EDIT: Never mind, it's shit. Not even worth the effort. How they managed to break half the features that were already working is beyond me. Even sex scenes that already existed are missing again.

Well judging by the flack 5.8 got I can't help but think people arn't that interested but if anyone is a patreon 5.9 is live with the store and guild (presumibly) working again.
And the cat/horse animation as well as gremlins.
Don't know if they are animated yet though, I'm not a patreon.

If only they focused on finishing the foundation of this game by completing all the animations for existing monster pairs then I believe they would be earning the money they receive. Even then, the pace they work at for a 4 man team earning 30k a month is unbearably slow.

If H-bomb is reading this, dude finish the core of your game before working on extra events.

But then they couldn't redo the art over and over to gradually (and not so gradually) make everyone's tits and asses larger than their torso, or flat as a ironing board, with nothing in between. Surely, this goal must be a priority.

As a developer by trade, it bugs me how all these projects seem to just...not be well done overall. I feel like this stuff isn't as hard as some of these projects make it out to be. I keep making attempts at doing it on my own, but my laziness combined with spending 40+ hours a week on development for work makes it hard for me to get anywhere. And frankly, I feel like the difference between me and projects like Breeding Season is that I wouldn't feel right taking people's money before a good chunk of content was done.

Heck, I decided to take a break from gaming for a few days and throw together some basic javascript/HTML and setup hosting to see how hard it would be. So, now I have pellisam.com up and running. Of course, then I got side-tracked playing around in Unity for a few days, so I haven't made much progress since, but still, I feel like a less scrupulous developer would have thrown some sprites on that page and setup a Patreon for some quick cash.

Okay so in the alpha 5.9 build, what animations are there actually? The game still seems to have less content than its original release. I understand that what they do have looks better, but I have no idea how they still have such a tiny product with this many months of work put into it.

You say how it, "isn't that hard," and then go on to talk about how you are unable to make any progress on your own game. Making a quality game is actually quite challenging, if it wasn't, there would be a lot more finished projects. When 95% of project fail, it probably means it is not really that easy. Teams fair better, but the the one-man developer has to deal with writing, art, coding, music, and more. That is quite a wide skill set.

I agree though, that there are developers who lack scruples. I think it falls on the consumer to not fund these developers, or at a minimum, demand a certain amount of content before funding. Patreon is only a quick way to make cash if people are willing to fund it.

To be fair, Breeding Season has a 4-person team, so yeah. I was quiet on this for a while, but it is kinda ridiculous how much that team gets on Patreon when half the indie h-games on ULMF alone that are being Patron funded are making more progress with more content in just a few months than they've put out in a year or so.

Kinda wondering why people stay pledged to it with such a slow update of resources, when there are a boatload of more deserving, harder working, better managed Patreon funded h-games out there, your game included.

360 000 $ would be a decent mainstream PC game bunget.

Playing Havest Moon and watch 18+ monster girls images is funnier. And they have very slow progress. Why people patreon for that.

Which is unfortunate since I didn't like his art direction. Bestiality was the main draw to that game for me and everything went downhill after he came along. But it seems like hes the only one getting any work done there while H-bomb is clearly taking his sweet time. Id guess he does a maximum of 10 hours of coding per week considering the amount of content in each monthly update.
