Re: Dragon Ball?
Maybe to you, but the only time I have EVER even considered FEAR series entertaining was watching my drunken stoned friend play... He was already paranoid... "Am I falling out out of this chair?" Blitzed out of his mind...
"Ah, the fucking light jumped at me! Didn't you see the line?"
Lolwut?
But anyways,
Flickering lights, blood stainy words on the wall... Both games have that...
Big difference between the two would be one game's enemies are dumb psuedo navy seal looking guys with glowing red eyes and stealth technology...
As opposed to a human mutated into a blade swinging limb rending lumberjack from another hell planet...
End of game boss?
A little girl ghost... That ripped Eves incineration on proxy abilty from Parasite Eve that you can somehow beat by unloading two clips of submachine gun on...
The other? The wormlike creature from the Core of the planet that WILL eat you rip you to pieces or simply smash you to paste and only has timed weak points... All the while a sizable chunk of the planet is falling down from orbit to add a sense of impending doom
So overall maybe it could be considered more an action game (Technically all shooters are action games too though...Unless its a rail shooter...) than FEAR but its just got more to it... More grusome scenes, Less predictablity... Oh look another mission... How are my new teamates gonna die this time and leave me stranded and alone yet again... Better weapons in Dead Space... To dismember is to remember! Better enemies for sure... Except maybe the ridiculously funny Kamikaze bomb armed Necromorphs... (For Allah! What? you shot my arm/bomb off? Fuck!) And about a hundred different gore strewn death scene animations... Instead of just one...
