I really cant get it to work.
I downloaded and unpacked it with region on japanese settings (easy standard for me).
Then changed my keyboard to japanese (this is new, is it correctly executed like this?

I know that Yun-Ah posted a screenshot but i dont have that switchbutton in my main task bar on the bottom.
However it still closes after the warning screen.

One last thing then, change the non-unicode to japanese (third tab of region window).

Personally, I keep it on Japanese all the time so I dunno if it's needed or not. :p

I am dumb.
I thought the windows region setting were meant to be the unicode. never changed anything but the unicode yet ><. Thanks a lot for your effort though!-Its works now, having all three on japanese (cant tell if unicode was needed, it was japanese from the start already)

sadly i got stuck. Someone mentioned it in the thread already but noone could help. I also replaced the whole section but the boss doesnt spawn. If that is the room wiht the boss.

Is there a way to continue the game without spawning the boss?

It's supposed to appear when you are below the barrels ( close to that entrance on top ) and no , you need to fight it in order continue the playthrough

Darn. I played the game a lot now. Guess its a short game for me :p
I unpacked the ZIP file in region japanese and regular. Picked up the 2 secret collectables, took different routes to the boss room. Also made sure to not move the unpacked folder. THere must be a reason why i cant trigger it.
mrghhh. The game is good though :/. What if its possible to hack yourself the rocketlauncher? I bet the boss gives it to you for defeating him! (then you escape through the backside where you can shoot the wall).

Lets try 2.5 maybe that version isnt bugged ^^


edit: 2.5 jams the boss as well, DAW >:3

YES!
For my V. 2.5 try i started fresh without my old save files!
In addition i run the game in locale european since unpacking the ZIP file and didnt change that. I also unzipped the RAR file while having keyboard and the other setting on japanese already.
My troubleshooting ideas are exhausted and i gave up for now.
Well i could skip the boss and use a save file from right after if i find one though. The problem is that i dont know where that is. Someone would need to point me to one exact save file and tell me that this is right after the boss since i dont know the level after that ^^

I had to kill a fish boss before I got to fight the lizard boss, maybe you skipped over the fish.

Good idea. Yes i did kill the fish boss. He grants you more shoot-range. Lets think about ... i think there was a point you need the range to proceed..... erm... right. Where you find the wounded soldier the first time. You need to climb up a pile of stuff and shoot cog. You only have the necessary range if you kill the fish boss. So i had to have it anyways, but thanks for the idea!

I've reached another possible problem. I'm able to beat the final boss and get to the timer section. I run all the way back to where you started the game (which, judging by the doors that won't let me enter them, seems like the correct way to go). Yet when I reach it, nothing happens. Is my game bugged again, or am I supposed to escape using a different route? I've tried every door in the second room of the game (the one where you first see an injured soldier), but they're all locked, and I've shot everywhere looking for breakable walls, but I can't find anything.

IIRC, during the timer section, we are supposed to exit where Margaret initially came in from when starting a New Game. If nothing happens when you reach that part, then I think your game might indeed be bugged.

Welllll, fuck me.
I gave it yet another try today. Unzipped once more freshly with all computer settings in japanese and without save file.
All i did different was a speedrun and NO SAVING (not entering a single saving room til second boss) and look at that he appeared.

So for me: not dying and not saving helped to fix the bug.

Edit: "Statue Riddle"

If your overworld colors are green (2times) -> yellow -> blue
Then you have to do this specific order underwater. (the right statues in the right order)
Green -> blue -> yellow -> touch red (being on top of it in fact, no need to press a button i think, press c anyways to be sure)

So damn, if you cant read japenese you really gotta try every single combination, the only statue that is not needed in the trial and error is the color that is not on the overworld, so you need to try it up to 9 times! GL ;P
