Hey guys,

I've tried but I could really use some help on this one. I've just downloaded the latest game version and can play it fine until I get attacked. As soon as any creature touches my char the game freezes and i get 'not responding'.

I've unzipped and run the game in Japanese locale, I've renamed the folder and .exe to the same thing but it still happens. I'm running windows 7 and I don't understand why this is happening. Do I need a player or anything to run this game?

Help would be wonderful. Cheers.

I finally found a fix to this!!! It sadly takes away from the game though. In order to get get it to run smoothly you need to disable the sound. I tried to just lower the BGM to 0 using the options in game to no avail. If you open task manager, go to performance, click resource monitor and navigate to the memory tab you can the find the resource 'audiodg.exe.' Right click and end process and this should allow the game to run smoothly. No sound tho kinda stinks, but I have found no other solution

In their current states, nanocrisis is still a better game than hounds imo. It's got a long way to go before it breaks any new trails.

Nano is just a much better game than Hounds IMHO. It totally sucks that he abandoned Nano in favor of Hounds.

Personally, I like the characters from Nano better.

It wasn't abandoned. After the quake in Japan it was lost. Just be happy they're working on something after that. :<

I thought they HAD abandoned it? I remember reading somewhere on here that he wasn't happy with Nanocrisis, so he started from scratch. Hence Hounds of the Blade.

This. It's because he had a new gameplay system that he wanted to do. Hence why the game is so much faster.

anyway im still playing it right now.."
just finish the 3rd stage,but the 1st extra stage is impossible -.-.

im still finding its english patch(though google can't help much )

Use the defense armour and the fasy shooting gun. The defense armour will let you take more hits and make it easier to shake them off before they rape you; and the speed gun will make it easier to shoot the flies out of the air.

Defense armor yes, but you want the power gun, because it one-shots the flies. The shooting time isn't so low that it becomes difficult, and the speed of taking out flies in one hit cannot be matched.

It was Nightmare Sphere 2 that has halted because of the earth quake

He's giving up on this game too? Wow...I'm shocked. Never saw that coming.

But yeah...disappointing news but not unexpected...can't remember a game he's done that he's actually completed.

Yes, he says he hasn't felt motivated lately, and the April update might be impossible.

The parts after has him explain that he never really had the intention of finishing the game, just to develop it as long as he enjoys it and that it's unlikely to be finished at the current slow rate of development, in reply to someone asking.
He says he had the intention of dropping it when he tired of it from the start.

Before you guys explode I point out that it doesn't say that he has tired of it and is dropping it yet. He might feel like it or he might just be in a bit of a slump, nothing conclusive.

To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if he does drop it, I wouldn't blame him either. There's nothing worse than working on a game you've grown to hate, not only do you suffer through it but the final products quality is usually reduced because of it too.

He will drop it like evry other game he made, I was sure as it took so long for a new update, I will not look up any other things he will Quit in future ^^
