I just found out about this yesterday by chance from youtube. So far it's a very nice game. I don't read these for the sex, I really don't, so it is very nice so far. I expect it to be depressing but I doubt it can be worse than "Kana"

Katawa Shoujo, due to how accessible it was, was the Visual Novel that got me started on the hobby. It's very good and will always be special to me for that reason, even though I really love Grisaia No Kajitsu, Steins;Gate, and Fate/Stay Night. I hope you enjoy it, there are definitely depressing parts but I normally enjoy bad endings as much as I do good ones.

If you do like it and are willing to read something longer, I'd suggest Grisaia No Kajitsu as it's similar in a way (not crippled girls, but definitely special) and even has some action in it.
