RPG RPG Maker [Dreamwhizz] Warrior's Quest

I just finished playing this game and thought it warranted its own thread. It's called "Warrior's Quest" by Dreamwhizz. He just came out with a new version of the game last month that added a lot of new features.

It's a really great game with its own art and animated sprites as you can see from the screenshots below. It's like a hybrid of Harvest Moon with traditional RPG elements. I hope you guys enjoy this as much as I did.

I saw this game a while back and, despite being having great potential, I stopped playing and lost interest pretty quickly.

Why is that?

Well...mainly because the author specifically said on the blog that he is putting this game on hold until further notice.

So, gameplay is good, sprite sex is good but unfortunately, there is a real possibility that this is the last we're gonna see of this game.

A shame.

I was going to give this demo a try, but the download link on the site seems to be down and I've only found other posts with that same link. Happen to have an alternate download location?

I actually did have this lying around and have been quietly following the blog for progress, I'm still hoping it will to get updated.

You'll need the English version of the RPG VX(I think?) RTP to run the game and 7zip to extract the archive.

Huh.I'll look into that then, for now though, I'd upload it to mediafire again, but they're strict on that. Some people have issues with Mega as well, so I'm not too sure where else I should put it up at.

When I did played it, I used the RPG Maker Save Editor to get myself 9000 gold to start out with. It seems to glitch the game, unfortunately. (Went from level 5 to level 99 after playing for some time)

Dreamwhizz said he actually plans to complete the game, but it probably won't be done in the near future. Hopefully he will finish it one day

How exactly do you upgrade your reputation with people? I am just going along doing the quests, but have no idea if my reputation is getting better or not, and have no idea how to know.

You can only increase your "reputation" or "affection" with the 5 main girls (Bianca, Ryoko, Marion, Lisa, Rebecca/Beca). You can do this by gifting them their favorite items from your inventory; however, Lisa will also gain affection from doing Hunting Missions with her.
