A authorised (commercial) remake of the already known "Fairy Fighting" game, using a new engine.
-Will have *Few* additions like some spritework and gallery, planned to have simplified controls, but nothing that could justify or connvince you into paying for it.
-Removal of playable monsters characters iof the select roster due to potential problems (at least for now, accordingly to the author),
-since this version is commercial, it will have censorship, due to the selling site's policies. no plans for uncensor patches.

-About gameplay: (cortesy of super_slicer)

"Since I'm familiar with this game I'm going to just provide the gameplay description myself. Feel free to remove this and put your own.
Gameplay: A 2d fighting game where you can play as either a fairy or various monsters. When playing as the fairy you progress through stages attempting to defeat opponents with force and struggle out of their sexual attacks. When playing as one of the monsters you use a variety of sexual attacks to debuff and defeat the fairy, depending on which move you use to reduce her health to 0 you can get different defeat scenes. "

-The game is set to be lauched about april 2025.

Honestly it wasn't that the commands were too complex but that their input windows were a bit jank iirc. As for difficulty; most of the enemies wouldn't have been as frustrating if either: grabs weren't such a pain to get out of ( I don't know about you guys but I got tired of mash button 3 dozen times to escape before I'd ever played FF ) or there weren't as lethal and time-consuming. The former option is preferable, probably something like enter the correct series of 10 or so buttons to escape.

Really hope this comes out well. Fairy Fighting is one of those games that I repeatedly come back to every few months, but it has gradually grown less stable as technology advances and updates. It often crashes after a couple rounds these days, and I fear the day I try to run it and it just doesn't work. Used to be I could play through the whole game and while there was occasional crashes they weren't practically inevitable like they seem to be now.

I am absolutely getting this when it comes out.

I wonder who the other developer is then, since the page says it's being remade by someone else, unless Google Translate is fucking up of course. Don't see anything about new enemies on the DLSite page, but I'd be incredibly happy if that turns out to be true! This is still one of my favorite H games ever and I'm excited to see it get some more love. I would mostly just appreciate an updated AI and added content after all this time. More enemies and more movies (just please, don't give everything to Fallen Fairy again...).

As for difficulty, pretty much every single enemy were easily cheesed by various strategies. Just FF HK, HK mash and QCF HP is enough to destroy the vast majority of them. Even Raper Beast, by far the most difficult one if you ask me, is trivialized through parrying. FC Boss dies to LK mashing on his block, because it does a billion chip for some reason!

And as for mashing @super_slicer, you could just press left and then hold right and the game would automatically mash at max speed, making everything trivial to escape unless you're incredibly low on health. Fun fact: if you do this when at mid health range against Frost Wolf's mounting move, you'll get out of it just as he knots you, leaving him hanging in the air knotting nothing, giving you a free opening to attack him. I personally find the "stress" of having to avoid grabs and getting out in time to be part of what makes the game as gratifying and hot as it is.

The new author is れんこん/"Lotus Root" and they are apparently fully responsible for the port to whatever the remake engine will be. According to their ci-en page, all inquiries about the remake should be directed to Lotus Root.

Eluku is acting solely as a sprite artist for the remake (while Tsuyuta Kome is doing the game over CGs), if I understand correctly. I'm assuming they'll both be doing higher res versions but could be easily wrong.

I'm curious if "Lotus Root" is the pen name for an experienced developer?

lol, they want to put fucking Fairy Fighting on Steam? I guess they'll have to have a censored version for Steam then?

