haven't been here in years, going to try the new game, but I can't find the thing that opens SWF files.

First check out the community guide, there's a new repository there. The program you're looking for is Adobe Flash Projector. And as always, try to pick up the originals you like on DLSite.
 
I also saw that some of the new ask game downloads don't have SWF anymore. Does he only use .exe file now to run his new games only?

He does, but it is possible to extract the swf file out of the exe. A simple program located in the JSK Tools Repository is all that is needed.
 
That doesn't solve the problem of still having to run exe flies. My Mac can run flash flies like SWF no problem, I can't run exe files. And don't feel like buying a pc just to run a couple of $10 games.

First, why buy a MAC and then expect to play games anyway?
Second, they all come as flash files still. He releases both the exe and swf versions of his games.

There are a few solutions to that problem. One way would be to setup a Mac to PC desktop emulator like

. That would allow you to run exe files on your Mac. The other would be to wait on the JSK translation community to extract and release the required SWF files in an uncensor or translation release.

Tough on him for spending Golden Week at home developing the game instead of doing the usual things Japanese do on the first week of May. To be fair, he's not exactly complaining since his life prior to the Emergency was largely spent indoors anyway.

He's said something about changing the timing of the timestop compared to the previous games, so followers will have to wait and see what he has in store.

Emergency means you have to spend golden week at home anyway, I swear they're extending it past GW

So far progress has been showing the concentration. It took him 4 weeks to finish 45% of the game and 2 h scene while the same time spent on Elf only got him 40% of the game and 0 scenes so we might see this game next month or maybe the end of May even.
