Safehouse, yes. Rinny you can just ask (but if you've 'lost' her, then she won't be available until I make the part of the game to bring her back.) Sammy, you need good relationship with.

I do already have an idea for grinding empathy out next update, so don't worry, it's coming.

Treat cassie... maybe. It'd probably feel better for the player, huh?

i kinda like sunk 1000 gold or the currency worth in the bathhouse ans still haven't gotten the prompt for the locked room. is it rng based? cos i suck at that and it's supposed to be randon. and i mean like bragging rights kinda bad at rng stuff... and would the update for getting back rinny be soonish or could you like add a debug to get her back after losing her... cos she's kinda gone in my playthrough waaay before i got the safehouse. also about treating cassie i was just spit balling ideas. To be honest i'll rather prefer to be able to do more changes at her and chage her like face and body and such. like you could for the pc at the succubus tower and change other stuff about her than curing her. cos it's a game.

Which clothes even affect your empathy stat? I was wearing waitress or strap-clothes (IIRC, strap-top boosts your empathy by one?)

When my mystic was locked at half, it wasn't due to clothes or lust, lust was nil (and has a self-explanatory status-effect) and nothing I was wearing could possibly have halved my magic-stat.

Looks like (in r8.2) all of the following add one to your Empathy:
Gold/Silver Chain Necklace
Gold Pendant
Bangles
Gothic Lolita Shirt
Fishnet Heels/Boots
Heels
Strap Top

No other equipment seem to do anything, positive or negative.

No, not random. Have you talked to her and introduced yourself? You need to do that first.

Yeah, noticed rinny being gone means getting locked out of magic if you hadn't learned it yet. I'll do something about that.

Hmm, well I dunno about messing with cassie. She's already got a bleak tale. But I'll keep that idea in mind (changing an npc's features)

I don't exactly remember how I got empathy but mine is 8 naturally.

Don't forget, you can hit "D" to force combat. This will allow you to "grind" for sprites.

with normal talks she says horndog something something and by going to that room and talking she does react about the room with a something something maybe...

Try to wear something more decent? IIRC, it's not explicitly illegal to run around with high-exposure clothing in the city, but NPCs tend to get too put off to converse normally.

what! youre telling me my crotchless underwear isnt decent enough? XD
edit.. 20 something tries later it's finally worked. also... didnt the lab after getting infested be fixed by talking to the woman in the base? do you need a certain stat to be at a certain lvl to do it? cos she always fights me and i always beat her....

so what is the deal with the mirror in the crypt or rather the crypt in general?

I either lose the mystic challenge and get kidnapped or I pass it but then rinny gets taken. How do I get her back? Is it possible to go past that damned mirror without someone going MIA?

Is there even a point in going through the crypt at all? Because on the other side is another one of those many, many teasing closed doors with no apparent way to go through.

And what about that crypt-keeper-woman you supposedly can encounter in the crypt? where is she at? does she exist?

getting kidnapped is a dead end for now. if rinny gets kidnapped then just lose a fight with a random enemy.

What exactly is supposed to happen then?

went to the mirror, lost rinny, then lost a fight against one of those ghosts in the crypt.

I then reawakened in the safehouse and went back to transylvania.

I can't access the graveyard anymore and rinny is still gone.


Did I do it right?

wat? if you lost to an enemy in the crypt or graveyard after losing... you get kidnapped by a witch girl. that's as far the content is at for now. you are
NOT supposed to be teleported to the safe house. a bug maybe?

I guess it is a bug then, I don't know, but it keeps happening...
No witch girl encounter for me it seems... :(

Also a couple of other questions:

- It is not yet possible to rescue Linda, the scientist girl. Is this correct?
The farthest I got with her was defeating that succubus-woman mystria or whats-her-face and then following her into some sort of secret area in the abandoned base, where there is a ladder downwards and a note of the developer saying this area is not finished yet.

- What is the deal with the mushroom clothes?
Both the creepy dude that sells you them and their description in the inventory seem to point out that they may be cursed in some way? But I did not see any bad side effects by running around in those 24/7 blasting fools with my sick magic skills. So is there anything more to them?

- Are there more spells to learn than those 3 you learn from rinny? Any other magic teachers in this game yet?

1) dont know. i couldnt get ahead of getting the lab infested.
2) maybe something for the future?
3) yep cos she doesnt know spells good for human uses. maybe the witch girl will teach the pc more spells

If you need help with that lab infestation story, just ask, I think I finished it as far as it goes.


In my opinion, this game is in desperate need of a wiki, especially during development. It has a lot of loose ends and a lot of the solutions to a problem are hard to understand and often times not very intuitive, to only name two of its problems.

ya... i too believe a wiki is needed. also i could use the help. my question about the lab could be found in the forum like a few posts back. would be nice if you could help.

Don't know if it is the correct post but I guess you need to find that shiny extract stuff for the serum?

You need to go to the park in the abandoned city. Inside the cave in the park there is a room where a robot is blocking the path. It is marked by an [!] symbol in the same way as other interesting locations in the game. it will tell you that you need to insert a battery, but that will only give you a few random items. in order to pass you need the magic skill "energy shock" or whatever it was called. you can use it on the robot and it will explode.

After the robot is gone, you can approach another [!] symbol. It will be a huge plant with a big mouth for swallowing you and tentacles. Kill that thing and you get the shiny extract stuff.

You can also surrender / lose to the plant for a lengthy scene in which you get molested by fairies and the plant. Maybe you also get the shiny extract stuff after the scene is done, I don't know, I just killed it because f**k the fairies and their plant.

After that, return to the lab, get 10x serum in exchange for your ingredients, go back to the abandoned base, defeat mystria and inject her with the stuff.

After that you have some choices of what to do with her, I don't know if it matters at all what you choose, my guess would be no.

so she should take you to a special area of the dungeon afterwards and point you in the right direction to rescue linda. there is a hidden entrance to this area a few tiles above the flesh door in the wall inside the abandoned base, quite similar to the hidden entrance to the succubi tower.

maybe you can also enter there before you defeat and inject mystria? I don't know.