Haha, that does work though it takes longer than manually mashing. After refreshing my memory ( it's been a tick since I played ) I don't think calling FF too difficult is quite right as it seems to put the onus on the player, more like the odds are wholly stacked in the monster's favor:
1. most monster moves supercede tiki's quicker attacks so unless you're using the specific one that monster can't deal with enjoy being interrupeted
2. they each have a "I win if I hit" move ( though in later stages they're much easier to dodge or interrupt ) that they can use even if you've wiped the floor with them up till that point as they
3. get SP from you attacking
4. they regen HP with their grapples so they can easily turn the tide of the match if the CPU decides to spam
5. quite a few of the monster grapples you struggle out of leave you unable to do anything for long enough that they can just grapple you again ( making 4 all the worse )

These 5 things are what elevates fairy fighting from a fighting game into a fairy rape simulator. I'll admit that I'm well out of practice with fighting games and I did manage to win a few fights but it was frustrating to say the least, not helped by being unable to skip the "I win" moves or defeat scenes quickly. Now thematically I don't really have a complaint but if the dev themselves is asking "Is this too difficult?" I've gotta reply that they've stacked the deck and while my previous comment still applies and would go far enough to mitigate frustration, if they're looking to make a fair fighting game ( one where I'd be willing to actually fight my way through the stages instead of just using stages select) they'd need to remove some of the aces they've placed in the CPU's hand. Give tiki i-frames after grapple escape or allow immediate player control, don't reward the CPU for being a punching bag and allow escape from all grapples quick enough that neither partie's HP is affected more than say 10% ( I don't care how much SP you spend you really shouldn't have an "I win now" move ).

Tough again, if the dev wants to create a fariy rape simulator I've no complaints as long as I've got access to stage select.

I think "Fairy Rape Simulator" was always the point; Tiki actually has a pretty good move set but she is grossly outmatched in every single one of those fights. She's the strongest fairy in a world where that isn't worth very much.

Lotus Root has already mentioned in their answers on their Ci-en that the stage select will be immediately available, along with the infinite HP and SP cheats.

Heh. They have a comment about how they're not sure if they even can sell this on Steam and they're looking into it.

It absolutely is stacked against you. It's reminiscent of older arcade games that way, such as the original Mortal Kombat trilogy (not the game Trilogy, haha), where people didn't "fight" the AI, they cheesed it, which is how you can very consistently beat this game as well. Difference is that this game isn't trying to rob you out of your nickels and dimes, this one is trying to get your rocks off. For me personally, I want it to be a "Fairy Rape Simulator". I typically play these games for the degenerate content, rather than to play a well-balanced, well-designed 1 on 1 fighting game, despite fighting games being some of my favorite games out there. I fully understand it's not for everyone though. Hopefully they'll strike a good balance which can make both sides relatively happy.

I don't want it to be balanced, I just want the monsters to be way less jank to play as

Maybe in upcoming updates, since they stated in the Ci-en that in the way the game works now, playing with monsters would just break the game :3

hummmm, I suspect that this 2nd skin must be inspired/be a reference to Nokundhi, a character from Yakouga series that I can guess everybody here knows about :D

Can't wait for what it'll looks like!

I like esp the first boss's where it catch you and pumped you

It'll actually be coming out on Steam (there's even already a Steam page) but the Steam release will come an unspecified amount of time after the DLsite release - since Lotus Root will need to change the loli characters into not-lolis before Steam will permit the sale.

I think "Fairy Rape Simulator" was always the point;
Yeah i agree with this and i like that it's unbalanced/unfair for Tiki. It's meant to be a struggle for Tiki so if you're also struggling as the player then it's working as intended. I suck at fighting games so i play the easy version of the game, but i still have a hard time winning. That's a good thing assuming i like the content of the stage--which is why i only play stage select mode so that i'm not getting frustrated losing and seeing content that turns me off.

Liar Liar, pants of fire
There's literally no new animations, only reharshed textures, gallery mode instead of playable monsters and CENSORSHIP

Yeah, after actually looking at the FAQ... this is just a port to a new engine with a ton of downgrades that Eluku isn't involved with at all.

it somehow reminds me what happened with Vanguard princess; in the sense of being a great game that were always free, but someone wanted to make it commercial via "updating" it adding few things but cutting a lot more, and in the end not making it actually better than the free version.

let's see what happens, if the game turns out to be worthy a purchase or if sticking in the free version is better :3

Should probably correct all the misinformation you've got in the OP in the meantime.
