I'm sure a lot of you know what it's like to try to find her.

SHE DOES EXIST OUTSIDE GACHA. I've run it about as much as I ran 15-6 (Over a week, but it's also a lot cheaper to run.). Sometimes it becomes difficult to trust the wiki, haha. So happy that's one more R down I didn't have. Now just Revoica and the new R and I'm finished :D Now I finally have something to look forward to~ I'll be keeping her even if she isn't great.

the legend is true!. I thought she was just a myth but it's true, Congrats!! :)
now I will try to get her, I hope to get lucky :D

While on the subject of PvP.
I find that it would be most intriguing to face off against someone and if you get close, instead of killing Tentacle, some new mini-game that is PvP only.
Like, some last line of Defense for someone that's on the losing side.
But this is just my two cents.

I do want to say, you haven't added me to the friendlist on the frontpage yet. Quite discomforting but also a benefit, since I get to choose my friends, mwa ha ha.

FYI:

Most of hell mode appears to be speculation. There is unsubstantiated rumors suggesting that SR cards can drop, but if so, we haven't had any reliable sources of confirmation.

Insofar as normal mode go, has efficiency of ST/EXP. So 15-6 is good because it's the biggest chunk, but 13-5 is slightly more cost effective.

No developer comments on hell mode I take it? It would make sense if SR girls could drop on the higher level maps but sense and game design rarely go together.

That table doesn't take gold into account. Good to know if you have everything maxed and just want to finish evolving all the girls though. Need to remember that link :)

Not to mention that so far this is basically a single player game. I would personally much prefer facing a real player but it doesn't seem likely since none of the underlying player interaction mechanics seem to be there. i.e. there's no player interaction at ALL. So they would have to implement a new system unless it's something along the lines of clicking on someone on your flist and asking to fight them.

I'm seeing people making Jean heavy decks to slaughter all the Elf heavy ones if it's player vs AI with player deck.

Actually, it only makes sense from their perspective if the rate exists, but is so low that players will resort to buying tickets to get who they want. AFAIK having a SR girl is sort of "prestigious" on their forums because of how rare they are.

The devs appears to answer questions only when players rage too much. They typically will offhandedly comment on something when shutting a thread down - e.g. "we have not adjusted drop rates and will always tell our customers in a public announcement if we plan to do so".

This game's popularity will skyrocket if they do PVP right. DMM has some very interesting browser-based games already, and the potential for strategy is extraordinary. I've been playing with unorthodox strategies and builds, and to quote a Japanese saying: with enough love anything can become godly.

Fundamentally speaking, you have two resources (three counting your tentacle special attack) to manage: energy and cooldown. You have little control over field presence with the exception of when you deploy your girls, but the parameters of your girls - e.g. knowing how fast something moves so you can anticipate engagement positions - can make or break a stage, and momentum is everything in this game.

Ranged units give you exactly that. Every Elfella that you put on the field from the moment she appears is basically free damage, which will stack up very quickly. You cannot expect to beat enemy range if you just rush forward, so your only options are to overwhelm in a single charge (not likely), circumvent their wall using special units (so your game becomes protecting your teleporters/dodgers using walls), or to counter-artillery barrage (which with the exception of Beelze, your only real option for long-range bombardment is still Elfella because the others have flat projectiles).

For instance, I farm 15-6 with nothing but R and SR girls. No zerg spam because I personally think spamming weak units does nothing except for buying you time, which gives your opponent a chance to snowball even harder. I'm currently waiting for a few more of the nurse to show up so I can test a heal-stacking team, but yeah, it's surprising to see how complex the game is.

Not even very necessary, assuming that the AI deck has the same energy recovery cap as the player. You can just wait until they reach near your base then summon your girls as a mob to clean them up one by one like in stage mode.

You bet that elfea is gonna be nerfed hard in PvP, they hit way too hard for their range.

The pvp battles will be probably similar to the Low pvp battles.
You fight against an opponent who is not necessarily online.

(Seems to mention area 16-18, as well as R and SR cards)
Either way, I'm too low-level still to take advantage of it:(

seems like those Amakusas from Kanu last stage droppable. gotta test it out now

@ anyone looking to farm gold - 16-6, the SR girl drops 3k gold. Easily the highest amount I remember as the SR girls in hell mode only dropped 1k ish. Also spawns evovled sarutobis worth 700? gold
