What's new

VN/TEXT RPG [Escu:de / JAST] Yamizome Revenger

In NG+, you get the ending for the first girl you completely corrupt. Or the harem ending if you actually pull off all six in a single run.

Heroine #6 has her own ending if you corrupt her first, but she doesn't override anyone if you fully corrupt a different girl first.
I was hoping that was the case, but I fully corrupted Nao-Blue Hair before corrupting Heroine #6 and it still gave me #6's ending. I even unlocked the various post-corruption CGs for Nao-Blue Hair. Maybe I defaulted to #6 because it was the first time I'd corrupted her and I'd corrupted Nao-Blue Hair in my first run?

Huh, weird. I'd done Red on my first playthrough, did Spoiler for my 2nd, did Blue for my third, and Blond for my 4th. (Heh. I played this a ton some years ago because the FFXIV servers were absolutely fucked when Endwalker launched.) I can't rule out that Spoiler got priority for beating her for the first time, but you should get your primary conquest's ending as normal on further playthroughs.

I'd left off on a Black playthrough but I hadn't completed it because I was doing Hard Mode and Hard Mode just turned out to be kind of tedious rather than interesting. Some day I'll get back to this, it's a good actual game.

Just finished it again with Red. Still got Spoiler's ending. No clue what's going wrong. I fully corrupted Red, got both school scenes and the mock battle scene, and then fully corrupted Spoiler with the standard special taunt. Still took me to Spoiler's ending, cheating me out of Red's ending. You can't just not corrupt Spoiler. If you do that, you get the bad ending. I guess NG+ is just busted.

Edit: So I skipped a bunch of day/night cycle to get more weekend interactions with Red and raise my affection with her. Went back to beat Spoiler, then sat through the credits rather than skipped them. Finally got Red's ending. Not sure what was causing the problems, but I guess you can't just rush a playthrough without maxing the target character's affection first.

How many time can you do a new game+ after your first NG+ while carrying skills? Also, do you carry potions and HP in a NG+?

No limit on the amount of times you can NG+; NG+ is where the meat of the gameplay is, after all.

HP mostly resets, like magic power. The more you have before starting a new run, the more will carry over.

Potions fully carry over. I couldn't remember if they did so I checked my game and I have like 70 potions. Heh.

Any advice for Citron? Her "Unhappy" skill is annoying and she is the strongest, she gave me 50% damage before I knock her down once at 3 heart gems only on my first playthrough, can't even imagine her at 4 gems... Silence seem to be the easiest. Citron is a nightmare.

The game is vaguely megaman-ish - if you looks at your skills you'll see a little graph at the bottom of the pop-up that shows the girls' faces on a graph. It's showing you which girl that skill is most effective against.

SIlence is basically weak to everyone but Labyrinth; she's absolutely meant to be the easiest girl to defeat. Arnesta is weak to Silence; Citron is weak to Arnesta; Labyrinth is weak to the secret boss; Aquila is weak to Labyrinth, and the secret boss is weak to Labyrinth and your starting skills.

Checking my deck against Citron, I'm loaded up on Acid Rain (short cast time, lots of zone control) and Noble Cross (which she's weak to).

Citron is absolutely meant to be a bitch of an opponent on your first playthrough. I don't think I actually got around to beating her until my third playthrough. I played this a shit-ton when this came out, as a direct result of FFXIV Endwalker having an incredibly scuffed launch. Heh.

Well I am at 4 gem for Arnesta and 3gems for the rest with still 13 days before Goddess apparition. I think I just corrupt Arnesta then Aquila and I will take Aquila with me against Citron. skillset wise, I have the same in my Deck.

Edit: Aquila is way harder than Citron, Arnesta was the easiest of the whole 3 four gems Heroines.
