Re: Hounds of the Blade
Nice, keep up the good work.
Nice, keep up the good work.
I'm optimistic and grateful that people are even doing things like that at all, really (translations, guides, etc).
I gotta say, I'm really excited to see this game's progress. And Inui's experience in making these projects is evidently growing, becoming more inventive in a lot of ways, I think. Nanocrisis and HOTB are perhaps my favorite H games that I've ever played. Plus, you know... can't really complain about a free game demo.![]()
Oh yeah, and there is that Mendes fight that I keep purposely losing to...![]()
These are the current enemies and areas in the game. Areas marked with an asterisk are one-time-only, so save accordingly.
Coblio gang (prologue*, Coblio hideout)
Tester (Fio's simulation)
Rats (sewer)
Bats (sewer)
Ziga [the zombie-like people] (sewer)
Flies/maggots (garbage mountain)
Fly hunters (garbage mountain)
Lizards/baby lizards (desert)
Goboliy [midgets] (desert)
Mendes gang (Goto's Dojo*)
Roaches (tunnel)
Orcs (forest)
Entelodon [pigs] (forest)
Assar (slum alley*)
All of the enemies have game over scenes, but there are several conditional, additional scenes as well.
Fio - Lose to Testers and agree to her conditions
Bar bathroom - lose to Mendes and don't resist
Alley rapist - Leave tunnel (with roaches) in a weakened state.
slum vagrant - Lose to Assar and don't resist
Slum kids 1 - get raped by vagrant 3 times and don't stand up
slum kids 2- same as above one more time

Whenever I loose to mendes in Goto's dojo, I get stuck in an endless spitorasting loop; is the bar bathroom scene something else entirely or is my version bugging out?

for whatever reason the main folder and sub folders keep reverting to Read-Only
I'm afraid he won't be able to, since every folder is marked as Read-Only by (some? most?) Windows, but that doesn't mean that files inside are Read-Only or that it will cause problems.Solve this and you'll be able to run the game. The error message you quoted is more or less a direct result of the above.

Holy shit, I know I've been gone for a while, but I've missed so much. I think I stopped taking updates right before the roaches.
Questions regarding the above:
1. When do the Fly-hunters show up?
2. When do the goblins in the desert show up?
5. Is there no end to the cockroach horde?! I'm supposed to hack enough of them up to stop them from reproducing but I can kill tens and thousands of credits worth of them and still no scene takes place. Is this as far as the new version goes?
fly hunters and gobbies are random alternate versions of their respective stages (you do have to clear them at least once). Pretty much if you enter those stages and see flies/lizards, leave (back to the ship) and come back until you get the alt version.
Tunnel is an endless stage at the moment, basically just for farming.
