Played it, finished it. GOt the bad ending, could do it over for a shot at the good ending, might later. For now, notes and review.

Oh and before we get started I should note that there are serious instances of snuff in this game! Not like, gore or anything, but times where our protagonist very clearly dies. There's a scene where she gets pulled underwater by a monster who just keeps going while she chokes, hell one of the early monsters in the roguelike dungeon fully petrifies you as a status effect, killing you instantly if you don't cure it or win fast enough. (The heal spell cures status effects by the way, that's important.) I was impressed by how hardcore it all was, honestly. Not a bad thing.

FIrst off, this game is good. Like, very, extremely good. Theere's a great variety of content between the four zones, with heavy ryona/snuff in the escape room (school), prostitution/swinging in the casino, combat rape in the roguelike dungeon and intense game over scenes in the goblin den. Each one of your orgasms fills your corruption from 1-6% depending on severity, and game overs are worth that much again. That said, I can very clearly see a path to finishing the game with low corruption (and you have to in order to get the good ending) - just a bit of luck and foreknowledge would get you through easily. The luck problem can be solved with savescumming, by the way.

All that said, it's not without it's problems. Rng can play a heavy factor and the lighting effects can make the engine chug in some areas (worst culprits are the casino and goblin den), plus if you're not into the ryona and snuff, it's not "skippable" so much as "avoidable" - if you don't want to see mc get molested while hanged, don't get caught in the noose trap. No other way to prevent it. That said, the game has a very heavy focus on hypnotism/mind control, which is a huge plus for me personally, as well a great deal of bondage. Ticks a lot of my boxes.

The gameplay is solid, for the most part, and the overall experience is very polished - I only ran into two real bugs during my playthrough, and only one of them was a real issue - when ffighting the minotaur boss in the roguelike dungeon, if he pins you down and you try to submit, the game will crash. This compared to the other bug - when in the casino at one point, my eyes bugged out and started merging together until I triggered a different scene - is the bigger issue of course.

Honestly my biggest gripe about this game is that it was too short - four zones of content exploring different themes - all of them good - but because of that none of them had much real length or depth to them. Short but sweet, I would say.

Advice for people just coming into the game - losing (like, hard game over, getting to 100% corruption and earning the bad ending) does not block progress. In fact, it does the opposite - reaching the bad ending unlocks a "corrupted mode" of sorts, where the whole game stays just as unlocked as it was previously, but now you can freely change your outfit, body morphs, so on at will before you go fuck around with the zones you have or haven't already cleared. This includes refighting bosses - including the final boss if that's who game over'd you (like for me).

Not to undermine you but here's the full save with the true end (18) and the true end trigger (16)

EDIT

save is from version 1.0

seems to be incompatible to the newer version.

Finished the game with all 3 ending and oh boy does it deliver, especially the breast expansion MUST BE BIGGER and clothing modification at high corruption is pretty amazing, The gallery is amazing but it lacks the scene you get regarding the tentacles monster. Getting to 100% without any special scene (Cloth changing hypnotism end and Failing final fight) will unlock the scene where the tentacles monster allows you to modify your clothes in a scene. Seems like the emphasis is placed at the Bunny Girl Club Area along with requirement for certain stuff. I did not expect a heavy ryona/horror section in a school but it really is surprising.

It has been 6 years since Botan 1 releases and this certainly doesn't disappoint, It is sad however that the game itself is short but finally we can look forward to Botan II. Thank you Enokippu
In the bunny club, walk down in a small dark section in the first room to meet the green haired girl, pick up the magazine in the first room and pass it to the dude in the middle bar area in a corner to get Energy Drink, Pass the Energy Drink to a guy having fun with a girl in the 3rd bar area to get a key, Go back to the changing area with the key to get the water bottle, Bring the water bottle while having 2 or less resistance (Heart) to the green haired girl, after talking, go to the VIP section (Need A rank+) and walk towards the bottom right for the VD thingy, and talk to the girl twice to get the cutscene. After that finish the game as usual.

Updated the guide with information on the first three mini-games. Stuck in the goblin lair.

Take note demo save-games do not carry over to the full version.

Pro tip for anyone struggling with the final boss: your stats earned in the roguelike dungeon do carry over into the final boss fight. If you're getting stat checked, you can go grind.

Stuck on the goblin cave mini-game, lower level with 58 goblins remaining but don't know where the entrance to the next level is nor how to find more goblins to kill. This part of the game I really hate because there's absolutely no way around it bar blindly stumbling around without a mini-map to help.

It's been fun so far, but I'm waiting for an answer on Ci-En or someone here who's completed this mini-game to give a hand.

The goblin lair is easily the worst part of the game. Anyway here are some tips:

Each floor has a set number of goblins you can kill.
At the end of the dungeon you have to face a boss. The number of remaining goblins determines your success chance against him.
Don't worry too much about clearing them all out at once if you want to focus on finding the next floor. There's a built in shortcut near the end of the dungeon you can't miss which will let you explore the other floors.

Don't forget to save once you encounter the goblin struggle cuddle den floor. You can press X to back out if you enter it too early by accident. Your options are to charge in (game over), distract with clothing items (lowers the goblin count significantly) or run away and prepare.

I can't really tell you where the exits are but if its the floor I'm thinking of it gets a lot easier to find the remaining ones after that.

Thanks for the heads up. For the sake of those of us who don't enjoy those kinds of scenes, could someone please list specifically where they show up and how to avoid them?

I found the exit I needed eventually, normal mode is a real pain for this. I'm advising players to save just before the goblin boss, not only as a progression point but also to double-check where all of the exits are.

I didn't have a problem with the goblin den, went for the middle option and still finished with 5 living goblins before taking on the boss.

Guide finished. Assuming I didn't miss anything out, players who want to play the game instead of relying on save files from others should have enough information to clear the game on their own steam.

I wish there were more games like the bunny section of this game. The school one was also pretty good but the other two felt like a chore to do, specially the forest one.
