FGT Scat Loli Ryona Guro [Eluku] Fairy Fighting

Re: Fairy Fighting

I tried to play this game constantly for awhile, but each time I try to play it, it just crashes.

I tried these things

1. AppLocale
2. Legional Settings
3. Short Path (Heck, I mean "C:\FF" isn't short enough...???)
4. Execute as adminstrator.
5. Tried full screen mode
6. My user name was in English from the beginning...

EDIT: 7. Compatibility mode with Windows XP. Still doesn't work.

None of them worked

I'm using Windows 7.

Does it have anything to do with screen setting and stuff? (e.g. "True color")

Anyone please save this poor lamb :(

Re: Fairy Fighting

when i try to do Tiki's special attacks, i do the correct actions to activate it but sometimes it doesn't work. Does any one else have a problem with this?

Nope, you Just suck at the game....

... Jokes aside, were you using keyboard or a gamepad of some sort ? If you, re on a keyboard, are you using the default control scheme?

There's any specific special that's failing, or all of them ?

I am using the default attack scheme for keyboard, but i changed the controls for moving your character from the default to the arrow pads. I have max skill points and when i try to do the 2 special movies(Fairy slash, and the Fairy Punch), sometimes it doesn't work.

You need a gaming keyboard, normal keyboards usually have quite the multi-key rollover limitation which makes fighting games on PC problematic at times.

You can try to remap the keys and hope that you can bypass the "blindspots" of your keyboard, in my case mapping everything to alphabet keys does it for me.

For example: wasd for movement, uio / jkl for the punch and kicks.

It's most noticeable in RPGs where you can walk diagonally with a alphabet key that can be held to speed the game up. Certain diagonal directions will not work with the speed up key at the same time.

If you have dungeons and prisoners demo that's the easiest to test. The A key is speed up mode I believe.

The actual explanation I copied from somewhere:

In order to save money, keyboard manufacturers often put many keys on the same "circuit" of sorts within the wiring of the keyboard. This prevents multiple keys in the same region of the keyboard from being pressed simultaneously. Sometimes it even prevents more than 2 keys at all from across the whole keyboard being pressed at once. Often the shift, ctrl, and alt keys are not within this limitation, so you can hold shift and press 2 other keys at once and it will still work fine.

Even high-end gaming keyboards often have a similar hardware limitation, although the cap is much higher so that it is unlikely to be reached during the normal course of gaming.

Thanks alot!

Re: Fairy Fighting

Well, Hentie already explained, but yeah, specially the arrow keys usually are held by this limitation (called ghosting).

A gaming keyboard or a gamepads are you best bet at this time.

back to the game, is just me, or after the update you only beats raper beast if he allows you to? he can very easily stunlock you even worse than the fairy crushers, and worst of all, he can counter even your counters

Re: Fairy Fighting

Mechanical keyboards have no such limitations and imo feel really nice to use, just sayin'. Don't have to buy something marketed for "gaming".

Re: Fairy Fighting

As we near the final few updates of Fairy Fighting (Not including updates that add missing Game Over Screens) and have our final Monster line-up, lets look back at the enemies that didnt make the final cut (but may hopefully appear in Eluku's next game).

(I cant understand a word in Japanese, so if someone can translate the blogposts where these monsters come from, or just give a short description of the monster and what it would've done in your own post, that be greatly appreciated)

(I nearly forgot I cant post links to the blog.. Gonna have to go to the blog yourself to get the rest of the details.. pointless if you dont read Japanese)

(I got nothin..)

?

Eh, I think I have pics of them uploaded on the thread here somewhere, but besides that, I don't remember the names, but there was also this "guro" doctor or something?

Edit:http://www.ulmf.org/bbs/showthread.php?p=188222#post188222 from an old post regarding one of the previous polls.

So two polls came up for the monsters, or was it three? It's been a while already.

If I recall properly, I think the Green Amoeba/Slime won the first one, or maybe the Fallen Fairy did? Either way, one was the runner-up and the other was the victor, they were both pretty popular votes at the time, so they got in.

Mist Sisters actually would've been in the game sooner if I recall right, but there was all that talk about there being scat involved with them(which in the end actually ended up sort of being true) which resulted in less people voting for them overall.(Probably. I'll probably be called out on this since I know we weren't the only people throwing votes in.)

The Robot actually would've made it in,which although, how seemingly out of place it might've been, I actually wouldn't of minded it. It, however lost to a burst in overwhelming majority votes for the Mist Sisters, with the Raper Beast also making it in since Eluku was interested in the idea.

In the end, several of the monsters that were in the poll got added in eventually, the Fairy Crashers, the Stomach Lancer got added in as part of one of Arakune's GORs, and the Mother Tentacle(whose name has changed by now I think) is the Final Boss.

Just call me Accidental Nostradamus

Re: Fairy Fighting

The Ana Moguri used to have different colors and the last three of them would appear with time, rather than appearing when the others were hurt.

There was a change to the Ana Moguri stage and a change to one of RaperBeast's game over animations due to scat complaints (one of which was me, but after Myst Sisters.. I kinda want them put back in)

Re: Fairy Fighting

For an enemy that should have possibly limitless versatility, the Amoeba is a very lame enemy, imo. Out of all the enemies in the game, it is probably my least liked. I'm now curious as to what that summoner-thing would have been like.

Re: Fairy Fighting

Does anyone have a good strategy for defeating the Mist Sisters? I have few problems with anyone else but I have never completed this stage.

Re: Fairy Fighting

Iirc I lured the "main" sister as far to the left as possible, then dashed to the right and destroyed the statue before she could return.

The way I always do it is take a piss first to get full SP, then wait for the blue haired sister to get all the way to the left, wait for her to try and grab you, dash past her and all the way to the right of the statue and then spam light punch (fairy breeze). When the blue sister appears on the screen again, stop spamming and wait for her to use her finisher, dash past her all the way to the left, and then repeat from the top. There's probably more efficient ways to do it, but that's how I always do it, and it seems safe for the most part.

Hope that helps!
