ACT Abandoned Ryona [Inui] Hounds of the Blade

Re: Hounds of the Blade

It's very much liek the idea about the fly and fly larvae in Hounds of the Blade

Re: Hounds of the Blade

Sylvia scene with Unknown, thats as far as I know

Re: Hounds of the Blade

A brief look through the patch files (from 20161113 to 20161225) shows one rescue failure and modifications to the Walker enemy, so it seems the update is one new rescue failure scene for the Walkers in the Kito Lab.

Re: Hounds of the Blade

Yep, it's a Sylvia rescue failure scene with the Walkers and sadly not a very interesting one. Though it's always great to see more Sylvia.

On a more gameplay-related note, I hope Inui will scale down the effect difficulty has on the stun-recovery at some point. It is super annoying that you are unable to get up again on higher difficulties, especially if you just want to get killed quickly for the scenes instead of going through long rape-animations.

Re: Hounds of the Blade

Don't know what this is because it doesn't seem to be happening for anyone else on this thread. I started a new playthrough because I haven't picked up this game in a long time. Killed the cobolio gang, failed on the testing simulation (natch) and then went and talked to robogirl at the spaceport. Went back to get the lowdown on rats and bats and bad cats and it crashed. Thinking it might be a one-time thing I reloaded, went through all the dialogue again and it still won't let me actually get back into the hunter's office for briefing. This is a fresh installation on a recently formatted Wondows 10 installation with no translation patch, and the error is as follows:

<a href="https://gyazo.com/2de5705c6dcf216b59f37b1991489a0f"><img src="https://i.gyazo.com/2de5705c6dcf216b59f37b1991489a0f.png" alt="https://gyazo.com/2de5705c6dcf216b59f37b1991489a0f" width="503"/></a>

Hitting 'ignore' just causes an error loop. Gonna start a new game after this and see if it still happens, just posting to see if anyone else knows about this.

Yep, me too. It happens after I fly back to the city and trigger the cutscene with the "Snitch" character. Once the scene is over and control is apparently meant to be returned to player, KEERRRASH.

Re: Hounds of the Blade

I have a question based on my inexperience with programming. Is it possible to edit some files somewhere in this game so that more than one type of enemy can appear in a level? Like I could edit the Desert level so that flies, goblins, AND lizards all appear?

I did something similar with a much simpler game once just by editing some of the text files.

No, the way he has his GM project structured it's pretty linear. GM is not designed for people that understand OOP.

As soon as you get hit and before Aya hits the ground, open the menu and change the difficulty to the easiest one, you'll be able to get up quickly. Then change it back to the hardest one to get hit a lot again. You'll hit 0 HP quickly without going through the rape animations.

Re: Hounds of the Blade

How far does the latest translation go?

I think right before the last Slums update, but enough of the core dialogue is translated enough that you can definitely find your way around. It's not like you can't imagine what they're saying in most of the scenes anyway, it's not great dialogue.

Yeah it's really not. There could be easily half the dialogue cut out of this production and it would drastically improve the quality of it.

We're talking porn here, you're not gonna find Hemingway. Everything you need to play the game is translated as well as 70% of the content.

Re: Hounds of the Blade

You should probably mention that the translation breaks some of the newer stuff because it uses outdated scripts.

But that's the point, it's porn and not hemingway but inui wants to include a whole book series of dialogue for each cutscene.
