What's new

I really wish the developer would just bring on a reliable translator and sell the translated games. I've bought a few of his games after finding old poorly translated games online and they are the best. Love the games and the community.

Looks like the Introduction scene. She is off center.
She points her sword at you.
The space on the left is most likely there in preparation for when she does that.

Rule of JPN fantasy evil female antagonists. Make sure the clothes are revealing or skimpy.
Just the adults.
If they're "teens" or younger, they're dressed conservatively.

Wonder which part break method will JSK. HP-based or instant part break.
Could be HP based if he's keeping the skills the same.
The lightning attack was the best armor buster in the original game, as it did damage to the armor as well as the girl.

its been a while since I've been on this forum, went to use the guide and saw it changed and removed walkthroughs for 10+ game(s). Did something happen that I missed while gone, or are the other game walkthroughs available somewhere else?

Honestly, I liked Caster (Fate/Stay) since she had the "witch" thing going for her. Honestly, a lot of the earlier Type/Moon costume designs lean to the conservative (ex: Alucreid's original sweater + long-skirt). .

If you've got a strip-fighter / costume break mechanic going on, you don't really need to start skimpy. You can be covered up and the costume break mechanic will naturally lead to a skimpier outfit later! If anything, there need to be more girls with simpler / more normal outfits, lol. I got plenty of characters who basically have "stripper outfits" as it is.

The community guide got split into parts, having all the content in google doc was causing serious lag. There should be links to the other parts on the community guide you have access to.

I hope his skill with Unity have improved from the last game, the last one didn't look so good qualitywise, imo. The Great Demon King still holds up pretty well, so making a remake might prove to be difficult.

A "witch girl"... I remember the time when I played Dragon's Crown with a Sorceress. Too bad Vanillaware hardly ports its games to the PC.
Yep, I'm talking about 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. I'd love to play that game, but to buy a PS4/5 just for that... No. Just no.

Didn't that get released for Switch as well? I'd suggest them as far as consoles go at the moment. They aren't really censoring mature titles. Downside is Devs are making less mature titles right now. It's like AAAs are just playing it safe until the next political shift. If that's the case, cest la vei. I've got some catching up to do on my R-18 wishlists anyway.

I did suggest a wizard / witch...before the unity transition but now Yumisu remake happened.

I want the rather classic sort of witch. A witch with a crooked/point hat.

Not a sorcerer / sorceress , which is a wizard without a hat.

Under The Witch is a game that borrows heavily from JSK's general design mentality, but makes the combat simpler and instead of having different endings based on mid-battle decisions is all femdom.

Guess my joke falls flat. Forgot that Dragon Crown's witch is called sorceress.

So how do I play the older JSK games now? I downloaded them from the studio guide but I can't open them with flash player, it opens them with adobe acrobat document. Help pls.

Flash player projector/content debugger are still available on Adobe's site, either of which should run the stuff you've downloaded.
(Probably could've posted in the JSK thread itself, but w/e)

Blog Update.

Does anyone want to interpret the new picture?

So much stuff displayed on the battle HUD.

7 HP-based parts.
Lust hearts & climax gauge.

Unsure what does those 4-bars at the very bottom mean. Can only read out 1 of them means upper/top wear.

And items make a return. I am guessing healing potion, binding talisman and Aphrodisiac.

Similar UI as the vampire hunter game, but with more bells and whistles.

There's an ecstasy gauge for the demon queen, each item of her item has a HP bar before it breaks, the four black hearts are almost certainly going to be for hypnosis reverse rape scenarios and the final four items in white are her top, skirt, brassiere and panties respectively.

Damage bar indicates the stun mechanic makes a comeback from previous games.

For the player's UI, the vertical bars are now replaced by a circular gauge. Smaller bars for the action stock points, the bigger one when full gives one action point. There are three items, but it's anyone guess what they'll do since details of how they function will be revealed in future Ci-En posts.

He says the UI benefits from Unity's higher resolution, and I'm inclined to agree. The change to a circular gauge for the action points is going to take some getting used to.

I do not have Adobe flash player in my PC anymore and I can't open the games with it, can you please give me a link to some other flash player or the same one if it's still possible to download it so I can play the games. Thank you.

Use the Adobe Flash Projector. you can find that in the repository. If you right click the SWF file you can choose "Open with" to select all SWF files to automatically use the projector.

Goddamn, now I'm getting kind of hyped.
