In both cases system locale is the problem - game must be run under Japanese locale. You can either change your system settings or use software like Locale Emulator (hrpgheaven had some problems with it, I didn't) or NTLEA (don't know it) - most likely Applocale will not work (at least not for both issues).

So I'm stuck, or missing something that I should be doing. What am I supposed to do to continue after the second extermination quest?
I've run through till this point twice. I've gotten her weapon up to level 3, have the swimsuit, gotten a lot of the H-scenes from the church/onsen/barracks etc. She has visited the 'boyfriend/fiance' (or whatever he is) like 7-8 times. At this point I cant really find anything else to do. I'm hoping it's something small that i keep overlooking =/
How do I initiate 'the war' where all the men supposedly go off to war? Any help would be awesome.

If you can check my other post i have already stated i changed everything needed on my system to japanese in fact its the first thing i do before setting up my pc

. Two other things that comes to mind:
- make sure you have "MS Gothic" font installed
- open game.ini and make sure that Library= points to RGSS104J.dll (if I'm right it already should be like this, but who knows...).
Other than that I can't help you.

Hmmm it's okay thank you ill try that out. I should note demo works fine for the parts i cant enter but the full games a no go

As for font - attached scripts file should make font locale-independent, and will save font/locale check result in FontCheck.log file in game folder, but you need to decompress game to use it.
Don't know what's causing second error - file from error message is in ver. 1.2.3 .

Maybe I'm looking too much into the story in this, It's a good game and all but there's alot(I hope there's alot) unfinished that I wish that it will be addressed in this game or the next, hoping it's this game particularly with the guy from the city, your grandfather, the war and also the blonde guy that you first met with your boyfriend.
Ah, I see. Yeah there's lots of talk about marriage and your relationship with the guy between several NPC's I also probably misinterpreted the discussion you had with him sitting on the bench talking about marriage between you two and took it for him proposing it to you in the prologue. Also would you really say raped? I mean sure they had some drink and pressured into stripping to her underwear showing herself off but the boyfriend never took advantage while you were passed out and 'looked after you.' She may have been taken advantage of because of her feelings but I didn't see it as raped.

There was some talk of a walkthrough with all the events listed in the first few pages of this thread but I haven't seen a link or anything anywhere... Could someone point me to it or is it hopelessly outdated by now with all the new versions popping up?
Also will the 1.2.1 partial work with 1.2.5 and on?

Hmm...well, rape could be too strong of a word. But it was definitely forced and she was trying to stop him the whole time before penetration after that point she pretty much just gave in to the pleasure so "forced consent"?

There's clearly a lot of events to be added, like those giant areas with nothing to do, the paths out of the city that she still can't cross, and some obvious iterations like the bald man with a bath and a place to take off the clothes inside the inn or the prison area of the army.

No. I would wait for some bigger update and the author saying something along the lines of "taking a break for a month people, take care" for someone to get the translation done. As of now, re-translating it every couple of days is a chore.

Which is wierd, since I've done the plant infestation quest and also had the event with the boy in the cave too, however that didn't really unlock it

Help I'm stuck. So I made it behind the cave and fought some plant monsters, in the end I lost her under garments and got hit with the lust status effect. Now I can't enter anything anymore, even her own house. Is it a glitch or is there someway to get rid of effect or wear her underwear again?
