Well... If everyone comes to find 100% save games then there is a demand.
But if it's not satisfied then there is no supply... Simple, but where is the reason?

Ironically, also as simple. I think I posted 100% save once, but I do have more than few games with such saves and never posted them. It's the last thing I had in mind to do. Played the game, had fun with it (or not), end of story. Why should I bother? Anyone can play the game...

So... Why people prefer 100% saves instead of playing the damn thing? Well... Also simple: A lot of porn games are stupidly grindy, to the point of being annoying, without actual focus on anything besides grind and few porn scenes. Of course no one wants to play that when actual content is about 2h long while with grind it takes 5-6h.
"So people should post saves to spare others the same fate!". Umm... yes and no, life isn't cutesy and fun, same goes for people. Grinding is a dickish move to extend gameplay, when used reasonably it's okay. So how do you combat that? Do a dick move yourself, learn how to cheat engine and such. Games that are good don't require using cheats, you are having too much fun to bother. That manages itself on personal basis.

Basically, there is no real need for 100% saves, just an extra effort to learn "how to" few things in case someone can't stand grind or not even wanting to play the game.

If games aren't being updated or made, there isn't much to discuss. Alot of games I made threads for are either dead, or in a state where no new updates are on the horizon.

I don't think it's because people are "outgrowing" hentai. The next generation of zoomer coomers are growing up with FOBS and diesel-mine games. And that one werewolf girl game that's always getting updated like 5 years later.

I just think it's because BBS or forums are actually just horribly outdated. I use this site because it covers a variety of games, and specifically the type I like. I use it to find new ones. Log in and be pleasantly surprised "hey this guy made his first game, and it's GOOD". "WOW, no way!" Though I haven't searched, I guarantee there's some hentai gaming subreddit. There's also discord servers for specific games. So if you wanted to discuss those, just go on discord. No need to make a thread somewhere else.

Cheat Engine doesn't "fix" games that requires multiple playthroughs to get all of the h-scenes though, so yes there is still a need for 100% saves.

I will have to disagree.
Maybe I just didn't came across a game that was like that, but it never was an issue. Other thing could be that I love games that have branching stories (mainly VNs) and amount of saves I usually do is way too damn high. Faster to load game in certain point than going through everything again.
But, if the game requires you to play it all over again, because just seeing scene after loading doesn't unlock it globally - then the game is badly designed.

If you have any specific title in mind that isn't "fixed" by combination of cheat engine and mutliple saves then I would gladly take a look at it, maybe even figure a solution that doesn't require 100% save but still allows you to play ""normally"". If you can't remember any specific title - that's fine, there are shitload of eroge out there, so it's easy to forget (even I have few I forgot about and never bought and it's eating me from inside xD)

Are you certain that is the name of the game? Searching for it gives nothing (too broad of a name, even with h-game generic tags).

It's a combination of enforcing standards and not being the only "trustworthy" site in terms of malware and such. I mean, go to the hypnopics collective and tell me our site isn't leagues better in terms of posting standards, enforcement, etc, and that's not even taking into account aesthetic and user-friendly design. The issue stems from devs not wanting to take criticism that isn't immediately followed up by blatant ass-kissing, as if hurting their feelings will somehow cause a centuries-long drought of fetish-specific content. ULMF has improved by leaps and bounds in terms of that, as have Fenoxo's forums. Another thing I've seen between the two is a sudden drop-off of "I want x type of game" request threads. Either people were being warned or were finding their constant content-request threads being flooded with "stop being a lazy cunt" posts after a while.

The problem is, not all the forums that host h-games are as willing to enforce posting standards that hold everyone accountable and aggressively demand Devs be a lot more responsible in terms of communication and providing details in their OPs. Going back to the collective forum, I was banned for heavy skepticism directed towards devs who posted half-assed tech demos and demanded patreon bucks. The fact that a community will rush to defend a scam with no guarantee of anything coming from it is concerning. It also provides an exploitable resource for these people that won't dry up anytime soon.

A final problem that has already been touched upon in this thread is the lack of unique content. A lot of devs are currently over-saturating the market with trainer games, or resource-management games, or generic rpg #3467. Necessarily, we don't need 400+ monster girl or battlefuck games; but, I also don't want some generic "defeat these monster girls and train them like Pokemon" game, either. We have Pussymon. It's a shit game. I don't want a Protag-dom mind control game. We have 300+ of those already, and most of them are garbage. I don't want to read a fucking novel between strokes. I'm not alone, either.

Basically, most devs are lazy cunts nowadays and want the easiest buck for the least amount of effort. Unfortunately, there is no discouragement from over-saturating the market when we have dumbasses who post dumb shit like "this generic rpg/trainer/breeder/resource-management game is so unique from the billions of others! I wish there were more!"

There is also r/eroge , although seem to be used mainly for exposure purposes (Youtubers and normies alike). I don't think Reddit is a good platform for hentai games, not with its user base.

But whatever, F95 does come with a lot of 3d-assets VNs. I still don't understand why people could give such cheap art a high rating...do they understand how much work the artists have done for all those 2d arts? I am not saying creating 3d arts are easy and less time consuming, but those products, those are not created by the developers themselves from nothing, those are premaded assets that are easily available and accessable for a low price. And why VN without VA? You are reading a book with still pictures and nothing else. We are living in an era where the largest entertainments are moving pictures with voices!
